The correct English rendering of Quran 33:40 is: ' Muhammed is not the father of any of your men, but he is the messenger of Allah and the seal of the prophets; and Allah has full knowledge of all things.' First of all the english rendering is ( is not) and not ( was not ) as you want us to understand . All the Arabic Qurans translate it as ( is not ) and not ( was not). The reference context of this verse was that at Mecca, when all prophet Muhammed's male children died in their childhood, his enemies taunted him as one who has no male issue . The verse declares that Muhammed is not, never was, nor will ever be the father of any grown up young men( the arabic word means: grown-up young men), but he is the seal of the prophets. The context under which this verse relates has nothing to do with Jesus and therefore to say that the name , 'Muhammed in the verse actually stands for Jesus is laughable and depicts your ignorance of the highest level. You want go interpret the verse and substitute's the name 'Muhammed' for Jesus; why don't you then also substitute's the word 'Messenger' for the word 'son' since you believe in Jesus not as the Messenger of Allah but rather as the 'son' of Allah??? You are just doing nothing here but creating confusion in the minds of people. In Quran 2:136 it states: Say, or Muhammed , say or proclaim, We believe in Allah and what is sent down to us( the Quran), and what was sent down to Abraham, and Ismael, and Ishaque, and Yaqub and go their offspring, and what was bestowed upon Moses and Jesus, and what was given to other prophets from their Lord.......
