Does this ZOTEK ZT-X drains battery very quickly? Is this meter a power hog? I would appreciate answer.

I don't use this daily but I do use it regularly. When I use it, I use it intermittently like checking the voltage of wiring. I am still on the original batteries. I can attest that it doesn't seem to be draining the batteries in standby mode. I'm not sure how they would last if you were to use it 8 hours a day for 5 days a week.
