I've found nothing that can beat the toughness of a zman. I've caught 30 large mouth on the same zman ned worm and it was still goin strong.

Been using the Shad fry a lot. Awesome lures and durable of course. They absolutely slip a lot and the tail wraps the hook if you’re not using the zman micro heads though.

I haven't tried these yet but they sound a lot like the Mr. Crappie Shadpole -- the little ball end on the tail gets tangled in the hook every few casts. Pretty annoying! Thanks as always for sharing!

DO NOT attempt to dye these baits with Spike-it. The material is very thin in the tail and the dye melts it. BOOM! Nicely dyed body, but no tail!
