You are laterally the first person beside me that I have seen who understands Yuu Yuu Hakusho. I've been meaning to make my own videos to honor this magnum opus among literature but now I at least don't have to address the powerscalling. You've done it better than I could have.

Glad you enjoyed it. I'm currently in the works of covering YYH scaling from basically the beginning to Toguro and after that is done i'll be doing my biggest project yet and will be breaking down the scaling and feats across the board to the mathematics and the potency (joules/cc) and such. Should be a lot of fun and will ultimately become one giant cohesive YYH respect thread/ video. Then I can focus the same on other series.

This would be a fine scale going off just what's "shown" but interestingly.. as early as D class with just Byakko.. let alone the others.. his special attack that atomizes things like the basalt rock in the lava room measures out to "large" building level on it's own in total energy but would more realistically be around a small city block in AP given it's feat with it's size. Scaling into B class also lends itself towards island level as a lowball as well but this one is very scaling based. I would expect no one to think island level off feats for YYH without the verbatim scaling contextualized with them. I'll address it in my part 3 vid on early YYH scaling and you can see if you agree or not at that point. :)

Really appreciate it man. Glad you liked it! YYH can be weird to scale a lot of times simply because of what everyone expects out of a feat and YYH is more focused on attack potency rather than "only" how much someone can destroy so they never have enormous AOE like most series.

They all cover for each other so well Karama the intellectual one he handles the fights that needs brains and not brawn Hiei the cool emo that cares take care of the fights which he seems that fits him so no one gets hurt Kuwabara heart of the team he handles the fights that needs emotions and listening and Yusuke does the rest where the opponent just need an ass kicking

Character development and how they functioned together is definitely one of the strongest points of the series!

How do you only have 700 subscribers? The quality, editing, and knowledge contained in your videos is better than other anime power scalers with a hundred thousand times your subscribers. Keep doing what you're doing, you're going to be big someday.

Yet another great video and holy damn! I remember that line from Sensui in the manga and the anime both about his aura simply charging up can destroy the world which is why he didn`t go all the way but damn so that statement right there and later feats in the demon plane and other stronger S classes conform it these dudes are freaking planetary level. all I am thinking right now is imagine Raizen in his prime. Raizen who is said to be the beast of all beasts and scales above even Mukoro and Yomi and still had the edge even when he was dying and weaker. and I seen some people say Yu Yu Hakusho can't fight Dragon ball Z I call bullcrap on that. I don't know up to how far they could go vs a dragon ball but they can certainly compete!

I have a video on the hypothetical power of raizen lol. And yea, YYH definitely gets into the level of DBZ. Imo, they make it to first form frieza at absolute best case. Really, not even that tbh. But then again, the 3 kings are far above Yusuke for example :P

Show me things like Zamasu or if something is massively faster than light.. show them outspeed the light flash of a lightning bolt or just.. anything lol. Things can be whatever level they are.. just.. I want to be convinced if someone holds the positive that something "is" what they say it is and man... just.. it "says" it just isn't even close to good enough for me lol. I rly like these video,and i know waht u mean by that unbacked Sensui statement but one of the feats he had is that when he started releasing his energy he did shake the dimention in whitch Kurama,Hiei and Kuwabara were in plus i think its consistent with Koenmas statement that S classes can wipe out planets(Think he said something like that).So even if him powering up to 50% even 100% could prob lowballing be Surface lvl (I personaly scale him to 100% beeing Earth lvl cuz he would more than likely know his strength giving the personality he used at the moment).Keep up with great work.

I really appreciate it man! As for him shaking that dimensional creature Itsuki controlled, that's sadly anime only. There is no indication what so ever that it shakes in the manga. The anime definitely has some super scaling that the manga misses and vice versa lol. Regardless, him being surface level "can" be argued given his 100% power in an actual "attack" would lead to small planetary with actual feats so he's around that level no matter how you cut it XD. Which is crazy given how weak he is by EOS....

You touched on most. But let's clear up some things. **You have to keep in mind sensui mindset. He didn't want to kill demons anymore. Had achieved his goal of going to demon world. He was holding back considerably. W/o his spirit armor, hiei, kuwabara and kurama would've died. Besides that they're heroes so they won't simply die lol.** Sensui wasn't the weakest s- class. Demon yusuke was weaker and chances are s-class kuwabara was also weaker. Sensui scales no lower than 4,000 at his weakest in s-class. As high as 30,000 at his peak. Hokushin at 36,000. Also note that hiei was around 50% mukuro in the tournament. So about 750,000. Yusuke with his version of sacred energy was over 1 million. Yomi son, shura was about 500,000. Yomi at 1.5 million, mukuro was speculated to be stronger than yomi. Her frame of mind changes her power. At best, as high as 2-3million. S class supercedes at the lowest, 4-500x's A class A class = gods like zeus or arch angels B class = lower gods or angels C class = nephilim or cyclop type monsters D class = much stronger than humans E class = weaker or as strong as humans

The only reason they survived is because he was holding back so much and after he went full power they couldn't even be near his aura or they'd die. Drastic change in power. I think the point being brought up is that they were tanking actual full contact blows albeit.. from a holding back sensui. "Sensui wasn't the weakest s- class. Demon yusuke was weaker and chances are s-class kuwabara was also weaker." Psuedo-truth lol. Sensui was going to ressurected Yusuke but Yusuke was still getting used to his power and when Raizen possessed him... all he did was unlock the power he already had. He was "already" that strong and just didn't know how to use it. So... in a way, Sensui was "stronger" and yet not. I mostly bring up Sensui being the weakest S class as it's by far the easiest use of a measuring stick for class scaling to power when worded that way. Hopefully this clears up why going forward you'll probably hear me still refer to him as the weakest S class. "Also note that hiei was around 50% mukuro in the tournament. So about 750,000. Her frame of mind changes her power. At best, as high as 2-3million." I'll start by saying I do manga (canon) only so this doesn't really apply as the manga is "drastically" different. However.. I know the anime really well too. We don't really know where Hiei scaled to Mukuro in PL but he has "always" maintained being close to power with Yusuke. We also don't know what PL sacred energy Yusuke would be either but yes, Shura would be about 500,000 PL. The very important thing here is in anime only.. Mukuro is actually over 2x stronger than Yomi being able to defeat Natsume (Yomi's equal in power) with only half her power (shackles broken by Hiei). Hiei also never absorbed his dragon (his strongest technique) and neither tried to kill or even injure each other really. Hard to tell but ya, I wish the fights were all shown in the manga.

And, King Emma’s feat backs this up. It was stated that he could damage Earth from the Spirit World, and we know that the Spirit World is an infinite realm.

I appreciate the fact we have people giving the series some more love in the vs community Speaking of Yu Yu Hakusho, i remembered Death Battle’s Sasuke vs Hiei episode, where they used a calc to determine Hiei’s power output through scaling to Yusuke when he fought Yomi and made an explosion. I saw some people being divided on the topic, whereas some were saying that DB wanked their calc, others were saying that it’s legit. I saw some people bring up other calcs for the same feat to claim that Death Battle was highballing, these having only single-digit Petaton results, in contrast to Death Battle’s calc having a triple-digit Zettaton result. My perspective on it is that those calcs got their results based on the explosion’s shockwave, not taking into account the beam that went up to the sky like Death Battle’s did, which i presume is the reason why the latter came out at a much more impressive number Still i’d like to know your stance on that calc. How powerful do you think that explosion was? That feat played a good part on DB’s reasoning as to why S-class demons are Planet level, would you agree with them in that reasoning?

I stick entirely to the manga. My numbers for small planetary is for Sensui alone.. let alone Hiei as an upper S class. So basically.. that explosion they calced.. i personally never bothered to look at DB's calc or others because it's non canon so I don't want to "pretend" like I know who did it right or wrong. But again.. that said.. Sensui's full contact punch puts his energy attacks at small planetary AP and it only goes up from there meaning Hiei is large planetary.. not just "simply" base planetary in AP. Important to note is that Large planetary is "super" vague because you're going from large planets to sun/solar system after and even big planets can fit a multitude of times in yet.. even larger planets but the most accurate "label" for Hiei's AP is large planetary. If I "had" to give a stance on the anime explosion, I would say DB is more likely to be right as the vs community fails almost every time in acknowledging the "actual" and "correct" size of the Okumen trees/ final battlefields. But that's just who I feel is "more likely" to be correct and the reason.

Zaelleaz I see. I’m aware that you stick mainly to manga, although i figured since you seem to know a lot about YYH i wanted to hear your opinion on that. From what i know Atari seems to agree on the calc. And i don’t know about Sir Splash, since he doesn’t seem to do a lot pixel scaling and even stated that he doesn’t like it all that much; but then again he also put YYH at universal all the way to multiversal so it’s up to the imagination how that would go lol Anyway, thanks for your insight, oh and good video overall! As i said before i’m glad Yu Yu Hakusho is getting recognition in the vs scenario and i like the way you analyze these characters. Keep up the good work!

@@hybridepsilon2099 Atari HMB has a much better and valid way of going about discerning power levels in general than how Splash does it imo. But both of them, in contrast with myself take to some degree statements that don't have supporting evidence as fact and lean heavily in the authorial intent when looking at their power whereas I lean towards the idea of "death of the author" tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/DeathOfTheAuthor being a "MUCH" better means of being as "accurate" and "consistent" as possible with my takes.. something I'd "hope" everyone would look to as main points in the takes they give. And this isn't something boring like throwing shade, just highlighting my reasoning and the differences in how people can take things. Glad you liked the video!

@@hybridepsilon2099 Zaelleeaz's Video is great and I agree on his scaling. I prefer that he does not use calcs since calcs are only a reference point and do not take precendce over the manga. So yeah i agree with the Planatary scaling but, I need to adress that Death Battle Calc. Death Battle is utter trash, even when I agree with their outcomes they still somehow manage to make the stupidest of arguments. Anyway I've had experience debunking calcs, even have a solid calc buddy(Cipher the scanner) who does good calcs for a living, so allow a credible source like me to tell you how utter gabage that calc. I've messed up while doing some calcs but this calc was hilarious. The first issue with this calc, is that because its anime only they calced the height of the explosion, to be 70 pixels. For one this isnt a manga so the size of the explosion varies depending on your TV screen. I watched the feat on my phone and reached 43.24 pixels. I rewatched it on my 4k TV and reached 203.4 pixels. Death Battle is so stupid to not realise u cant calc anime only feats by assuming vertically horizontal height since the size of everyone's tv screen varies. Lastly rather than calling energy output that their generating, their assuming it was an Explosive dc attack and not an Ap one. Like explosions on 2 collisions is Omnidirectional and not, vertical. So 2 major errors. Calc teams would laugh at this. I'm not saying I disagree with Planet level Yu Yu Hakusho. But people who appeal to this calc really need to learn that death battle is a joke at this point. So yeah don't appeal to this calc. Anyone with 2 brain cells will identify and debunk it. Atari is okayish, I don't take splash to seriously. Neither does are Amino community. Nothing against him, just eh ya know.

While im not good at crunching numbers, but from what i watched in anime and what scans i found of the manga in alot of vs debates. I want say that alot of the yu yu hakusho characters by demon tournament and even the ending of of it might possibly equivalent to saiyan saga levels, 'maybe' early namek saga levels. That's my best estimate. yu yu hakusho such an underrated series, its personally my favorite anime of all time. Love the characters in series and how they progressed and developed.

To be as accurate and lowballed as possible i'd say it's very safe to say the 3 kings and their equivalents in power (Enki and his friends) are all into namek saga levels and no further. No one but a hypothetical raizen can get past that. DBZ is still crazy in power level lol. But yea, YYH gets downplayed hard but it's looking to start turning around potentially.

@@zaelleaz5644 a lot my friends love Dbz, bleach, and naruto. But personal you I liked yu yu Hakusho more. I watced my fair of anime and recently trying find decent animes I get into. But yu yu a,usho always draws me back in far more than any other anime. Though outlaw star, ronin warriors, and tenchi series comes after it. Most my favorite animes usually come from early toonami days.

Man, this is a really good video. I was watching it while editing my own. I do like to leave constructive comments when possible; so here's some I have. Forewarning that I don't agree with everything you said, but I'm not into versing much anymore and just appreciate the quality you have on display. 120% Toguro is "100%/100%" as in his official 100%. It's a metaphor for his whole power, not 2X his power. As opposed to the original "100%" not really being his whole power. It was a really bad line the dub improved on. Do we have any info on anyone but Yusuke training during the 3K arc? Especially Hiei. I ask this because I know he likely lost to Mukuro in the manga, through similar shenanigans to the anime. But I'm wondering whether he would've beaten Sasuga, as she was definitely far beyond Shigure-level. If he hadn't trained, I don't see it happening. I'm not sure Suzaku is that weak as you're saying. Though I'd be interested in hearing your reasoning for why he would be. And on how life energy changes scaling in general. The music is slightly too loud for me. It makes me have to turn everything down a little to hear you without discomfort, but it's not too big a deal. It's hard to see your images due to the background. Maybe you can put them above the entire background. If that's stretched out too much, you can zoom in on them and pan through the whole panel as you talk. I had trouble reading the Yomi lines towards the end. I do like your background minimalism itself, though. Your talking voice is great. These are all minor points from me, since you've got that talent of people just listening to you in the background to help focus on work. Your audio sounds very clear, too. No static at all. And I do find a lot of the points you made in your video true; some of them like Sensui's shockwave I haven't even considered. You're right that many people downplay YYH, but I remember people comparing its high tiers to the DBZ Saiyan saga...can't remember exactly to whom within it, though.

Really glad you liked the vid! As I care about being really accurate. When it comes to Toguro I hope it's understood I only scale the manga since it's what's canon. In the manga, Toguro brings up 120% in terms of bringing out your effort for a friend (can find scan if wanted) but as for his power.. he states, "100% over 100% maximum power" as he transforms further. I think if it stated 100% "OF" 100% maximum power I'd of said exactly what you are now but as I read it, it would seem he could reach 200% power because what's math in fiction amirite? But this is the "reason" for to why I scaled it that way :) We know that everyone actually trained and got much stronger. A perfect example is that Kurama had a PL of 152,000 but struggled against Shigure who lost to a Hiei that had "just" risen to low S class and was the weakest S class of her guards and yet before the tournament.. Mukuro's 2nd in command was only around 85,000+ PL. Hiei of course trained for 6 months fighting 500 A classes and proceeds to train to the point of becoming Mukuro's 2nd in command. Take the fact that Shigure had at this time become a challenge for 152,000 PL Kurama and actually he should steamroll Sasuga who would in fact of been stronger than Shigure when he fought Hiei. But she should only scale to where Rinku is in power and should be around 100,000+ PL at best. Hiei on the other hand was the "only" main cast member along side Yusuke to train the entire time. Kurama took 6 months off to tend to his family in the human world. Hiei also like Yusuke fought and lost to an actual 3 king which builds on the fact he's like the vegeta to the goku and never struggled against anyone weaker than a king. In a later video if you end up watching it, you'd see that even if you disagree with where I think Suzaku would be in power, if author's words mean something to you for scaling (doesn't for me unless backed by feats or scaling specifically) then actually, Suzaku scales to high D class as he actually tells us that Hiei when he fought Zeru with the dragon of the darkness flame was "still" high D class power. Something to consider. The big reason I consider Suzaku so weak personally is because of scaling. He simply falls far beneath others in the tournament that even 45% toguro can tank and oneshot for days. He scales less than Zeru or around even at best. As for life energy.. it's more of a potency scaling. In that with life energy it's quite obvious that when used in an attack, that attack is carrying maximum or higher than that character's maximum amount of potency behind it such as Yusuke oneshotting all the suzakus with a shotgun when it never had that power before. And he was empty of energy. So it was fueled pretty much entirely on life energy and was his strongest blow yet. For the sound and pics.. man.. I know I could do better :( If it comes off a little lazy.. it's 2 part. 1, I'm quite new to the process and hopefully my later vids than this one sound better but 2, I am lazy with it. I have a 4 month old and I just don't have the time or energy to make it better like it needs to be. I throw it all together and when it comes to editing.. too much time is spent. Hopefully I can address this better as he gets older/ can entertain himself a bit better lol. And YA! I remember back in the day there were talks about how Sensui was stronger than ssj3 Goku cause his powering up shook more and was a bigger threat than when ssj3 goku did it. That was some crazy times back then. Though that was at least a decade ago. It's hella downplayed in today's time though i've pushed back where needed and have changed opinions on certain places. Hopefully I illustrated "why" I have the things scaled to where I do because now if you "still" disagree with them I have a real potential of seeing another perspective that I may end up agreeing with or perhaps you see what i'm saying and you end up agreeing with my take. Either way, once again, really glad you enjoyed the vid!

Since I enjoy your presentation style--coming from someone who has grown fairly tired of the versing, that's just a compliment. I believe you with the scan. My thing is to stress the metaphorical intent of the line, as a former math teacher. 100% of 100% is 1, yes. He continued to chase Kurama down until Kurama pulled his deus ex machina. The reason Sasuga rates high, Touya stated she blindsided Rinku like Natsume did with Chuu. In one punch, and Rinku's many thousands above Shigure. If Hiei didn't have any visible training, there's no way he could've gotten out of that block even without fighting Mukuro. When exactly did he train? I'm probably blacking out on that. The author says Hiei vs Zeru was "D" class? So when he beat Seiryuu, he was still D-class? That goes against my thinking, but I'm easily swayed if you show it to me. But that's not a direct link to Suzaku; Suzaku was toying with Yusuke and can only be compared to Yusuke's using his life energy. How do you say he's weaker than anyone else in the tournament in general? If Toguro had a stroke before the Tournament and were never mentioned again, he'd scale to the weaklings in the Spirit Detective arc but would still be far beyond them. It's the same principle with Suzaku, imo. I wouldn't rate him B but at least C+/B- due to the cheapness his Po7-techs presents. No; it's alright. All you'd have to do is resize the images to fit the whole screen in most cases. But I know how kids can be. And overediting can be even more draining. Congratulations on the son. People were just saying anything they wanted. It still sort of happens, depending on the community. I'm usually fine with it, as long as people don't take it too personally. Too much of that, though; and character analysis is my personal thing. This subject makes for an interesting discussion during work. I still disagree with a bit, you can see; and you might change my mind if you continue. But what I haven't brought up is what I alright agree with...which is a lot. So thank you for the insight you showed in it.

Cause for all cases.. 100/100 could be written (100 divided by 100) or (100 over 100) or (100 of 100) or (100 above 100) etc but if sticking with %.. I think 100% over 100% would be pretty fair colloquially to express being 100% in power "over", "above", "higher" than his base 100% power. This whole take definitely makes it impossible to know for certain though. hmmm As for Kurama and Shigure. It sounds like you're talking exclusively about the anime only. The manga deviates in the 3 king (especially the demon tournament) very hard here. There was no human kurama vs Shigure. There was hardly a tournament at all in fact and sadly. We only know Kurama could get to a PL of 152,000 and Shigure gave him a very hard fight. This "necessitates" that Shigure got much stronger as hell.. the whole I'll never use my yoko form again thing never actually happens.. let alone fighting him in human form. And for Hiei.. ya, he trained for 6 months against the 500 A class demons. He then continued to train under Mukuro taking over the 2nd in command by the tournament and he and Yusuke were the only 2 to train for the entire year before the tournament. Rinku also never got destroyed by Sasuga like Natsume did to chu in the manga to memory. But in manga, Yusuke is shown just bits and pieces training with hokushin and Hiei trains under Mukuro. But yea.. when he beat Seiryuu he should be D class and when he beat Zeru.. still D class and when he first fought Yusuke... D class. The jump in power for D class is decently supported by just how YYH scales in general. Even if toguro shows us the jump is 20% in total PL rather than 10% it's feasible/believable. Let me say I personally believe Suzaku "was" lower C class however. I just would never put him even remotely close to B class and is why I would say Toguro could beat him the way i'm talking about. I mean.. just 20% toguro who fought Kuwabara "and" Yusuke was an entire arc "after" Suzaku albeit.. one where the team didn't power up too much. And yea, it is an interesting discussion! All of this is fun to think about and great as a hobby.

@@zaelleaz5644 If it matters, the dub line makes it express, with the "what I said was 100% was more like 85%". To metaphorically mean he was only now arriving at his true 100%, full power. I don't know what additional resources their team had/didn't have access too, though. As far as I remember, there was no Kurama vs Shigure at all in the manga. So you can only use the anime to scale his fighting besides Shachi. But Sasuga scales to Hiei vs Shigure, from Shigure vs Kirin. So was the Kurama vs Shigure fight mentioned in passing in the manga? Considering your interview translation, I'm guessing you'd have it for me. I may have missed it; but as we see in the anime, Yoko's barely out and Shigure sort of struggles to kill human Kurama. When specifically do we see Hiei training after the A-class fights, and how do we know he'd be that much stronger than Kirin or close to Kurama's friends if Kirin's his strongest, potential opponent? The only thing to dictate Rinku vs Sasuga is the Viz manga translation--if you have that, you can see Touya's line. Nothing else was shown except her bracket advance in the manga/anime. I don't think Yusuke vs Hokushin would get him anywhere near the training he'd need either, but he had a headstart. For what it's worth, Genkai's training made no sense. Wow, these mangaka interviews are for the birds. A guy punching 100's of times a second is low-D-class. But if he says it, no point in searching for contradictions. I suppose the real question, then, is where the Dragon scales. As I believe Suzaku would still have crushed Hiei--Yusuke couldn't touch Suzaku for the most part until after Yusuke's Genkai-training afterwards; then you throw in Suzaku's clone potential and give the edge to him. If not, I can only assume the Dragon is another level. Would Hiei's Zeru-Dragon qualify as at least C-class, iyo? But I still don't think it's proper to compare Suzaku to his underlings, however; it'd be like comparing Season 1 Toguro to the triad. Only the bosses gave any sort of fight to a credible character (not Kuwabara vs Byakko). Yusuke and Kuwabara would've failed to beat a serious Toguro/Suzaku, both. I see Touya bumbling against a wounded Kurama who has no energy and can hardly move, and I don't see that guy beating 7 Suzaku's.

Seems like Yuske was never an A class . He was a B+ when he beat Teguro. He did no trading between Teguro and Sensui . Yuske died against Sensui and was reborn a Lower S class as stated by the SDF.

Haha, Sir Splash is who I was thinking of when I had that scan. He and most others for every series will see the infinite more powerful scan and just jump to universal... smh. It's why I stick to statements that have verifiable feats and scaling to support them.. not just the statement itself. Glad you liked the video!

By complete EOS i'd give it to Hiei but only via intuition and 1 feat. This being manga of course. Yusuke got beat by holding back Yomi and it "wasn't" close for 1. Hiei showed to survive a "not" holding back full power attack from Mukuro. And when you consider the difference between holding back (toguro 60% to full power, sensui base to full offense armor, etc) and not holding back.. the fact Hiei is the one to take on a full power attack from Mukuro actually as a feat is >> anything Yusuke shows to take on. Throw in Dragon absorption >>> any "boost" yusuke has and given they ought be pretty relative in power and Hiei has even more in his favor.. hell.. has a sword too. But of course.. we'll never truly know.. but i'd "bet" on EOS Hiei lol.

You are looking at the wrong oakmen trees. You can see the tiny ones in the bottom right of the scan that were the ones you pointed out that are smaller than the cliff Sensui destroyed. Even if those weren't the exact ones, it shows that there are some small trees and you can't just say it was those big ones, which are clearly taller than every cliff around.

Using the okumen trees laid out in a set of 3 is more accurate than not. Them being shown to constantly house not just a mountain but entire ecosystems makes the ones I used more accurate once more. I'm aware there are smaller ones that scale in size to a single demon mountain (much smaller than all the rest ever shown). I care about accuracy too and therefore, the ones I used or the 3 in the top left corner are the most accurate to use.

The scan with the large okumen trees also looks way more zoomed out if you look at how the regular trees look in both scans, yet if those were the same okumen trees, the scan with the plateau that was busted should be even more zoomed out considering how small the okumen trees are.

@@weeaboo-warrior it's going to be an assumption no matter "how" you look at it. It's why I can only go for "most" accurate and is why I'd argue the perspective "could" even have been from the 3 okumen trees in the top left corner. But we know a few things. Mangikas will of course try to convey things such as the size of things but it's not like they should be expected to be accurate to the letter and is a HUGE reason why pixel scaling "can" be so terrible. You have mangas where character's heads are constantly fluctuating by huge degrees "based" on pixel scaling.. which of course is based "entirely" on the idea that each panel has the exact same size and dimensions of previous drawn things. But he "did" convey the size of things. We see many, many times how they house mountains and entire ecosystems with these smaller ones being the only ones ever shown this size. If every single other one can house mountains such as we see the bigger ones next to.. it would be "more" accurate to take those as what we'd expect to see and scale from. I mean, this would be built upon even further when the final tournament stages were built to "resemble" the okumen trees which were "also" housing full mountains and more. So while it "could" be the smaller ones.. we "actually" don't know. But the evidence "heavily" shows it to be ones that dwarf mountains and expecting full artistic scaling from panel to panel can be weird and misleading imo

Zaelleaz I disagree with that because more of the trees in that scan are small than large, and we can see how the smaller ones are small than the cliffs while the bigger ones are larger than the surrounding cliffs. If that cliff they landed on was really dwarfing they large trees, it would have been a massive super structure that would dwarf everything else on the area, yet nothing like that is shown.

I've already given my multiple reasons why it's more accurate to say it's the size I say and ofc that one and only scan against all the other scans and instances of them isn't enough to me imo. That said, it "was" a massive super structure? Everything else "was" dwarfed. Those okumen trees could fit at least 200+ times over within the "volume" of beheaded hill. In fact, there'd be a real argument to make that everything in demon world being much bigger as is shown, how even forest trees of demon world grow as tall as something like madara's susanoo in height for example that the demon mountains are likewise like this and beheaded hill is even bigger yet. But "that" is too assumptuous for me unlike the trees that are again, shown throughout and directly scaled to mountains while housing them to be as big as I feel they more accurately are.

He was the absolute strongest.. in his prime. To be fair.. we never got to see Mukuro in her prime either but even when she was she was no where close to prime Raizen. When we saw Raizen in the story however he was definitely the weakest except in pure offense.

Good video. And I know you are not scaling the anime. But in the anime English sub of YYH sensui in his last fight with yusuke had internal monologue saying he can destroy the human realm as easily as smashing ant hill do you agree with his statement?

I heavily disagree actually. I give no series this leeway. A statement with 0 evidence it's true is highly sub optimal if we "care" about being accurate and consistent. Now.. that said, that doesn't mean he "couldn't" do it. Just that saying he can isn't accurate or even being convinced he could is also inaccurate. If you watch my "how we ought to scale" video you'll see exactly how I break down imo how we "ought" to scale. As for the anime specific Mukuro dimension slicing.. there "could" be arguments made but I suppose I don't really think about them since it's non-canon.

@@jobsidian4219 Boruto the manga is directly supervised by kishimoto and he has say over what happens. He's just not the "main" writer. It's weird but this is accepted as canon as it follows the canon and is again, directly influenced by Kishimoto. The novels for example would be non-canon. I believe Kishi played a main role in making the naruto the last movie canon and such. It all depends on Kishimoto. If he has "no" role.. non-canon. Greatly appreciate the sub btw! Probably the easiest explanation, the scaling is sort of logarithmic instead of being a multiplier scale. It's the only way these insane numbers could be reached. I remember commenting a while ago somewhere that if Sensui's English dub line (about his spirit energy filling an ocean to Yusuke's filling a fishbowl) were to be taken seriously, then his power, taking the smallest ocean (Indian) and a standard 2 gallon fishbowl, his spirit energy would be around 700 million trillion times more. It sounds crazy but if the power increase is on a log scale then it's quite possible. All the same it makes for some freaky power jumps, like Yoko being 152000 and Yusuke being 200017 could actually mean that Yusuke is 48017 times as strong as Yoko. Or Yoko himself being Minamino's energy raised to the 17th power.

Yup.. i'd say it's proven tbh. The differences in classes are exponential..even just lower class to higher of same class is. Dragon absorption is exponential and it took B class hiei to still mid B class hiei.. but was an "exponential" increase just the same. The fights.. Toguro especially.. the feats and especially air pressure feat consistency from toguro to sensui of B+ to S- and such... it's just straight proven to be exponential increases of at minimum x2 increases for every 10% PL rise in power.

0:40 Issue here is that the statement is never actually contradicted, therefore you have to assume it's fact. And in the dub at least, Koenma states that an A or S Class entering the human world would essentially end it. I'd actually say that when Yusuke gets measured by Yomi's man at 200,000, he was 200,000 at that point in time in relation to Dragonball Z. 4:30: Oh? Neat. I nthe snime, due to angles and the like, it appears as if he flexes his pecks and tanks the blast. I didn't think he used a shout at all.

Still the best Yu Yu Hakusho scaler out there… these big channels know nothing about the scalling

I wish Togashi didn't end the series so abruptly during the last chapter so we got to see more feats It gets annoying explaining to different people over and over again how YYH scales Especially to people who don't understand how AP/DC work More people need to be made aware of this

XD Yooo man! Ya.. we've been through the struggle enough (I've finally rid myself of comicvine though I may check in very seldomly from now on) and it's another reason i'm glad I have it in video form. The more accurate scaling can be shown, the better it is to fight against all the "no think" that happens. I'm actually starting to get into calcs here on the channel and am breaking them down to the cubic centimeter for AP. As I do this I really hope the understanding of AP becomes more and more understood cause.. again, we've seen the challenges lol.

With Yusuke being "primed to lose", I don't know if that's true because Yusuke was just getting used to his new powers. I think the further on they fought, the better Yusuke would have gotten at using his power. So it may have been more of a close fight than just Yusuke straight up losing.

Being "primed" for X doesn't mean that it couldn't be close... granted this video is too old and I don't remember each point or statement of mine but "if" this is about Yusuke vs Sensui.. ya.. i'd say he was "primed" to lose but it absolutely was showing it'd be close. Honestly i'd agree with more with everything you posted here except with "primed" to lose being an exactly wrong wording. But ya.. Sensui and Yusuke were "extremely" close by that time (still not 100% sure you're talking about sensui fight tho XD)

@@zaelleaz5644 In the video you said it like it was a definitive L for Yusuke if Raizen didn't take control, but I was just saying that's more up in the air given that as Yusuke fought with his powers more and more, he'd start to understand how to use it better. Sort of like when Goku first went into SSG, he said he was holding his punches because he didn't want to destroy the universe, but he didn't yet know how to focus the power more efficiently. Yusuke had just attained low S class power, so he obviously wasn't using it at maximum efficiency. He probably would lose if he kept fighting the way he was in the beginning, but as we know throughout the series, whenever he fights, he adapts very quickly. So I guess I'm just saying I'm betting more that Yusuke would have been able to adapt and beat Sensui on his own, although it would have been a closer fight rather than a stomp.

Hiei losing only 1 “one on one” match is VERY misleading… he lost to yuske one on one, sensei 3 on one, and to that woman in the mummy wraps one on one at the end of the series… so actually it’s not just misleading, it’s straight up incorrect

I never said he didn't lose other fights. He lost against Yusuke at the beginning too... but wasn't a 1v1. Sensui wasn't a 1v1. Mukuro fight was anime only and we have no idea what his fight looked like or how anything hiei related happened in the tournament. Hopes this helps your confusion on what I was saying.

It entirely depends honestly. In "general".. saying a person is 5d means they are actually talking about their "existance" rather than power and for whatever reason people take that as their power. You can be 10D and only be planetary and a 3d being can be multi-universal or even boundless. This is fiction and we have absolutely 0 "basis" by which to structure what an extradimensional being would be like and so with that + fiction being fiction.. it's not the end all be all that people make it out to be. Honestly.. say aizen or ichigo are 5D.. you can't really apply it crossverse as it doesn't "show" any 5d properties of anything.. they just strong while say another person may be above the concept of time itself and that person may even be sub planetary but capable of fully traversing past, present and future as casually as breathing. Something like that would essentially just be an ability and would apply crossverse.

Older video so I'm not sure but the only thing that has to do with these numbers is that EOS kurama was 1900. "Kurama" becoming yoko was an 80x PL multiplier. The only thing sensui has to do with anything here is that he "could" be lower in PL than kurama's 1900 PL. The 20,000 makes sense and I'm not against it but it's a completely made up number. 20,000 is never mentioned anywhere. It just fits based on yusuke scaling with hokushin

I wouldn't take them as 4D as the hyperspace isn't fleshed out enough for us to take it there. It's only possibly the case rather than "is" the case.

Vegeta mega stomps. Sensui is small planetary at best and DBZ scaling from just piccolo's moon feat is stronger than people thing.. believe it or not when basing/ talking about attack potency. Yusuke and Hiei probably top out at saiyan saga Vegeta tbh.

I previously thought they might be about the same because they both seemed to be at the lower ends of planet busting, but I never really considered the difference between small planets and medium to large planets. Do you think saiyan saga Piccolo (power level in the 3000 range by DBZ standards) would be a better matchup for Sensui then, or maybe if we want to high ball him compare him to Nappa?

I honestly think sensui would win, vegeta powered up and went all out in his fight and just tore up a few mountains, so if we believe sensui could blow up the earth by just powering up I cant see him losing

If you accept his statement as definitely true and he can destroy earth simply by powering up beyond 50% power.. he roflstomps vegeta no contest. But i've addressed my take on accepting statements that don't have feats or scaling as true many times already.

Naruto wins in DC only. In total joules YYH is decently ahead but in AP... YYH or yusuke specifically to Naruto is "extremely" ahead and given AP is what goes against durability... Yusuke wins with little to no effort. Yusuke also has the speed advantage and by a lot. @@princecheck11Yes every somewhat relevant character would be S class since the demon world fodder (or the avarged strength of a demon in demon world) are A class considering they were used as training goons

I think we need more evidence to suggest they are planetary. Remember Sensui was also trying to “destroy the world” by opening up the gates of demon world. It would seem to me that it’s a surface level feat, and not the planet itself. Unless you’d care to elaborate further...

Opening the gate was to simply allow demons to go into earth and let what happens happen. The whole point was him hating humans when he saw chapter black. "This" also however has nothing to do with any feat. The planetary AP comes from Sensui busting beheaded hill (country sized amount of rock) with simply the air pressure of a single punch. This is the same guy who is the weakest S class by many multiple orders of magnitudes to EOS Yusuke and Hiei and MANY more orders of magnitudes still for the 3 kings and raizen's friends. No scaling is coming from allowing demons into human world.

If Sensui is the weakest S Class why did his Sacred Energy completely protect him from the Dragon of the Darkness Flame, meanwhile Makuro was struggling with it before destroying it. And because it took a Yusuke possessed by Raizen to defeat him. 2. Was Yusuke at his strongest ever in the entire series when he was possessed by Raizen against Sensui or when he showed the mark of the Mazaku against Yomi? Or when he powered up against Yomi for the final blow?

@@mr5jr XD fire away the questions lol. 1) Hiei like the others had just risen to mid A class in power when trying to avenge Yusuke's death. They power up once more when he comes back but are still so weak that full power Yusuke and Sensui's aura would kill them. Sensui is still S class power even if the weakest of it. If i've shown anything in these past vids.. it's the absolute massive gulf in power between class to class. And it only continues to become more and more massive a gap as you go higher in classes. This is why he could tank his dragon with just his aura. As for why Mukuro seemed to struggle.. simply because it was non-canon anime only. This never happens in the canon and would make no sense. She would have to massively hold back to the highest degree (though she was holding back against Hiei in the anime). 2) He was at his strongest when fighting Yomi. This however is "also" vastly different from the anime. In the manga Yusuke never even remotely comes close to Yomi in power and instead Yomi feeling the entire cast's power says he could easily kill Yusuke, Hiei, Kurama, and all 6 of their S class freinds (chu and them) with but a 1/3rd of his actual power. When he was possessed by Raizen.. all that did was have Yusuke use the real power he didn't know how to bring out.. none of that was "raizen's" power.. it was Yusuke's power that Raizen brought out. Raizen possessed Yusuke is still massively within the low end of S- power. The most we know for a number on EOS Yusuke would be something like 500,000 being compared to Yomi's son Shura given he did fight Yomi for 60 hours with Yomi saying he was simply trying to enjoy the fight and held back with massive extremes.

@@zaelleaz5644 okay makes sense. To be honest I was basing this all off of a Yu Yu Hakusho power level series of videos someone put up 7 years ago. Dumb I know lol but I just wanted to make sure. Because they listed Yusuke at the beginning of his fight with Yomi weaker than he was when Raizen unlocked his power against Sensui. It would be cool if you made power levels video. I feel like it would be way more accurate. Also I have some questions about Heie but I’m going to watch your Heie video first just in case they’ve already been answered lol

medium to largerish sized islands is the minimum in that they can't be smaller than that. They "can" scale to country size but isn't as guaranteed.

So, for islands we have cliffs and such and "sometimes" we factor in the volume but most of the time we only look at surface area which.. is a hell of a difference. So i'll answer this and your last question in regards to volume since it's the entire volume that is part of the feat and not just the surface area. The Okunen trees "volume" come out to a "minimum" of around 15,020.900228228199918 km^3. Absolutely no smaller. This puts them at top end island size to country size in terms of all volume but not surface area. The Beheaded hill is country sized in surface area at "minimum" but is absolutely continental in volume or around 3,004,180.0456456399836 km^3 minimum to give numbers. Hope this helps. (Can't stress the minimum enough.. these are pretty big lowballs).

I haven't applied AAAP scaling to black clover at all so i'm not actually sure. In casual reading alone I believe Asta isn't even remotely close to Yusuke in AP or durability but may edge out good advantages with speed potentially.

In terms of speed scaling I seen people say people in black clover are like MFTL which is kinda nuts from a perspective of a regular reader and watcher. The scaling is also weird cuz some of the authors dont really keep all these scalings in mind

Like in basketball, the lowest ranked NBA playerwh o does not even play a game is closest to the best basketball player (say LBJ for now) than any average basketball player are close to that weakest NBA player.

Yusuke should be higher imagine if we use manga and anime merged that feat is counted when he pulled of a universal feat

I think you may be referencing the movie with Yakumo. Regardless, I only stick to main canon for scaling but yes.. otherwise they can easily scale to universal+ given the movie was only A class levels of power.

yes, with over 100,000 PL. Sensui was anywhere from around 5,000 -mid 30,000 PL at best as a comparison.

@@FireGodSlayer 20,000 is made up as a sort of in-between for the other numbers we get. Even the 5000 is made up and could be less. Basically, we never know Sensui's PL but know he's a good deal weaker than Hokushin who had a PL of 36,000 when he first met Yusuke. We also then have Kurama at a PL of a mere 1902 before killing Yomi's right hand in Yoko form. We have no idea if Base Kurama was S class while in that 1902 PL (base kurama fighting Shigure was anime only). 20,000 PL for sensui is a pretty good middle ground but it's not set in stone.

Demon world is blatantly more durable Sensui was the 1st to show this him barely powering up on earth had it shaking And in demon world his offensive armor clash with yusuke only made tornadoes and thunderstorms destroying nearby hills

Yup it definitely and 100% is. I think I say as much but hard to remember specifics for vids this far back but just note that it's impossible to say "how" much more durable it is. I'm sure I'd be more comfortable with a lowball by now though and apply it to the scaling.

If by bottom you're talking Lowest E class demons... then sub basic human in most stats. You're talking about the parasitic demons at that point that only take over and can kill humans because they can't be sensed. Such demons would be like the tiny demon Yusuke caught at the beginning of the series after coming back to life or the makai insects that controlled people (saint beast saga).

The only factor we know is that 1% Raizen is top layer 3 kings level compared to 100% full power Raizen who'd be at an unknown level of demon world.

@@uglyfish4164 I think that's the safe bet for minimums and is what I'd apply for "scaling" the verse. That prime raizen is actually the strongest... else.. it's purely guesswork. That said, based on what's said about demon world it really is a complete toss up and Yomi could very well just be a king of his section of a single layer.

Lol.. I mean ya. All of this is just a hobby. I "will" say that you can make objective proclamations however. Like.. if a guy can smash a rock in his hand then we have real world implications for what that means strength wise and such but at certain levels of scaling (the majority of it to be fair) requires math and numbers outside the bounds of what most anyone can agree on or what a creator may be having in mind at all.

You should read Twin star exorcists the anime is suck and not creditable to the manga anyway. My favorite manga though

Yes.. I would never say his PL isn't 2x higher at 90% than at his 45%. His "stats" however and how he scales is NOT only 2x higher.

Are you defining 4D differently or are you using the "infinitely above/more powerful than 3D" definition. If you are can you right now tell me that Kuwabara would no sell super perfect cell kamehameha? For example.. Do I think he could hurt SPC? Not with AP.. but his "hax" could cut the space SPC is existing in and by "proxy" and "only" hax, result in SPC being injured. I aknowledge what his "hax" can do.. it's properties. It doesn't make "kuwabara" 4D. Unless, again you're defining it differently.

This is cool and all... but Ichigo would stomped any of the yu yu hakusho characters

If bleach is your thing then awesome. I love bleach but.. Ichigo gets nowhere close to YYH in power if you scale both series the same. This scaling here is using feats and scaling only. For Ichigo to outpower YYH, you'd have to give him unproven statements for scaling but not do the same for YYH. YYH is simply the stronger verse in this instance.
