Because it felt like every aspect about hajj ceremony was about rock worship & I discovered the god of Islam was actually different from the Old Testament One True Universal God of Life, which automatically meant Mohammed was a false prophet, and Quran was not holy nor authorized, nor did it have the same flow of continuous theme that's evident in Bible, but was justifying very hard to force a some man & his beliefs on others, with the sword, in the name of a pagan idol.

The Jews were monotheistic and remain so: Yehovah God is a Trinity of Father, Son & Holy Spirit, but still one God. The concept of Yehovah God being three-in-ONE unity has its roots in foundational Judaism and in the Hebrew Scriptures. Even the concept of the Holy Spirit, the Ruach Ha-Kodesh, originates in the Hebrew Scriptures, and as early as Genesis 1.

There is a potent Zam Zam river in the Caspian region and one of you guys actually found this. Disapointed you forgot. However ZoroAstrianism did influence Islam. How do we know that incest spread from east to west when the Egyptians also have a historical connection to that practice? It could have travelled the other way. Both are equally correct. Those bibles based on the Septuagint (the Greek translation) count Psalm 9 and 10 as Psalm 9. The Hebrew is one extra after Psalm 9. No biggy. Hope that clarifies things for you.

so if stones are supposed to be an offering, doesn't this give a whole new meaning to Sunan Abu Dawood Chapter 4 point 7, where you're supposed to clean yourselves after defecation with no less than 3 stones and Sahih Al-Bukhari Chapter 25 point 161 talking about cleaning up yourselves with an odd number of stones. It is afaik even suggested to do it with stones as to not feed the Djinn/the Shaitan(forgot where to find that passage), but if Mel is right, the actual meaning is to purposely use stones to feed the Djinn/the Shaitan as it is supposed to be "an offering".
