@@user-iy1qf6fq9w From Sarah Kuhn's Ask a Director: "There is a great story reflecting this about Alfred Lunt and Lynn Fontanne. There was a moment in a play where Alfred got a huge laugh by responding to the question "Would you like coffee or tea?" The situation provided him with a huge laugh when he simply answered, "I'd like a cup of tea, please. Very hot." After several weeks, the laugh disappeared almost completely. Alfred, of course, despaired and asked Lynn what she thought the problem was. She replied, "Alfred, dear, you are no longer asking for the tea, you are asking for the laugh." " Frank asked for the tea. Ahmet asks for the laugh.
