What people don’t understand is just how hard the clapping the saxophones are doing at the beginning is. They’re all clapping different rhythms and they are right next to each other with nothing to block out the others. As a percussionist I applaud you 3

As another fellow sax player, I think I can piece together how they’re able to do it. Obviously nothing short of sheer mental focus, but I believe that the two are just switching off eighth beats (to account for the two sixteenth beats of clapping), which just leaves the last sax player. I feel he’s the most important of the three because he’s got the easiest beat to follow, which the drummer follows up with, which will only help keep the other two sax playing clappers in line. Totally speculation, and I also believe that there’s a fair amount of faith placed in each other that they’re not going to screw up 😂

Yeah I was pretty impressed by that, they lost it a little at the end but they made it harder for themselves by going for more bars than necessary on the claps.
That's one killer sax section

My favorite part is during the sax solo where the guy on the left is shaking his head and on the guy on the right is nodding XD But for real, you know it's good when the musicians are really into it. This a fabulous twist on a beautiful song!

Disagree, intonation is off especially in the intro just before 0:09. Trombones have different articulation/ not in sync. After the first section everything blends better. Nice arrangement though!

"Should we hire percussionists" Sax section:"hold my beer"
This goes so fucking hard omg
I can totally see this kind of jazzy twist on Gerudo Valley in the next Mario Kart game, if Nintendo puts Gerudo Valley as a course. Super awesome! 👏👏👏
This is awesome. I just had a thought, you have to do Cowboy Bebop.

This sounds like it could be in Mario Kart 8.
I love this piece so much! The transitions and how they compose the "solos" is so perfect! Need more music like this.
gotta be honest,at first i was like "meh" but then from 1:10 it was "HOT DIGGITY DOG,THIS IS AWESOME!"
Thank you for this amazing interpretation, one of the beautiful Zelda's tracks, so nostalgic when I listen to it
Badass!!!!!!!!!!!!! Love love love this
Hell yeah! FANTASTIC! good stuff man them bones, saxes, and rhythm sections!

Sounds like something you would hear in a really fancy cruise wow! 10/10
this is incredible my dudes 👌👌👌 rock on!!!
Everyone in this video needs to keep making music, this is a beautiful arrangement performed extremely well! Keep it up!
I like how the bass is feeling it mad hard too
this is amazing, thank you so much for uploading!
It's sad to think that people today won't really play Ocarina Of Time a lot anymore. The wonderful game will be buried in age. It will be outshined by newer Zelda games, and just newer games in general. But OOT will forever be the best game made, in my opinion. Here's to hoping that Nintendo makes a remaster of it for the Switch.

I know nobody asked but I personally like Twilight Princess, Skyward Sword, and Link Between Worlds. It’s kinda like they’re not overrated or underrated, just in the middle. I do hope more ppl play them tho, I know SS can be sucky because of motion controls but the soundtrack and the kiddish Nintendo feel is golden.
This is amazing
How have I only just now found this channel??? All of their stuff sounds amazing!
The best arrangement I have ever heard of this song.
Damn this deserves waaay more attention! As an alto sax player myself, I really admire this group, especially the alto solo! :D
0:22 when your drummer is sick
WHAT!!??? THIS IS THE MOST AWESOME THING I HAVE HEARD IN A LONG TIME!! I LOVED IT!!! CONGRATULATIONS!! REALLY!!
Thats AWESOME
Love the arrangement. Great sound overall. Those sax solis are tight!
It's... beautiful.

the slap of a century
This was a great arrangement and it fits perfectly in kinda a jazz fusion style which I loved ! And believe it or not my favorite part was the new and improvised parts because while everyone else says it didn’t sound like the source material I find the original theme a little boring after a hour or so but this arrangement just fills the OG with a punch that really makes it sound awesome. Also I can see what this arrangement is and what it’s trying to do since I’m not nostalgia blind like everyone else :))
I wish you made more of these!
OMG!!! YA BROUGHT TEARS TO MY EYES... HAIL N64!!! HAIL 90'S!!! GOD BLESS ALL OF YOU AND YOUR TALENTS!!! THANK YOU SOO MUCH FOR THIS!
Damn this is funky
Damn that alto solo was wild!
Please do more ❤
The Sax’s that kick in at 1:44 are utterly satisfying
That groove was immaculate
Congrats team!
Instantly clicked like when I saw how much enthusiasm went into the clapping.
Gerudo Valley theme is my fav. in Ocarina of Time. It's cool to hear it being played like this
This is my kind of music🎵📢
