When I built planes I sheetfed them the same way as you Andy. Never had a problem. It's my preferred way of doing the sheeting. I wish I lived closer so we could build together. Oh well.

Looking good! I just maidened my P47 CARF. Perfect 3 flights. Powered by a DLE 220. Will bring to flyins next year. Keep building. I just started my Pica P51

I love your explanation of sheeting the wing. I’m going to do my next one like that. I’ve done so many butt joining all of the sheets and hoping the all make perfect contact to the ribs and spars. Don’t think they ever do.
