We could say the same of the USA no? How many "sovereign" states has the US and Europe invaded & colonized? How many backyards are they in? Russia wanted Ukraine as a NEUTRAL COUNTRY between US & Russia. Sounds like a good plan NO? But no, US didnt want Russia in Nato, nor a neutral country between them. There are powerful nuclear states and your so called "sovereign" weak countries that get invaded. We all know Ukraine has no say on the world stage, just like all the other countries in the world. Zelensky is the right man on the right place at the right time. Every country should have a leader like him. To compare him to Roosevelt or Churchill would be wrong, Roosevelt and Churchil wanted war so they did everything go in to a war, but Zelensky fights for peace and freedom and he and the people of Ukraines fights for the freedom for the entire world. Reagan was a mediocre actor and not really a great president either, but Zelensky was/is a great actor and even a great President. Best politician in the world and in the history too.

I would have wanted to hear a little bit more of the 2 regions occupied since 2014 and the choices those people, being occupied, have been forced to make the past 9 years... what is 'collaborating' exactly in Kiev's views?... NATO should give a stern warning to the Ukranians about any post conflict retaliation on civilians... CNN isn't doing anyone any service with softcore idiolatry interviews. The risks' Zelenski had to take just to do this interview, while having an FSB target on his back, warrents a more substantial interview.

@@mykeh3155 you’re right in that forgiveness and justice are not connected, also that forgiveness is a personal feeling. BUT I think it goes further. Forgiveness being more practical than a feeling and completely opposed to justice. I think full forgiveness is voiding all deserving punishment and consequences in turn supersedes justice. IMO it’s a tangible act more than a personal coping mechanism. But it’s hard because justice is so important. I mean we can’t have forgiven serial killers running lose, lol. Maybe theres a measurable effectiveness in full forgiveness though. Im a shockingly aggressive driver, losing my licence many times but my last road rage incident was really bad and thought I’d lose my licence for sure, for some reason the cop let me off, I burst into tears and have followed the speed limits since. Lol

A lot of leaders could learn from Volodymyr what a good leader and person is for his people and country .👏

He is an incredibly brave person. His face gave it all away when the interviewer started to ask the question of loss. The Ukrainian nation deserves out unrelenting support now and for the next 50 years. A new Marshall Plan (the US led rebuilding of Europe after WW2) needs to be created and implemented immediately. Set up an aerial shield across the entire Ukrainian frontier and give Ukraine the ability to strike 300 km into Russia. Everywhere.
