I always find it funny that Snyder fans always claimed that WB doesn't listen to the fan because they fired Snyder while true DC fans have been wanting Snyder to be fired for years after the mess he made to DC characters. @@mickyodell I'm a casual when it comes to Watchmen but when I saw the movie for the first time I never thought he was a "good guy" or "the good guy". The only good thing he does is brutally murder the child rapist, if anything Nite Owl comes the closest in the movie to being "the good guy". Now that I'm thinking about it Silk Spectre might be "the good guy". Rorschach is cool is what I (a casual fan of the movie) took away from that. Plus Snyder has said that all the characters in Watchmen are terrible. Again if u watched BvS Batman killing people is portrayed as a bad thing.

They wanted Marvel 's success. Zack didn't deliver.

Zack will be very surprised when he finds out Injustice is not the original DC continuity.

There's a difference between a character finding a way out and a writer being cheap with it and writing an easy solution.

I'm starting to think that people liked Snyder cut because they've seen worse version. Had the Joss version never existed, I don't think Snyder would get that much of a praise, people are just curious is all.

zack is from a horror background but so is James Gunn. Lets see what James puts out, up to now I haven't seen him create a serious character maybe he should put the DCU Batman movie in another ditectors hands. I have enjoyed both of their movies.

There are comics where Batman does kill, and Snyder likes those comics. I don't think we need a reoccurring killing Batman, but it works in small doses, such as in animated adaptions.

I used to be a fan of Zack Snyder but now I realize he’s a wacko edge lord who, like you said, wants to make everything Watchmen without what really made Watchmen good. He’d be a good cinematographer or set designer(not the main one) or just a person to look out for inconsistencies within a script. Never a director or writer.

Snyder naver said Batman should kill just for the sake of killing he said a director or writer should have the freedom to allow Batman to kill as long as it fits the narrative they are trying to tell like Batman killing is wrong (BvS) Thinking Snyder had anything to do with DC movies post 2017 is wrong he was not in charge and he only had producer credit because of contract reasons The only movies he was in charge of and activly involed with were MoS, BvS, ZSJL, WW, SS2016 and maybe Aquaman. Shazam WW84 TSS Black Adam BOP Aquaman 2 The Flash Blue Beatle and JL2017 are not him at all.

This zack snyder movie rebel moon is a good movie, what are you guys talking about. I watched it with my family unbiased and we lived it so much, it's an easy 8/10 for us.. It's a nice movie Compared to marvel shit hole recent movies.. What did zack actually do to you guy, should he start paying you guys to start loving his movies.. It's just not fair.

Burton's Batman was a darker take at the time but they played on comic book logic so its all up in the air, Snyder's take was using real world logic so there's less forgiveness there

I thought 300 and Watchmen were okay.... but the DCEU movies directed by Zack were just.... bad to absolutely unwatchable. There's NO excuse for Batman V Superman to be that damn bad. The last five minutes of that movie are the only good part about it.

Batman has killed all throughout his history. What was adapted was that Batman doesn't use a gun. Apparently in movies he uses guns when attached to the Batmobile. Maybe we can blame Tim Burton but Snyder definitely didn't set the president

The issue in Batman vs Superman is not Batman killing coz let's be Honest Keaton Batman killed and even at the ending of Dark Knight Batbale killed Harvey by throwing him off the edge. The issue in showing Batman and Superman killing in Batman vs Superman was that it is hands the most iconic superhero clashes of all time no debate, and if we are watching these two icon go toe to toe for the first on the big screen I believe it should have been the best incarnations of characters coz let's be honest at the end of the day they are just a collection of colors, words and pencil drawn on paper. However I do believe that Batman and Superman are at their most entertaining because of their moral integrity, mercy and the no kill rule. I did believe that if he showed some alternate version of Batman or Superman killing it would have been fine, but they are the main continuity characters in BVS , I believe if you are making a movie on batman vs superman for the first time on the big screen, then you should make the best versions of batman and superman clash not your version of the characters which you believe to be realistic, and if Zack was complaining so much Batman not killing is delusional and the fans are living in a dream world then why doesn't he make history movie and why did he make movies of Superman coz nothing that he does is real or makes sense by any means

Holy shit that guy is fucking pitiful, I remember he went on a rant on Twitter saying that Grant Morrison was a terrible writer (because he disagreed with Snyder’s views on Batman and becuase Gunn is using his Superman book as inspiration) and that Morrison is no expert on Batman. Grant. Fucking. Morrison of all people. He also has a massive hate boner for James Gunn and continuously used his old tweets to get him cancelled again, while also making excuses for Snyder’s controversial takes and don’t even get me started on what he did to Isabel Merced.

Just cause it happens in comics doesn’t automatically make it good writing. Everyone knows Batman no kill rule is what makes him way interesting as a character.

Zack Snyder managed to bring the best Batman and the best Superman to the cinema. However, what really damaged its universe was Warner itself trying to be Marvel and speeding up and skipping essential parts in the construction of its cinematic universe. Another point was the Knightmare timeline, which was extremely well received by the public who wanted to see more of it, but it had to follow what Warner wanted.

Kilmer’s Batman caused Two-Face to fall to his death (debatable if that counts but I count it myself). Even Bale’s Batman killed Harvey Dent at the end of Dark Knight by pushing him off the building to save Gordon’s son. So each live action version of Batman since the 80s (apart from Clooney I think) has been put into a situation where they directly caused someone’s death or gleefully did it like in the Keaton films. But I see your point that it’s different seeing Batman blast them with machine gun turrets or using a wrecked car of the criminals as a wrecking ball to take out the others. To be fair, that was awesome to watch lol. But odd coming from Batman.
