I HATE this thing. It is irrelevant to me if 'it works'. Sure, if u find some schooled fish and have the right jig head, and jig it right, yes, you will catch something. It's an ugly booger, that should have never been approved for production, and I am sticking to that.

only carp and dink smallmouth. Under dresden dam, but probably even one more dam lower is better. Subsribe to Addicted Angler, he is fishing them under the dams all the time. Also Clinton lake has great white bass fishing in the winter. Find on the map where is the hot water discharge. U can park right there, there is plenty of cars. They catch them from the bank. Catch crappie there too

Nice trip. Freezing temps aren't nearly as bad when you're catching fish. Glad to see you're enjoying Tennessee.

i just did my rod buying guide, if that's what you are talking about. Another guide wont come until next thanksgiving. As for this rod, i reviewed a similar rod from abu garcia - the Barbatos, and i didn't like it, and I am not gona buy this rod. I don't like rods that don't have handle

I recently bough 76 soare xr for whitebass in Wisconsin. Now i almost bough the stella 2022 but decided to cancel it due to the weight. I just dont feel it will balance well on my jdm rods. Im on the fence on getting presso 2021, luvias or the zenon. I do have the 1000 zenon and presso 1000 and but wanted to get the 2000 version. Which one would you recommend of those 3 reels? I dont have the new luvias but i did have the airity and vanquish

for that rod stella is best. First of all this rod is not particularly ligh. Second of all, because it is so long, it balances well with heavier reels. And finally, white bass is heavier duty fights, and stella has stronger frame and stronger gears.

stella is only 165 grams for lightest model. U can put even 180 grams on the 7'6 Soare XR and will feel great. Now, if you are talking about the 6'0 Super Ultralight... that is different.. everything is different, the rod is lighter, and it is shorter, and everything is more finessy, so i wouldn't put the stella there, but on the 7'6 u just can't beat a stella

@@ifishcatfish i also have the soare xr 6 sul too. That rod has not arrive yet. I was thinking maybe i should wait for maybe daiwa presso ltd 2023? Or the vanquish 2023? If they are going to make it nxt year? Im hoping they do. Thank you for the input and great vids for whitebass.

If you are not using a Z-man micro finesse jig head, you need to use a spot of loctite glue at the head of the bait to keep it from sliding down

Livescope is for fishing, not for finding fish. U have to find the fish with side imaging and sometimes with your head. Once u see a group of fish with side imaging, then u can stop and fish them with livescope, see how deep they are and cast there. But you can't search for fish with livescope, its extremely slow and u will miss a lot of fish. On top of that, right now Nickajack is stacked with enormous shad, so everywhere u look, u see thick schools of big fish. Then u can waste hours trying to get them to bite, until u realize these are shad. I am actually trying to buy a newer side imaging unit right now... mine is 2015 model and they have much better image these days... For your trees, i would slowly drive between them with side imaging and see which of them has dots around it. Most trees are not going to have fish and it takes forever to check them all with livescope. But once u find fish around some tree, then u can stop, point livescope to that tree, and see how deep they are, how big and cast right there.

Absolutely. But even their bass lures are always a little strange. There is someone in that company that has some weird taste.
