Talking is a free action, doesnt take time, they could talk 15 minutes and 1 second could have passed, thats just to make the history telling be more compalling and interesting, its just the rule of cool or history telling convenience. You can see, after dio killed that woman in the jewelry shop, he healed himself and his clothes, even tho he shouldnt be able to "heal" his clothes, but thats just history telling liberty, something made just to be cool or not drag unnecessary contradictions, the author uses of these without needing explaining just bc he doesnt really need to, just history telling convenience

1 year late to the conversation, but it really only took them one evening to figure out DIO's stand. Polnareff first encountered DIO on the stairs at sundown. The coffee shops were still open during Jotaro and DIO's fight, so it wasn't too late

i can just imagine DIO pausing time, running down the stairs, moving polnareff quickly down the stairs, yet gently enough that it doesnt hurt him, then quickly running back up the stairs to hold the same pose, then when time resumes, DIO's actually breathing really hard while being tired as fuck because he had to do all that in like 4 seconds purely to flex

Technically, no one deflected the emerald splash. Gray Tower dodged it, Star Platinum blocked it, technically, The World was the only stand to truly deflect the emerald splash.

@Fuji Lor Sorry got too overexcited DIO can actually move in stopped time for 11 seconds because they both have the same stand Jotaro can stop time for 5 seconds but when DIO drank joestar blood the maximum of his timestop is up to 11 seconds so he can move as free as well as to how long he stopped time which he can both stop time for 11 seconds and move in frozen time for 11 seconds in his flamboyant form.

@Fuji Lor As in he can talk for 11 seconds that's why DIO wasn't completely frozen in time due to being a vampire with the same stand ability as jotaro he can talk in stopped time for 11 seconds using his supernatural prowess and the joestar blood he drank.

God this video is actually so satisfying lmao

What people seem to forget is that the Time Stop's intervals increase by 1 second after every use. By the time the Time Stop is first revealed during the final episodes, we can assume it lasts 5 seconds by that point and increased by 1 second every time Dio used it. And when Dio got ahold of Joseph's blood, it probably lasted over 10 seconds by that point.

Dio's final time stop was actually 11 seconds though. Jotaro even says so. "Dio, It's been eleven seconds. I guess that's your limit now."

i suppose it's the amount of time DIO could *MOVE* in stopped time, but not the amount of time he could hold time stop for... but Jotaro breaks all logic, he *LEARNED* how to move in stopped time, increased it up to 4-5 seconds (since they were *INTENSIVELY* clashing) and then learned how to *"Suta Purachina, Za Warudo!"*

Naw naw it’s like this. So time resumed at the 9 second mark. The. Star platinum stopped time. Which is 5 seconds in his prime. And with jotaro he can move for 2 seconds. So basically he can move thru for 11 seconds with both his and star platinum’s timestop

I think it went like this Dio smashed a steam roller at jotaro at the 7 second mark. He totalled Jotaro at the 8 second. mark. Jotaro, barely alive under the steam roller desperate to destroy DIO, stops time at the 9 second mark. Jotaro pushes up the steam roller and recovers his ground a bit at his 1-3 seconds mark. Jotaro hides to sneak attack DIO around the 5 second mark. Time resumes (Star Platinum) DIO boasts on about conquering Earth at the 10 second mark (The World). DIO start to freeze at around the 11 second mark (Jotaro's time stop). Jotaro talks to dio around the 2 second mark (Star Platinum). Jotaro kicks DIO's legs at the 4 second mark (Star Platinum). Time resumes (The World) Time resumes (Star Platinum).

Jotaro can only move for a moment but if he can move for a moment only once that means he can move for a moment twice too if dio had tried to kill him without realizing his fatal error star platinum would star finger his stand and tear it apart within that moment because star platinums supernatural speed is faster than the world as soon as jotaro is either 1. pissed off 2. confident to save his friends.

In part 2 Joseph jumps in the air to kick refrences something like history, popculture or magic tricks, explains why he hates the person he is about to kick, explains his plan on how his kick is going to kill the enemy, the enemy laughs, "NANIII?", the enemy explains that he saw it coming and made a counter attack for the kick, Joseph smirks, "NANIII?", Joseph explains how his plans went even deeper and was suspecting the counter attack so the original attack was a distraction for the real attack to hit. Then the kick hits. This happens 12 times a fight with every battle.

Jotaro didn't train his Za Warudo so its power diminished to only half a second. He trains it more later but without vampiric immortality and regeneration the burden it puts on his body prevents him from using it to its maximum potential. Dio was and still is the strongest user of The World.
