    Hey man , I appreciate this video. Been worried about why I couldn't get ones all blotchy like these completely out. I figured I needed a higher grit . Literally almost seemed like it would never come out . But I now know it can and will . Thanks brother. You do an awesome job with easily explaining everything 👏 I spend most of my efforts detailing cars. But want to make sure I get this process right as well . Obviously

    Great two parter HRP! Lots of knowledge gained for me on this one for evaluating extent of damage, age and condition of the lens and what sanding disk grit to start with. Not bad for having six Modelos under your belt.....another master class.

    My brother I absolutely love your videos. I am going to do my 2013 pathfinder this weekend. I noticed that you never do wet sanding. Is there a time when you recommend wet sanding?

  • @theheadlightrestorationpro

    @theheadlightrestorationpro

    As a matter of fact there is times when I recommend wet sanding per se in different areas in different specialty lights... Wet sanding as in general the whole headlight absolutely not because it is an inferior method that does not deliver enough heat which is essential for this clarity and some other aspects.. This video you watched is the part 2 version the next video is part one make sure to watch that I'll include the link.. Also watch this other one I'll link and it'll show some wet sanding on that as well and what areas you should be doing what sending in for safety and that's smooth perfect finish.. Thank you for the support I make these videos for people like you...👍🏽💯 kzread.info/dash/bejne/d3tnyLpyk9qvoto.htmlsi=qGYuQs8pSoCePRiY kzread.info/dash/bejne/goVqrZaAk5mvnso.htmlsi=GUzqf5szBV-iS8cS

    Another Excellent job Pro! I heard you mention about using p800 instead of p500 I have a 2022 Ford 250 on the headlight on the top foward facing there's a little section with some yellowing just on that top everything else on the headlight is flawless. Can I just tape off the rest of the light and just do that top to get that yellowing off and can I just start with the p800 and so on or do I need the p500 to start with?

  • @theheadlightrestorationpro

    @theheadlightrestorationpro

    Okay so with just that top part being fixed you can take it off and do it but I warn you it's very complicated even for a professional like me most professionals won't be able to land it correctly with it being seamless or funky looking I would advise you to do this because I'm pretty sure you're not an expert... Also on top of that if it was a normal vehicle it would be advised but it's a brand new vehicle and it's a Ford F-250 meaning those headlights are probably extremely hard I don't think a 500 will get it done which means you're into the realm of making a headlight much more difficult to fix once you surpass the 500 grit and abrasiveness.. so it's a complicated thing you have going on....

    Headlight Pro, seems like your biggest complaint with 2k coatings is they are not made for headlights. SprayMax SMT 3684068, 2K 2 in 1 Headlight Clear says it's made for headlights and is flexible. what are your thoughts? excellent channel by the way. learn something new with every video! thanks.

  • @theheadlightrestorationpro

    In my professional opinion and experience vast experience with this product it's the same exact product with a little tweak actually my biggest complaint with 2K clear spray Max is that it has a pop top anything that has that pop top where you need a hardener is bullshit... Weather is getting sprayed out of a gun with the mixture of hardener or in a can that hardener does things to the headlight which really fuc& it up... It's totally the same product.... This is one of the reasons why if you Google search 2K clear for headlights you will not find anything but this because it is not meant for headlights and they just tried to tweak something which really doesn't work.. also I suspect that it adversely affects light expenditure.. light escaping the headlight just as the other one does... Not everything clear can go on a headlight that's like saying everything paint is interchangeable Street curve pain can be used to paint a car or a house... Science doesn't work that way...
