Hi, thanks for your reaction. Igor Krutoy wrote the main melody years ago. At the beginning melody had no lyrics and Lara Fabian sung it as free vocalisation under Italian name “Ascolta la voce” meaning Listen to the voice. Now for Dimash this song got some lyrics and title Know (Znay or in Cyrillic letters- Знай) , but this his vocalisation that he did in middle of his concert in Kiev 2020 (starting and ending it with growling “Ascolta la voce” 🙂)

Bravo, you probably unknowingly chose one of the best versions of this song. This is the vocalise version of the song Знай. It means „Know“ in Russian and usually has lyrics. But not this version. I find there's something mesmerizing about the Vocalise. Every time he sings that, it sounds a little different. Incredibly beautiful and incredibly difficult to sing. The woman in the audience with the flowers is his mother. Perhaps you also want to react to the song with lyrics. OHHHHHH, how wonderful that you picked this one! If I had to pick an absolute favorite song of Dimash, which is incredibly hard to do, it would be this one. This is his vocalize version of his song "Know" which Igor wrote for him. I watch this video every single day because it literally gives me the biggest goosebumps! And you be right...the phone cover? I'm on my second one! lol! OH! And towards the end, his mother is sitting in the audience. In this same concert, he sang a song to her for Mother's Day called Marigolds. Please respond to that one. It will make you tear up, it's so beautiful. One of the most special things about Dimash is how much he loves and adores his family. Hello, greetings from Spain. This song is by Lara Fabian. She did it vocalized,vocal registers and techniques, they made a version for Dimash with lyrics "Know" there is a very beautiful MV. Ascolta la voce (sp?) is Italian for listen to the voice (approximately) and Dimash uses this usually when no lyrics are involved. You’re correct that this began with Igor (and Lara Fabian technically). There is a version of this melody with lyrics known as “Know” in English but usually the version without words is known as Vocalize. Completely spiritual piece of music with incredible interpretation and countermelodies. Cheers from Canada!
