I read a lot of complaints about these machines. In most cases, folks either need a workaround solution or a firmware update. Firmware updates can be scary for some, but with the R20 units they don’t need to be. The impact can be great in most cases, so I strongly suggest the process if it’s not been done and then on a regular basis (at least once a year). I hope this presentation serves useful with this and other issues.

I just returned this and got the Spire Studio. I think I got a faulty unit in the R 20. A lot of potential.

No footswitch input for start/stop and punch in! What an oversight!!

I love the R20! It’s great!! Just updated my firmware on seeing this video so thanks!👍

You never fail

Is there a way to create effects edits such as panning to individual tracks? For example I want to be able to pan a track from left to right after its been recorded, or increase or decrease reverb/delay. Thank you!

I thought there was an optional bluetooth adapter that can be used with an app to add some functions that you mentioned.

Is it possible to use the R20 as an Audio Interface and Controller in Linux Reaper DAW or Android Cubasis 3 or Ipad Garage Band/Logic Pro? This would be nice..

Good to begin watching this video with "Flaws". Made me skip all the other videos about the Zoom R20 I hd qued-up.

I recently bought an R20, and it has an issue I don't see here. When I plug my standalone keyboard into either of the combo inputs with a 1/4-inch instrument cable, the sound is distorted. XLR cables plugged into the dedicated XLR inputs don't seem to have this issue. I need to use 1/4" cables for guitar, bass, and keys, and am very dissapointed that the recorder I bought doesn't have a usable 1/4" input. I might return it because of this one issue.

For another zoom product with the same problem I just bought 1/4" to xlr cables and everything works fine. Try one as a test.

I'm still trying to see a video with a work flow for a hip hop song or RnB song I really want to ditch my daw
