    It’s crazy to see Zahids size and build to going up fifty pounds to out work and break Martin at the end to being so much bigger than Hall here. Even than he had long arms and legs for his build but seems like his chest and back were stronger than opponents thought.

    In the 1982 Oklahoma / Oklahoma State dual David Schultz was attempting a reversal on Mike Sheets. About the only control Sheets had was that he had Schultz's ankle. The bout ended before Schultz could get his reversal, and Sheets beat Schultz by one point. Now they give points for takedowns and reversals even when they have the leg. I'm not used to seeing that.

  • @Rene390

    @Rene390

    4 жыл бұрын

    Neither. It's Folkstyle wrestling. I don't know if you're from the U.S. but that is what we wrestle in high school during high school season and in college. There is no folkstyle wrestling in the worlds or olympics so the NCAA championship is the highest level of folkstyle wrestling there is. Most of these guys will transition into Freestyle after their college careers are over. Some actually do it their off season during high school and compete at the wold class level in freestyle during their off season while they are still in college. Hope this helps.

However, it’s his 3rd failed one and why many know about his issues with it. Hopefully he can just get the help he needs, & sticks with wires later on to keep him away from that lifestyle! Sad the double standard between our sport & Football players who will get just a 2 game suspension for beating women and doing coke! 🤦🏼‍♂️

    Wrong immature head. Pay close attention. He didn't shake his hand. He didn't slap it away. He slapped it. Watch when a winning wrestler shakes the hand of a sore losing wrestler. Watch carefully now, you might miss it. A good sport will lock hands and shake the hand. MPD.

    @@reggieglubber5420 no the dude is right he "dapped" him up it's not a real handshake that people are used to seeing in wrestling, but still a sign of respect between two people

    Nope, the dude is not right. Pay close attention to how the winner reaches his hand out and how a FEW losers who practice good sportsmanship shake hands after a match. kzread.info/dash/bejne/qJx_lNSSmrfFn8Y.html

    No he can stand up. When you have your own kids and see them wrestle on this big of a stage, you'll be standing up too

    Sure he can be rude and stand up. You can stand up and clap and cheer at the beginning and end of the match. What if the other opponents family and friends are sitting right behind him?? SIT DOWN!!! I was at the finals of the State championships in Albuquerque. One wrestler in the finals was from Carlsbad. He was undefeated and in 8th grade. He was wrestling an undefeated SENIOR. All of his family and friends stayed seated during his match. He won. And he won 4 more times. At the same meet there was a fellow that kept standing up with his camera to videotape his son. That lasted about two minutes. Lots of people couldn't see the other matches. The crowd got him to sit down. Seems tons of considerate fans and family stay seated during the Olympics.

    @@reggieglubber5420 he's sitting with the ASU portion of the crowd. They were fine with it. The other opponents family were at a different part of the crowd. Come on sir. At the ncaas they separate all the college fans and families by college. Can't use your state championship example here

    Sure can use my State championships example. Don't be rude. SIT DOWN and allow everyone and anyone to view a match or multiple matches at the same time. SIT DOWN!!! This 8th grader had tons of fans and family. They all stayed seated so each of them could have full view of the activities e.g. wrestlers, refs, other fans, the time clock etc. GREAT example. Applies directly.
