- Zolpidem is used for short-term treatment of insomnia. It is rapidly absorbed from the gastrointestinal (GI) tract, and it has a rapid onset of action and short elimination half-life (about 2 to 3 hours). It provides a hypnotic effect for approximately 5 hours.

when pandemic started because I was not going to work, for the first time I found it hard to sleep... something that has never happened to me, I was given this but since I had never taken any drug I was supposed to take half a pill... one night I didnt realise I took the two parts, 1 pill... and I started hallucinating hahahaa it's funny now but the feeling was horrible, whenever I blinked I saw different scenarios, colors, animals, etc. my brain sent signals to throw up but since I hadn't eaten there was nothing to eliminate... the pill was so tiny it dissolved.... anyway, that was my experience with it.

@milakro I’ve never had any profound insight from ambien unlike other hallucinogens. But it’s like someone pressed the play button on all the pictures in my house. Like the newspapers in Harry Potter. I’m always surprised by how coherent the ambien hallucinations are like a photo of someone, their hair will dangle and they’ll move about very normally
Why have they changed the active ingredient from zolpidem tartare to zolpidem hemitatrate?

Zolpidem tartare is rapid onset , zolpidem hemitatrate is the extended release

@@raleighmason7211 I have taken a whole pack (30 pills ) and never got as high as half of the other stuff. Not high at all! So what's the deal? Are you sure about what are you saying?

10mg don't do shit and I was just prescribed. It's been over an hour. I'm popping another to for the love of God. If that don't work double to 4 until I sleep!
