Zero Voltage Switching (ZVS) driver

Hello, i want to share with you some nice arcs with my flyback transformer driven by a very simple ZVS driver. It is capable of drawing pretty nasty arcs, about 10+ cm in length. The voltage of the secondary is approximately about 20kV. I built this driver as a power supply for a 20 stage Marx's generator, if it will work as expected, i will post a video:)

Don't use wood as an arc stick. Use pvc.

A great recommendation. I wasn't really afraid of it being a problem as the wood was totally dry and i also covered the handle with many layers of insulating tape. I was also wearing gloves :D But you're right, pvc would be a much safer choice.
