They're both really good in this, but I think I'd give the dance off to him just because between the jump and the splits he had a dance where men can really show off, and he showed off properly. Most other dances, men kind of showcase the women. When he was given the spotlight, he took it.

And I’m sure it’s quite unusual to dance in sneakers too, they’re bulky and especially with such a light weight dance, I can imagine them weighing her down and could possibly make her look a bit heavy footed and clumsy

Wearing those "heels" during dancing is common, those are shoes made especially for dancing. Often it's even easier and more comfortable to dance in those than in other shoes, doesn't matter if Latin or Standard

Through The Looking Glass it wasn't an insult against her. But everyone should have known she would have killed this. I'm just giving the other guy some credit because he did a very good job. And even though she's a hip hop dancer, being any type of dancer gives you a little bit of a head start. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind people being brought in the show that have dance backgrounds, but even though she's not a ballroom dancer, she has a slight advantage.

No you see they are light switches. They have to hate something to like something else. So they came here because KZread feed them Zendaya videos but they never saw her on the show. So the dummies down the professional and lift her up to show support. They don't know anything else. They are too basic to realize she was dancing against the guy or that Karina, who is a multi-winner and a top tier world class dancer, was not her competitor.

So what? Fact is that if you look at the 2nd woman, you'll see she has a longer torso and shorter legs than Z, so wearing heels makes her legs look longer (and therefore better). I know what I"m talking about. I, too, have always had a LONG torso (and small waist), BUT my legs are an inch or two shorter than they'd look their best at. And, yes, I wore heels pretty much all the time because of that.

I'm in love with the fact that Zendaya danced in sneakers!!! I danced international Latin for years in heels and having flat feet made it very hard! Now after having taken a long break from Latin, it's hard to get used to heels again, but she shows that it's still possible to dance it gorgeously with sneakers!! AH LOVE IT!
