I have to agree with you guys, if Zirkzee’s agent is not willing to lower the commission demands then management needs to walk away. They need to focus on getting deals with other players over the line.

Great show guys ….I think it’s fair to grow impatient this early in the summer because like you guys mentioned, Milan is not expected to sign 5-7 players at the 15-25m range. Milan is rumored and expected by fans this summer to get 2-3 players for a higher price. All those high priced players seem to not be highly likely right now and don’t usually happen “under the radar”

Kia was in Milano today, so hopefully we get some good news shortly.

I can agree that if Zirkzees agent doesnt lower we move on. These Euro’s and Copa America are opening up some great players in different places and its opened up the market

I think Royal was good at Betis and downhill from there, maybe if he arrives, it's because Milan thinks he can reignite his career like Pulisic did. I would get a more exciting RB, but if he comes, for less than 20M, maybe Milan/Fonseca sees something.

Great podcast gentlemen. On the Zirkzee transfer saga, I don’t think we can believe everything we hear in the media. I think Milan and Ibra already have this deal wrapped up. Guirassy and most of other strikers we were linked to was before they chose Fonseca as the coach. Now that he’s the coach our targeted players has changed a bit. So we have to stay calm. I trust this management more than Maldini and Massara because they did a better job last season since Elliott took over the club. As for Emerson Royal, he’s a good player and better than Calabria. You have to look at Royal’s time at Real Betis. He had a bad season at Tottenham. A lot of players especially Brazilians struggle in the premier league. Pulisic was very good at Dortmund but struggled at Chelsea. So Royal time at Tottenham shouldn’t be judged too harshly.

Sadly, I’m not even sure that in this market $55m is necessarily an insane price for a player of JZ’s potential. We just don’t have the resources/management willingness to spend the kind of money needed to buy players who can help us compete in Italy and Europe. We are destined to be mediocre for the medium term - it is what it is.

So the striker options that we have on our plate are no one. What I feel is the management will utilize Jovic in a way; the same for Okafor. Both these players under Pioli did not get enough chances to actually make an impact, but now they can grow confidence as they play game after game if Fonseca is willing to re-launch them this season. Now some strikers are still in the market. The best signing without breaking the bank would be Memphis Depay because he is a free agent. Other than that there is Jimenez who is tagged under the 50-55 mil mark. On the other hand in terms of a midfielder, I am pretty sure Fofana will arrive after euros. I agree E. Royal is not really an upgrade from Calabria. Also, Calabria knows the game quite better. The CB position is very tricky! No clear indication of any specific target. I think Kalulu and Thiaw would prefer to stay in Milan. But Kephran Thuram to Juve is very obvious! But I think the management will make signings but they are just wasting time on Zirkzee!
