Zelensky is such a "special child" - he takes much longer time to read between the lines and learn the basics. His naivety led him to assume that US & NATO are coming rushing for war to help him. But it is not too late yet, given the fact that Zelensky has finally recognized the reality of the situation. Being a neutral country is more viable option for Ukrain economically and on security wise.

Zelensky got a nerve. He could end this now by dropping Ukrainian ambitions to join Nato (who doesnt want Ukraine to join anyway!!!) but instead he attacks west for not initiating WW3 by enforcing a no fly zone. @@josefelfinito6925 he is a hero who made an error in judgement. In the face of war and bombs he stood his ground knowing it's significance for the frightened citizens. He made many mistakes but he is a hero for not fleeing the country from foreign invaders when there are examples of leaders running and hiding from their own country men.

Ukraine government aligning with NATO (and in bed with Neo-Nazi ideology) is not in the best interests of Ukrainians. Ukraine had many opportunities to strongly declare (demand under international law) their sovereignty and right to remain as a sovereign neutral state (kind of like a welcomed buffer zone between the crazies of the world). Russia would have been happy with a neutral state, and would have supported them. The EU would have also assisted. Any rational country would have supported peace and been very helpful to Ukraine. But, unfortunately NATO would never be satisfied with Ukraine (or the EU) having any true sovereignty. They want to fight all the way to Russia's front yard, using and sacrificing the Ukrainians to do their dirty work. It`s the "either with us or against us" mentality. They do not negotiate. They only dictate.

And that is absolutely what Putin and Russia really wanted them to do. Russia is worried about the NATO expansion of territories. These countries were even part of the USSR or Russia that has been turning into a big threat to RUSSIA's own security concern at present. We can not blame Putin on this matter and I do understand why Russian troops despite having an order to invade Ukraine still very careful in their move, making sure to have lesser casualties from both sides. I can see how Russian troops handled the war and they are so careful and hesitant to attack non essential/necessary targets. Unlike on how the US attacked those countries they have invaded before.

Britain did not promise poland help, Britain and France told Germany , they would go to war if Germany iinvaded Poland. You are correct in saying that. The outcome will be worst than you expected. Do you think that economic sanctions will only affect Russians, I don't think so. The whole world will be affected and every people will suffer by the wrong decision that the Leaders of the West, EU and NATO would make. Most likely America will not suffer a lot because they have their own Oil and Gas production. USA is also shifting for renewable energy. Which price will sky rocket in the coming months.

To think that you can only have prosperity and security if you join EU and NATO is wrong. Being neutral I believe is way better. Any country who tries to invade a neutral country can never play the "strategic security" card, in contrast to what Russia is doing right now.

Who is Russia to dictate wether a sovereign nation should remain neutral or not. Ukraine declared their independence from Soviet Union in 1991. The fact is that Putin never wanted to recognize it. Should that be Ukraine problem? Let's say for argument sake that Mexico was a more powerful nation than the USA, and they decide that no USA is not an independent country anymore a therefore part of Mexico.
