So far I am LOVING this movie😍STEPPENWOLF and Cyborg have been the highlights for me so far. I think Steppenwolf looks absolutely incredible. Everything about him is just so freaking cool, from his voice to his whole suit. I was mesmerized by the suit armor that he has and the way it moves in a wave like motion, almost like feathers blowing in the wind, it's just gorgeous🤩 He is so menacing and makes a wonderful villain along with Darkseid. That whole scene with Darkseid trying to take over the planet from the past and the protectors defeating him, had me in absolute AWE. Cyborg looked incredible as well, have loved Cyborg since I was a kid growing up watching Teen Titans. His whole look, his suit, was amazing -- his backstory had me in the feels. Needless to say so far I am IMPRESSED and can't wait to see more. I hope you enjoy my reaction😁Stay tuned for PART 2

Wonderful job Lauren. All the info and the great scenes together. Side note, Barry Allen's father (the one in prison) is the same actor who played Dr Manhattan in Watchmen, Billy Crudup. Yes, Stepphenwolfs armor is sick...and his entire apoearence is light-years better than the theatrical release. So much backstory got put into the first three chapters. The train starts rolling from here. Lauren, a cargo ship of Gold so far, with still more to come. Thank you for this, and your tireless efforts. Peace and love. ❤️🥰✌️

If you love the design of Steppenwolf you should google some images of the Shrike from Hyperion novels. It would not surprise me one bit if they drew inspiration from it.

This is what should have been released in theaters. A truly great cinematic adventure. Zack Snyder is one of a kind. Hope you enjoy the last half!

The song during Aquaman’s scene is “There Is a Kingdom” by Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds from the incredible album, The Boatman’s Call. Its use in the scene speaks to Aquaman’s reluctance to accept his place as king of Atlantis. Another song from The Boatman’s Call is used to great effect in Shrek 2.

Darkseid is Uxas bonded with the sole force of entropy in the universe, known as the Omega Effect ( which is why the symbol of minions of Darkseid is the Omega). He is evil incarnate and it usually takes 7 JLA members to.......subdue(not conquer, one doesn't conquer Darkseid).

Jack Kirby called the Apokoliptan portals "Boom Tubes" which helped most of them travel Interdimensionally. Those evil New Gods could generate them at will.

So glad you are reacting to "Justice League", What made this flick so awesome is the writing by Chris Terrio and Zack Synder. They took a methodical world-building approach to the back story and motivations of the new main characters such as The Flash and Cyborg. Also gave the awesome back story to the villains, Steppenwolf and Darkseid. -------- Because of the backstory and world-building we feel the intensity of every fight sequence with Steppenwolf and the protagonist. ------

What an Awesome, awesome multi-layer approach to the "Justice League" saga, that utilizes the best parts of the comic book to deliver a top-notch movie. ---- Again Zack Synder saves the day.

It took the MCU 10 years for an epic teamup film.. Zack Snyder said "Just give me 4 hours!"

YES FINALLY 21:40 Regarding Ezra, everything except for stealing alcohol and assault has been disproven. It's also been revealed that WB overworked Ezra.

I think one of the best parts about your reaction is the smile in your face whenever WonderWoman appears. We can see what having this female role model in the screen means to you. And I'm so glad Zack Snyder gave us this version of the character and cast Gal Gadot for it.

Still to this day, I am in total awe of how good Steppenwolf is in the film. First of all, he felt more like an actual threat and was a total badass. Dude did NOT fuck around at all and was on a mission... period! He was scary. Second... I love his redesign here. Love his armor and like the fact that its alive and reacts to whatever mood he is in. Lastly, I also like his character development. His reasoning for his actions is alot more understandable here and he felt like an ACTUAL character unlike his 2017 counterpart. He truly and deeply regretted what he did eons ago against his nephew and master, Darkseid. He felt so bad about it. All he was trying to do is come back home and get back in his people's good graces. Never thought I see the day that I'd feel bad for him.

26:48 is one of my favorite superhero movie moments. Cyborg gets told he is basically the god of technology and could do whatever he likes. So what does he do? He makes sure a struggling mother gets her rent paid.

Wonderful reaction, really cool to see you doing this. The story is fantastic and look of Steppenwolf is amazing and of course having finally Darkseid as part of the movie gives the Justice League so much more relevance and the right back story.

The crown jewel of Zack Snyder's vision in the DCEU. After the 2017 theatrical version was released to most critical disappointment and (somehow) still huge Box office, we knew that it wasn't the one we were expecting. It wasn't right for his film to be altered. I will say it did hurt to hear about Snyder losing his daughter. Been rooting for him as an person and not just a filmmaker. These episodic parts feel like old school full-length movies. Start and stop with intermissions and continuing onward. The scenes of these first parts are great set ups for what's coming in the final conflict.

Those women in the village were singing for that exact reason. They revere Arthur Curry as a God from the sea. Remember, Superman was the first meta human to be known world wide. To those villagers- a man coming from the ocean to deliver food and help and then vanishing back into the water is equal to seeing Poseidon or someone similar for ancient people. They view him as a Godly figure.

Good reaction. And yep...actor Joe Morton who played Dr. Silas Stone, also played Miles Dyson in Terminator 2. He seems to always play the role of a scientist...he also played one for 5 seasons of the TV show 'Eureka'.

Great Reaction! I have to admit that I've seen the Justice League movie before but not this version. This has A LOT more to it than the one I've seen and I wish I'd seen this one instead. So much more back stories and information that's missing in the other one. I'm so glad you're enjoying the DC Universe too. We've all been inundated with the Marvel Universe, which I love also, but I grew up as a kid watching the Saturday morning Justice League cartoons and it's so exciting to see someone who's relatively new to this really enjoying it. From what I heard, it was the death cry of a Kryptonian that awakened the mother boxes. Indicating that Earth no longer had a protector to save us from Darkseid.

I am so glad you are reacting to this version and not the other one that came out in the theaters because that one was a mess and annoying plus the bad guy's armor didn't look good at all in that version. I think Zach's darker way of seeing things makes it interesting and this one has more footage as well hence it's so long. I love this version and I am glad that you are liking it so far as well.

I really enjoy watching your reactions to some of my favorite films. It's like when you're excited to show a friend a movie you love because you just know they'll love it too! And this film in particular, because for us Snyder Fans, we had to wait 4 long years for it! We were told, it didn't exist. It was fake and to forget about it. The culmination of everything we faced to have been there joined by so many other fans in a watch party of Man of Steel hosted by Zack and Deb accompanied by Henry to show us that his film was real and soon coming to us fans. That was one of those moments you know you'll never forget! And to watch you enjoy and cheer and feel the scenes really is the reaction you wish to see and you always deliver. Loved the fact that you like how cool Steppenwolf looks, especially compared to the sad counterpart in the theatrical release. Low-key wished these reactions were like an hour long lol

Fun DC Fact: As you travel from The Fourth World to the regular DC Universe it shrinks you to more or less normal sizes. Without traveling through the BOOM tube, Steppenwolf would be bigger than the planet Earth itself.

It is always interesting to see people review the bootleg Jostice League version after they watched Zack Snyders Justice League which was the original not a reshoot. It was Jass Weeden who did a ton of reshoots which gave us the infamous mustache-gate scenes which looked so bad Superman looked like Toungie from that move Kung Pao. All the impactful scenes from The Flash and Cyborg were cut out to make room for that Russian family who were ready to defend the earth with cans of bug spray that said “bug spray” on the actual can, not sure if that’s exact but from what I remember of that absolute horror of a movie.

Lauren, we all love Wonder Woman, even before the movie and cartoons in the 80's. You have every right to love the character and Gal Gadot's portrayal of her. Wonder Woman captivated hearts and minds, as an amazing female Godess fighting for truth and justice in a world dominated by men. But she is no man. She is WONDER WOMAN.

Steppenwolf in the comics is Darkseid uncle in this one he is Darkseid nephew. And I love how you noticed cyborgs dad from Terminator. Lol. He never learned lol. One thing it hurts me it's from Batman v superman when superman said Martha to batman and he stopped everyone made fun of it. But they missed the point" Bruce became batman because of his parents they hold that much of his mental space. So when superman said Martha he took him back, it was the only way to stop Batman from trying to kill superman.

You need to understand how Flash perceives time... to him, days are endless, hours are eternal, minutes take forever, seconds are like hours... so he needs friends. Superfriends...
