ZERO LOSS OPTION STRATEGY (GUARANTEED PROFIT)? | EP. 105

Let's talk about no risk option trades/no loss option trading strategies on Robinhood. Today I will talk about the most common question I get all the time by showing you what looks to be a zero loss option strategy on Robinhood. Please understand the risks involved with options trading before you begin trading options.

My advice to new investors: Buy good companies stocks and hold them as long as they are good companies. Just do this and ignore the forecasts and market views which are at best entertaining but completely useless

This also seems to be very profitable on futures contracts and futures options if you buy or sell the underlying and then buy or sell a synthetic future using options to lock in a guaranteed profit. What is your experience?

What if you bought each option individually, you sell 2 strikes at $25 and fill it then you then you buy one 1 at 24.50 and fill it then you buy one 25.50 and fill it. You have authorization for naked calls and have portfolio margin or is there a recognition function once all your filled? Or you sell 2 on one broker acct, buy 1 at another broker and buy a 3rd at another broker. But other brokers may have high commission so have 3 robin hood accounts with 3 different people working together?

Thank you. Would you mind to follow-up on the risks of placing each trade separately? This is, first selling the calls and then buying the calls (or viceversa). I image (1) maybe same low likelihood of no finding someone at the other side in one of the trades and (2) less profitable since you will be required to have a collateral to avoid naked calls.

  • @MGmirkin

Was wondering exactly the same thing... If they won't let you do it as a single trade, would they let you do it as individual trades? If so, what's the difference? Is there non-zero risk there, whereas doing them as a single trade would be zero-risk [but nobody would take it and guarantee themselves a loss]? If so what is the risk, what could go wrong, and can the risks in such a strategy be minimized or eliminated, thus making money machine go brrrrr? Likewise, if a single platform won't let you enter them all individually, could you split them up between different platforms, say, entering one portion on Robinhood, another on e*trade, and another on Chase, or some other platform? One platform, presumably wouldn't know what you're doing on your other platforms. Would this be a kind of "options arbitrage," or some such, taking advantage of multiple platforms, where the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing?

  • @Iamwrongbut

If you’re gonna sell calls, buy the calls first. Then you don’t need collateral to offset the sells because the calls you bought offset them. Whenever buying legs you should always get the buys first, then the sells

It doesn't work.. I tried it. Here's why : . The timings matter as the price changes, even if you use A.I. for fast trades.. Your broker is putting your trade on your behalf ,the ask and bid changes in seconds. Your brokers always behind in placing trades. . Even if your a direct broker it's extremely hard to get this done .qote 1 info monitors your trade as well. . There's always the ask and bid issue that changes your p and l . I've lost more money doing this than normal trades. . Let's say by some miracle you pull it of, which never happens. The SEC, here the SEBi ( for us) has sophisticated monotorin systems they'll be onto you before you could pull of the second trade. . There was this one trader who used to do this and he got caught in the 4 th trade, he got arrested and their monitoring system is much advanced than before And besides if this was true.. Ask yourself, from hedge fund managers to retail traders would all been rich by now . I've lost all my money doing this , even took a loan..

Apparently they require people to have some level of "experience" to do level 3 trading. Though, honestly, in your questionnaire, couldn't you just lie and say you have more experience than you actually do, and just get approved for L3 trades anyway, if you answer their questions "correctly" [not sure what the magic combination is]? **Shrug**

Why would someone be on the opposite side of this trade if they know they would be losing no matter what. This video doesn’t make any sense.

He (Guillermo) also always starts with a “Here’s a trade from our Discord group”. That trade being totally a come-on money-maker to entice you to join his $7 a month Discord group with him making $40k a month for doing very little but make these clip-bait videos and a little option trading

This is not a zero loss trade. There is no such thing. At expiration, if HAL is at 25, then the one short option with the strike of 24.5 will be in the money for 50 cents and then you would essentially lose 50 cents. The only way this would become a zero loss trade is if the credit you receive at the time of entry is over 50 cents. It is apparent that you are taping this video at the time when the markets are closed and the numbers are static. It is possible that the 79 cent credit that you see here is not a real number and once the market opens, this would self correct. When the markets are open and active, even if you see such credits and place the order, the order would never get filled.

I have been into options trading for quite a while now, and I must say it really goes with loss without the right approach and strategy. I have gotten to the point where I understand these. My utmost gratitude goes to Andrew Obin for his amazing Master class strategy. I must say it has given me a stable, balanced and trustworthy platform to carry out my trade, hence giving me the opportunity to take maximum advantage of the market.

Wow, you also trade with him?, I never thought I could find a genuine trader in this world after I lost all i had in the intention that I want to be free, then I got no hope. I lost interest in it, but surprisingly i came across Andrew Obin, He explained to me and gave me a bit trust and I decided to try once more, I received my first withdrawal a couple of weeks ago with his assistance. What more can i do than to thank him and reciprocate this love.
