This channel is about cars, motorhomes and road trips.
For me, there is no better way to discover the world than by traveling by car. I've had several different cars and motorhomes and done lots of shorter and longer trips in Europe. Favorite places for me are Norway, Northern Sweden and the Alps, where I often return. Here I will present content about my various cars, equipment and tips, but above all travel experiences.

Hej Swede365! I really like your videos and also the stills, very nice indeed. How do you find the Hyper ML-T, quality in general and the available space in the vehicle?
I have had very few problems with the car and the space is good for being under 7 meters. If you are very tall you might find the bed a little bit short but as you can put in the mattress in the middle you can get good space anyway

Hi, I have the MLT-570 Crossover and was wondering which levelling jacks you installed, and how you have found them, I’m looking into fitting the jacks to mine.
It’s Goldschmitt and they work great. Sometimes I need to put some extra plates under them because of the high ground clearance.

The bull bar is from Delta and the lights are PIAA. Thank you 🙏
@@swede-365 Thank you. Did you go for the 63mm or 70mm version? Also, looking at the spec it says it weighs 500kg! that can't be right. Does it add much weight?
It’s 63 mm and it doesn’t weight much at all. It’s all aluminium with only some steel brackets

Hello Per, I know you’ve moved on vehicle wise, but I got my iX1 in Oct’23 and just realised my adaptive lights simply do not work, and your videos have been an immense help to me in diagnosis and getting a fix, which hopefully will be done this week.

On parking assist, does the car also break automatically?
Don’t remember for sure but I think so. I have sold the car so maybe someone else can answer.
I have the petrol version. You can say, ‘hey BMW turn up heating, or turn on air conditioning.’ The entire system is voice activated. Safer than using the screen.

I agree with the comments.. of exterior.. BMWs best looking SUV. IX3 does not make sense and the IX makes me puke.. and IX2 is just weird..
I’m almost ready to order my BMW IX1 edrive20. But I’m confused about the driving assistant options. At this point I understood that I will need the driving assistant and assistant plus to have all the options I need/want. But there is also the driving assistant professional option. Can you explain the difference? I read the brochure ten times but the terms and wording are a little confusing to me. Only if needed I will spent the extra amount of money. For example the auto lane change is an option that is not important for me to have. Is pro needed for handsfree driving? I hope you are able too explain this to me. Thank you in advance.
You need pro to have “hands free driving”
@@swede-365This means without pro I have to touch the steering wheel every time I got a message/warming. But steering between lines, driving corners, keeping distance, following cards, reading signs, etc. is included in the Plus option ?
@jtmvanputten you can’t drive all hands free even with pro….only for a short time. Without pro the car don’t have steering assistance = following corners etc.
@@swede-365 I read in the Plus option "Steering and Lane Guidance Assistant (base)". Described as helps the driver stay in the middle of the lane with corrective steering movement in the speed range of 0 - 180 km/h. Is this only staying in lane but not in corners? Sorry for all my questions, but I try to understand.

I love the iX1 shape and build quality, but the efficiency figures are so bad :/ in tesla you have 16.5kwh/100km, also the battery is bigger, so we are talking of about 150km more... also the 180km/h top speed is just too low... unfortunately, the difference is abysmal

Thank you for sharing your experience. I like this car very much. It is the number one EV for me. I think that the perfect car doesn't exists. There is always something that could be different or better. It is a matter of personal opinion. What is annoying for me is the range. For an expensive car like this I would expect more range and faster charging.
The range is quite ok I think for that type of car. As an suv it’s not super efficient when it comes to wind resistance and as it’s quite small you can’t put a huge battery in it.

What was the problem with Kabe ? How is driving Kabe vs. Hymer ?
The quality was terrible with a lot of problems. All my journeys had to be cancelled due to failures with control systems and mechanical faults.
@@swede-365 Problem on Kabe parts or on Mercedes parts ? Kabe electronics ?
All faults belonged to Kabe. Mostly with their Smart D system. But also damaged back and side doors, interior that fell apart etc…

you did well to cancel the Fisker, I finally bought a 2019 Jaguar i-Pace second hand, paying 35% of the 2019 price 6 months ago. Delighted with it - I knows it charges a bit slow for long trip but prices was alluring as there are too many cars coming from lease for the market to absorb, leading to a steep drop the last year and half.
I am not surprised…there were too many things that seamed suspicious both with the car and answers from Henrik himself…

how have the rims managed in the winter? considering the same setup where I just change the tires. Would you have done anything different today? I live in Denmark, so have more or less the same climate, just a bit more mild.😉
I have sold it and drive a i4M50 now but I had no problem the winter I owned it

Nice relaxing video. I was in Lofoten Islands last October and November. I was very surprised to see hundreds of Japanese and Chinese tourists. I could‘t believe my eyes. How does it look like in summer when there are other tourists as well?
I have been there in the summer and then it’s really crowded so I think the best experience is a little bit off season.

this was really helpful for me as I am picking my options for my new X1. I currently am using an older X1 with sport seats and generally like it...except the head rest!

Thank you for these beautiful pictures. I made this trip in spring and it is with pleasure that I rediscover landscapes in winter. You also made me discover two magnificent beaches that I had not visited. Norway is a fantastic country.

Hello. Thank you for very informative video. I have a question in regards to large suitcases, on some other video I've seen that large ones wont fit laying flat, is it possible to put them standing on the wheels or the heigh would be a problem ? I'm considering X1 for my family 2+2kids and wondering how it will do on the road trips. Thanks in advance
It’s a small car so it’s best that you visit a dealer and check out for yourself. I think it will be tight have them standing.
