I just found Zartan today at Target on the peg, he was the only Joe there, and I grabbed him without hesitation... It felt like striking gold, considering Target feels like a Soviet grocery store at the height of the cold war, when it comes to Joes. This is the only GI Joe Classified figure I have, and to be honest, the only one I feel like I need. I'm more a vintage collector (with the exception of the MOTU Origins line), but when I saw this version of Zartan, I knew I had to have him. Out of every Classified Joe I've seen so far, he is by far my favorite, and I'm so happy there are no issues with loose joints like I've heard about with some previous figures. I don't plan on really getting into the Classified line, as my focus is on MOTU Origins, so if this is the only Joe I get, I'm very happy.

The back of the packaging looks like an epic movie poster, I think it’d be really cool to blow the pic up and frame it

Agreed. If that was the poster for GI Joe 3 it'd make opening weekend bank off that poster alone lol

Can not wait for my pre order of Zartan to arrive. I think they may well do a deluxe version at some point with either colour changing, a swamp skier or with extra disguises.

Zartan is probably my favorite so far from the Joes as well. Can’t wait for the rest of the Dreadnoks. His pinless joints really put that extra “umph” into it ya know? Dope review, just purchased some stands off ringside. Good looking out!

Thank you for this kind of review! I'm getting so tired of seeing these toy reviewers complain about paint apps and articulation and this that and the other. We're adult collectors because these things remind us of our childhood. This is the excitement that I feel when I open a figure. All it"s really going to do is sit on the shelf. I'm not 12 years old, I'm not going to sit there and play with it for hours upon hours a day. I may do it a little bit, but then it gets put on a shelf posed with other figures that remind me of my childhood. Which is why I bought the damn thing in the first place! The only purpose of these things are really to take you back to a better time in your life. Yes you want quality for how much they're charging now as opposed to the days when they had only five points of articulation. But to constantly whine... The happiest I think I've ever been opening some figures? Was the time I opened up the figures from mad magazine. Alfred E Newman! In the Just Us line. At the time I was dating a girl and she wanted to helo and open some, that I was unboxing that day. She was so excited she had goosebumps at the end of it. When we started she had none and no expectations. She said "it was like opening up her childhood." Now she knew why I was always so enamored by my collection and had such a big collection. This is the kind of review we need to see more of! Thank you once again..

Man I was so disappointed last week for no reason my zartan pre-order from gamestop was cancelled! I had to pre order one from big bad toy store, can't wait to get this figure.

This figure is absolutely awesome, but you're definitely thinking of a Simpsons episode with the monkey's paw.

Great review! What do you think of the "invisipin" technology? (Elbow and knee joints) It's my favorite figure in the line so far (along with Destro). I love it so much, I ordered a 1/12 scale Harley Davidson for him too. I plan on getting a bike for each Dreadnok they release.

You could try to use the extra Hoth Rebel face for an extra disguise! I'm definitely going to pick up this guy if I find him

Target is such a mess on these joes. I went on the drop day nothing. Never seen any after. I assume people got them all at some point. I was kinda over the hassle of getting them. I have the next wave on pre order. Will pick this Zartan up long game maybe haha.

I don’t know of any target that has gotten them just Walgreens so far but Big bad toy store is worth it for the joes

@@KylePeterson1980 I checked walgreens and nothing, but I did not know this wave of joes would hit there. I have got joes there before though. Just went and ordered on bbts. Thought pre orders on them were sold out. Maybe they show before end of year haha.

@@RCPropaganda. It may cost you a couple dollars more but I would say it’s pretty smart move ordering online save your time and gas

Taken as a whole I think Hasbro did a great job with the figure....though I can't help but wish he had the color changing gimmick of the original figure. But I guess that type of thing is no longer that popular.
