As a dispensary worker there is no "safe" carts or flower anymore. All of them use chemicals and enhancements to make the thc % higher. The only way to make sure your not smoking chemicals is to grow it yourself.

I feel like the comparison of carts to flower is easily explained by saying cart highs are sudden on/off when you’re hitting them, flower is more come up/come down

I just bought an empty re-fillable cart from a vape shop and filled it with some full spectrum hash oil from my local dispo. Best decision I ever made! I got a full gram of hash oil for cheaper than a 1g cart, and it is some high quality hash oil. It comes in a syringe and I filled the cart up with it. And it got me higher than any pre-filled cart I've hit recently. I'd recommend it.

dude idk how you missed this but the only way to get distillate inside of a cart... is to open it. a lot of carts that are sold are made by people and not machines (unless it's a dispensary or huge business). you use a syringe to get the distillate inside after taking the mouthpiece off. if a cart isn't completely full and only has a tiny bit missing - it's unlikely someone smoked it previously ( unless a shit ton is gone ), it just means it wasn't completely filled (which isn't a red flag). also, if the mouthpiece is loose that's not necessarily a red flag, just means the person selling it didn't secure it properly. now i'm not saying to not pay attention to these things, because paired with other things they could be a red flag - but let's not completely discredit the cart bc of manufacturer mistake lol

To add on, these machines cost thousands of dollars. There are companies like “cake” that can afford them. And their oil is terrible, so in my opinion you should know the actual source its coming from and you’re good. You’re very informative and right on what you said though!

@@BigBoinks not necessarily, carts on the street usually go from 25-40$ depending where u live, carts in the dispensaries are like 15$ a pop and sometimes even cheaper with deals I’ve seen like 15 for 100$ before, and bud is pretty cheap too, I get 79$ ounces and they’re fire, defintely would go for like 150-200$ on the street

To be honest I felt like carts were better 2018-2020. The oil quality looked better and definitely tasted better and felt stronger (though that part is prolly just tolerance). I remember the good yellow distillate had a somewhat green tint and was super clear (I remember this most from Select carts), and the distillate even kinda tasted like weed a lil bit. Now they all have that pine taste, nothing like weed, and even the live resin doesn’t taste the same. Carts are dying, they haven’t been the same ever since the vaping illness crisis, people have moved onto disposables

I don’t think they’ve gotten worse in quality over the years.. If anything, cannabis itself and their methods of extracting have only gotten better along with the actual carts/batteries getting better with CCELL, AVD carts that don’t add heavy metals in your oil like old or modern cheap cartridges did/do.

I was scootering to my gym at my college and I swear to god I found a medical grade cart w the battery that was 90% full. I looked that shit up and it was $95 from the dispensary. Safe to say that jawn got us all faded for a month straight. Even crazier is that wasn’t the first cart me or my friend found that were legit.

Carts not being filled to the top is normal, usually a little bit will seep into the coils. Theyre usually always not always full even from the dispensary, that’s the only place I get mine and they are almost never completely full
