Great 1st episode..we were there similar time as you. We ate at the Melon bar 4 times (on your recommendation) and it didn't disappoint!! Told Claude we were there because of you!! Great guy!! Looking forward to the next vlog!!

Yeah, Claude is now a very good friend of ours and is the main reason we now go back to Kalamaki, to see him. This time round was lovely as he tried to spend time with us away from Melon Bar, which was lovely of him.

Aww thank you Sanchez, glad you appreciate our content. You'd definitely love the Hotel Macedonia in that case, probably the closest accommodation to the runway. We'd have no hesitation staying there again.

Gutted that we are not going this year.. But I have this to watch instead.. 😂 Is it just us or when you get off the plane in Zante you feel like you’re home somehow 🤣

We actually said that same thing when we were back in Melon Bar, its bizarre. Never actually associated any place like a second home but when we stay in Kalamaki, although it's a holiday destination I do get a feeling for the village life there for some reason. I think its the local kids hanging about the street with their mates, bit not causing any bother, which is nice to see.

We are off to Kalamaki in August we go every year we love it.x

We are actually back home now, we were there in early May for 11 nights. We chose it as it was one of the cheapest and best deals about at that time. Was a really nice place to stay.

Good video, the hotel rooms are too basic for me. No doubt value for money. I prefer Cystal Beach or the Meandross. But a different price point.

Thanks Glenn. To be honest we hardly spend any of our time in the room anyway, so would be pointless for us to spend a lot of money on something we'd only be getting showered, changed and sleep. As long as its clean and facilities are half decent, that's all we need.

There'll be a few out before you go then. Yeah, we like to give prices in the more popular currencies for ideas of conversion rates. I use the Revolut app to get the rates as its as up to date as you can get.

Yeah slowly being introduced in some airports. Not many overseas have them yet so have a clart on with taking stuff fout of hand luggage etc.

Didn’t think much to the room at Macedonia or shower,am at louros beach next week alway been at Ionian blue before

It was fine for what we needed it for. We hardly spend that much time in the room anyway so it's fine for us. Clean and comfortable.
