Aww lovely to hear Charles. Pur Tigger has really settled in now and is a lovely little lad. He's become really affectionate recently and loves his cuddles now.

Sometimes, if you fall in love with a timid dog, the unexpected answer is to ask an experienced volunteer to tell you which dog is the timid dogs best friend. If you adopt BOTH, the best friend will be a huge calming effect on the stressed and frightened dog. It really is remarkable how taking on a best friend of a really traumatised dog can really help the other dog function and finally blossom. It is best to take the dog that is the best friend of the dog you want. Picking just a second dog may mean you adopt a dog that might bully yours. You really have to ask about who is the special friend.

Oh I know, we could've taken at least 50 of them home, they absolutely break your heart.

Often, if you are wanting an easy adoption, it is best to go with middle aged or elderly dog. They are much quieter, much less demanding. Also, if you feel you can only guarantee you will have a home suiting a dog for maximum of a decade, adopt an older dog. Or foster to help save a dog. Short or long term.

Oh my god, that is absolutely adorable. So much fun to see the origins of Tigger :D

We was on zakynthos in May and didn't get the time to visit Zante strays, we a talking about taking a week next month down to visit them, can i see opening times for the shelter anywhere? Thanks for your awesome video series love Zakynthos ❤️

I think they are open from 8 or 9 in the morning til 12pm. I think the hours may be on one of the signs in our video. Have a look at their Facebook page too, they may be on there.

Lovely video. Black dogs have least chance of getting home of any other healthy dog. World wide. Same with black cats. Incredibly sad.
