For 400 years, Zildjian has honed their craft, delivering cymbals to the farthest reaches of the globe, traversing immeasurable tonal territory. With their K Paper Thin series of crash cymbals, they’ve designed the thinnest, largest crashes in their four-century history. Unfathomably smooth stick feel meets dark, explosive character, rich in overtones and quick to decay. Frankly, you need to hear them for yourself, and who better than Nick D’Virgilio to put these 400 year-long forges to the test. Take a listen!

Perfect man for the job.
They sound amazing
These have got to be the nicest sounding cymbals I’ve ever heard
Reminds me of the Meinl Buzance Extra Thin Hammered Crashes; I have the 20” personally. Love the papery thin bright sound!

I have both, the K paper thin are cleaner whereas the Meinl are a little trashier. I would compare the Meinl ETH crashes more to the K Cluster crashes.
Thin cymbals in general sound amazing because much less forced is required to get a full sound from them. And then combine that with Zildjian’s K line and yoooo 😮💨
Im not a drummer but these sound almost perfect
The 20 sounds best to me - that thing is awesome
Beautiful, smooth decay sounds! Really musical.
Some very distinctive tones! Something I don't get to hear very often. Very nice indeed. And a great video too, thanks for sharing 🤘
to my ears they sound amazing when they are played 'softer'...
The 19 and 21 are really unbelievable tasty
Holy smokes, somebody did a cymbal demo with nylon tips 🤯😂 Go, Nick. Nice crispy cymbals, too.
Great. I’ve just got the K Sweet series kit. One of these would be the perfect complement. Thanks. Love to see and hear Nick again. 😎👍
I love my legacy crashes but one of these, the bigger ones would be fun to have
Makes me want to be a drummer
WOW! My kind of cymbals! Yeah, I gotta some of these in set up, 18", 19" and 20" crashes could be what I went for, great demo of these crashes from the energetic Nick.
amazing demonstration!
Great review Nick
Sounds gooood
Those sound incredible good🔥🔥🔥
Speechless. Sublime.
🎶 now that we found love, what are we going to do with it? 🎶 When he does the tonal crashes that song immediately came to mind.
😎 great demo
I’ve got the 22 inch crash and it’s my favorite cymbal!
i thought Istanbul Agop 22” crashes sounded good, but these sounds amazing. I love how these have a prominent but brief shimmer, but also have a very prominent dark musicality to it. I love the smokiness that the 22” possess as well - these cymbals might make me jump ship to Zildjian
these things so sooooo good
The 21 sounds really beautiful as a high pitch ride.
These are the best new cymbals that Zildjian could have come up with for 2023. 😜👍
Oh boy. If they've just made them also In brilliant finish they would of been the cherry on top the cake. I'm a brilliant finish cymbal lover. They sound awesome though
Belle présentations pour avoir la 18 et la 19 en crash vraiment satisfait de zildjian
Avec ses nouvelles cymbales, Zildjian vient de frapper un méchant coup de circuit
Oh man those sound soo gooood! On every demo ive looked at they seem to sound really well balanced. Would be interested to see how they respond in person. P.S: what hihat's are those Nick 👀👀👀👀👀 they look and sound sweeeeet
I describe the A line as shrill. They will cut through marshall stacks though. I've been using the K series and love them. Definitely need overheads to mix well with powerful guitar amps.

I describe them as glassy
Great timbre but they really do lack body. These would be good when you want cymbals but don't want them to get in the way (audiological).
I am currently using a Paiste PST7 19 inch thin crash as a ride or crash depending on the gig. These K ones sound really good. Really, really good. I liked the 19 and 22 the most, but they all sound amazing.
Lovely pies! They make me think of slightly dirtier/darker HHX Evolution Crashes. These prices though... 😱
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
It would be great if ZILDJIAN made Paper Thin HI HATS again! I have one but it's from the 1960s.
It takes less material to make thinner cymbals yet the prices are going to be pretty high I see.I ordered a regular 22 K ride been dying to get one for years and that was way to washy I was very bummed because my Regular 20 K ride is perfect so I thought the 22 would be as well. With that said other than the K sweet line I'm pretty much done with Ks ,but these do sound nice gotta admit .
Dude sweet, but yall need to get the Korina flying vs back in stock, left handed models if possible please. May peace be upon you all

You should probably call your sale engineer for guitar and ask them...

@@jas_bataille fair enough. Unfortunately I cannot recall who that is or even their number to contact. Much obliged though!
These could be very useful to make a kind of a "wall of sound". They look and sound gorgeous. 🤩🤩🤩

Fancy stuff!!! I wish I was made of money
Which snare is that?
Well Dayuuum!!! I knew they’d sound spectacular!!! Just like I know I’ll have to turn some tricks to be able to afford them!! F! ME!!!
... and there goes another 3 grand. Lol.

Worth it 🤑
Im torn... ive been eyeballing the K Sweets and they seem very versatile but these! Im a prog rock/metal drummer and i also play some jazz fusion. Anyone have any opinions/preferences between the sweets and the paper thins?

Probably go with mostly Sweets but get yourself at least one of these!

@hiptoalieu Thanks for the recommendation! see I was thinking the exact opposite but your suggestion totally makes sense, thanks again!

if you want 18-20" crashes, i’d suggest the K Sweets. if you want larger cymbals, probably the K Paper Thins because they’re the only 21 and 22 inch crashes Zildjian offers
Shame zildjian discontinued the k brilliants....
Which model is the hihat?
@net6403

15” k constantinople
Sound awesome, but I think for metal or punk they are not durable enough in the long run, right?
@pinbackstack

as long as they aren’t positioned completely flat and are tilted towards you, they’ll be just fine
These are the nicest Zildjians that aren’t Constantinoples
