interesting thank you! would like to know how you got on with that other module if you did end up using or testing it. have you had any further experience with chinese "fake" power modules?

Thank you! I still have those FF1000R17 IGBTs, they will be used in a high power Tesla coil this summer. The other BSM100GB120 module is probably somewhere in my garage collecting dust haha. Thankfully I didn't have any further experience with fake transistors, as I am not buying transistors from Chinese ebay vendors anymore. I actually do not use ebay any more at all, but if I ever used it, I would make sure to look for EU/USA sellers.
