Hiei and the rest of Yusukes team has always been one of the best written 4 man groups in fiction. He definitely carried his share of Team Yusuke, but never pulled the story towards his direction aside from his sister shenanigans. Especially during the dark tournament, where Hiei shined as the most dangerous member of Yusuke's team although not the strongest, gave them some serious bite. Maybe I'm a bit biased, but I feel like other anime like Dragon Ball, Naruto and One Piece had the protagonist drag the rest of their respective teams kicking and screaming towards the finish line, or completely derailed their respective narratives. But I always remembered being excited for when Hiei would jump in.

Lol, I don't think it's bias man. I feel ya on the protags narrative doing just that in many many other series and it's always a bad feeling when you look at others that did something different. And ya, YYH has some of the best character development.. hell, even for the villains. It's a great series.

To bad Yu Yu was discontinued and the war arc was scrapped for a weak tournament arc. A war arc with Yusuke having to meet Hiei in battle would have been awesome.

10000% this. When YYH was still going, he actually wanted to end it with Sensui and the publication had him do one last season to wrap it up but he was so done he rushed it into what you see... it's really too bad.

One thing i adore about Hiei is how much effort he puts into looking cool and trying to make everything he does look effortless. When he uses the Dragon for the first time, Kurama notes he didn't have a choice, and was backed up against the wall, but the whole time, Hiei was posturing and gloating. And afterward, tried to make it look like he was just casually walking around with his hand in his pocket to hide his injury. I honestly think the reason he doesn't use his Jaganshi form after the first arc is that as long as he doesn't pull it out, Yusuke will always know he isn't going all out.

He was certainly my favorite of the show lol. Rivalry with Yusuke was amazing. History with Kurama was amazing and I guess... bickering with Kuwabara was always funny too. But yea.. he definitely knows how to "act" tough lol.

@@umarraja6161 Super happy to know you enjoyed it! Hiei is definitely my favorite as well (his whole archetype tends to be lol). So basically the Jiganshi form is of course his real full power from the Jigan eye. It massively increases his demon energy, speed, durability and AP by several times. You can actually see me cover the form more specifically in the scaling in this video here: kzread.info/dash/bejne/gnmAtcl_Y5e2lrA.html&ab_channel=Zaelleaz where I scale up to the end of Genkai's tournament as I actually have a mini series covering YYH decently in depth and in chronological order up to the end of the DT with other vids having already covered Sensui and 3 kings. As for the comeback, it depends on the writing. It's not a bad form at all and could "easily" be done right and so in that case.. hell ya, bring it back! But if bad writing crept in then I could see the form taking a massive dive in the coolness of it since it at least has mystery going for it having only been used once.

My boy Hiei is the GOAT! I guess Death Battle kinda lowballed (or downplayed) Hiei's speed to Sasuke's, because admittedly, I find it very odd to hear that (Or maybe Im a little bias lol) But having to see Hiei at Massively FTL and Large Planet level sounds like a fair placement (Now I just need to wait for Atari HMB on his take it) Plus, I wish we could've seen Hiei's Jaganshi form more often because we only seen it once in the series (Not counting the second movie, which might be non-canon. But seeing Hiei using his Black Dragon while in Jaganshi form is badass lol)

Finally somebody who power scales yuyu hakusho really I hope there will be more in the future. this manga/anime is always badly underestimated among anime fans when in power discussions and I find it utterly insane as they can pull off some stuff in this series especially when you start looking at class A and class S fighters and then we make the jump to upper S class which scale even higher than a lower S class. Hope my fav fox boy Kurama comes at some point and Kuwabara who is shockingly impressive thinking back on the dark tournament Kuwabara was able to keep sight of Rinku's speed for a bit. great video either way finally somebody talking about this amazing series in 2020.

I'm close to doing a video covering "how" people scale while going over what we see in places like comicvine and such. A lot of what I do isn't anime or manga or even just scaling specific but instead very logic driven. But in doing this video, it's looking like there may be enough for a push in covering more YYH in which I'd be happy to cover Kurama/Yoko and Kuwabara! Glad you liked the video! :)

I am looking forward to the day you eventually do cover Kurama and or Kuwabara heck even a few of the villains would be interesting such as Karasu etc. although he didn't stay alive that long in reality. I am assuming based off scaling and what you spoke of about B class demons Karaus would fall into being that baseline B level like Bui does. although I believe Bui may be slightly stronger than Karasu and would defeat him based off the feats he showed as I doubt Karasu could take a dragon from Hiei and live.

Thanks for this video I just found out about you and you are really good at scaling with yu yu hakusho and not many people make yuyu hakusho sacling videos I found out about yuyu hakusho a year ago from a game called jump force which is now my favorite anime game and I was like this yusuke guy looks cool and I'm gonna main him and then I decided to read the yuyu hakusho manga and it's now my favorite manga even though the ending felt just rushed or something I still enjoyed it and when hiei came to jump force I already knew I was gonna main him and I do now my main team was yusuke,hisoka,kagyua Now it is hiei,seiya,kenshiro so yeah I'm glad I found out about yu yu hakusho and I am gonna watch the anime sooner or later cause I know it is kinda different and I think the ending is different to

It's sad because Yu Yu Hakusho was my first anime. And it happens to be my favorite anime to this day. I hope one day it will come back with the time needed to do it right.

a good speed feats, at least in the anime, was against sensui. towards the end, he vanishes , despite not doing any damage, and catches sensui off gaurd.

It's too bad it's anime only too. It is the single most impressive scaling feat in all of YYH. There is not a single other feat in the entire series where a lower class fighter does "anything" close to this to someone in a higher class and this would be the point where the gaps in classes are at their largest. Truly insane!

Though seems hiei had insperation frmo vegeta, i like hiei more than vegeta. I like how argues with the main cast. Especailly with kuwabara. ^^ Like your contact around yu yu hakushi, considered yourself having another subscriber. I love the yu yu hakusho series, shame that most people i know dont really know about it. To me its probably one best shounen animes in my eyes.

Ayy, yea. While I don't really cover past scaling the series on my videos here, I totally love the story, the foreshadowing used... I mean hell, the character development like you're talking about is amazing. Even the villains have amazing character development. Definitely a great series. Also one of my favorite animes of all time but... the manga is "not" even close to as good as the anime :(. lol the anime follows very closely but the one liners and smart ass remarks and the in fighting and such is all gone from how the anime handled it. The anime also added a lot of things. 10/10 anime though. And TY for the sub! Really glad you like the vids that much!

@@darkgoddarkseid2824 Lol Hiei is planetary just like every other S class in the series scaling from Sensui who is the weakest of the weak of S class. All of them are planetary even Sensui. Shigure is stronger than Sensui though Shigure could mop the floor with him easily since he is of higher order of S class but still a lower S class as he is Mukuro's weakest of her army of S class demons.

@@darkgoddarkseid2824 Yes the Sensui statement would be a starting point also factor into the fact that straight away afterwards they leave to demon world and we never see an S class fifht take place within human world ever again take note that context also matters here and Togashi delivered in the context realm so while it is merely his statement we can take that statement as true if you want. but not even in this video does he take statements too seriously he even mentions so in the video so we get to the next part which he scales in the video the beheaded hill feat that rock is like large country sized. Sensui destroys that sucker the entire thing with just air pressure from his punch like the shockwave not even directly punching the thing the air from his punch busted the thing. and as we know things within demon world are both more durable and far larger than human world. Also keep in mind that they actually did travel to another planet jere. I missed that about yuyu hakusho but Demon World in yuyu hakusho is technically a whole other planet they reach through the hyperspace area they travel between. Human world is earth. So the beheaded hill feat we have if Sensui's statement and the conext set up in that part is not enough. now we know Sensui is the weakest of all the S class fighters in the whole series and others especially the 3 kings are FAR stronger than him scale upwards from him and there you go. Watch his other yuyu hakusho scaling videos he goes from Genkai tournament up to some of the dark tournament so you get an idea of how yuyu hakusho scales they get insane gaps between their power even those within the same class with just the smallest of a boost up. Even as early as D class demons we were seeing them jump up leaps and bounds.And we know that the power gap between an S class and another S class or an S class vs another class is gigantic twice as much. Yuyu hakusho is insane with its scaling.

I do believe DB would do well for sure however I also believe doing more with series that are actively still updating would do a lot for the series. Either way, I plan on getting to both sides at "some" point for sure.

With the power up upon Yusukes return after the death by Senzui Hiei also seemed to be the most eager to have a rematch with him and even stated if he fails he has his back in case of emergency suggesting the strongest contender.

I wouldn't know from when it'd be that I considered him winning harder than from another time other than from a "really" long time ago. This vid is already decently old so it'd been before I properly researched everything but ya... Hiei powers up and sasuke dies as Sasuke is Sensui level at "best" (would honestly lose to him) and Hiei would vape that guy with simple aura. Thanks for the sub! You'll enjoy the channel and will find many feats, scans, calcs and scaling all throughout. I have a bunch of vids based on logistics as well.

But man.. city level Yusuke. Literally impossible for him to be that low XD.. unless the debate was mid DT Yusuke. I'd of laughed that long too.

@@zaelleaz5644 Imagine a war arc where Yusuke struggles much more with Raizens Blood, and Havimg Mukuro And Yomi having to ally becaise Yusuke begins eating human flesh and begins terrozing demon world. I think the power scaling would have to ber nerfed or Hiei and Kurama approach thier repected rulers power. Just one of many thoughts i guess.

I needed some calcs for hiei is it ok if I have them?

Hmm, ayt so just a few questions, take your time to answer them though, since I keep looking for new ways to scale. 1) Isn't Ap = 2) So for Yu Yu Hakusho's the calcs that our team did was pretty much at Mach 50, Mach 717, Mach 1000+ or Mach 22000+. Ik u scale differently, but what was the reason for equating a 1 to 1 ratio, to speed feats? Wouldn't that appeal to invalid proof since Multipliers don't nessasirly equate to 1 to 1. Or did I miss something. Kinda confused on that, since if u can answer this question it kinda helps me out, since I can confidently put them at mftl. 3) The Ap section. Isn't large Planet destroying Saturn or Jupiter or planets of similar size? Saturn can fit in 700 earths. Jupiter can fit in 1300 earths. I wouldn't say just 100 earths is large Planatary. That would be planatary +. Wait hold on was the Ap u mentioned reaching to Ninatonnes?? Or was it still in the Yottatonnes? ^^ Take your time to answer.

1) No. There are many, many cases where AP isn't = to durability for a character. This applies to many spell-casters such as Raven in teen titans. You have those with more durability than AP such as Juggernaut in X-men. It's true that "most" characters have durability that scales to their AP but durability is such an important stat that i'll always add it in. So while in "real" life, producing X means they should be able to take X... anything goes in fiction and so it's not a given a character's AP is in fact = to their durability. 2) There is a verbatim "feat" that at absolute minimum has resurrected Yusuke at mach 7500+ to start. But for a 1:1 ratio on speed.. I agree that as you say, "multipliers don't "necessarily" equate to 1 to 1." I in fact "hate" when 1:1 ratios for power to stats is used... IF there is nothing that suggests it's the case to the degree of the power jump. Many times.. being 50X stronger in a series doesn't even bore out feats showing being much if any faster than a 2x increase. In YYH however.. it's absolutely "proven" and shown time and time again that a 10% increase in total PL is at minimum a 2x speed increase as I highlighted with Yusuke vs Hiei, vs Suzaku, vs Toguro (which happened repeatedly) and so on. With YYH, a 10% total PL increase to 2x speed increase ratio is NOT an assumption and has a "multitude" of feats backing and directly verifying it. It's when this ratio practice is used with NO verification that it's a problem. So basically, YYH has a "proven" ratio system and simply using power ratio to stats is only a problem if it's used under assumption... which most people do. That isn't the case here... at all. 3) Perhaps. Sounds like semantics because perhaps you're right.. but based on I suppose a site? Idk. In our solar system earth is average sized being smaller than the 4 gas giants but bigger than the 3 solid planets. And for example.. Neptune is the 4th biggest planet in our solar system (and is referred to as a "big/large" planet) .. and is but 57.7x bigger than earth. That's not much when I''m using 100x for a big planet. So both of us could be correct here since it depends entirely what you mean by "large" planetary. But for me.. even Neptune is a "large" planet and it's only a little more than half of my 100x planet (based on average sized earth) size statement. For the AP: energy = 3 G M^2 / 5 R The gravitational constant is 6.67 x 10^11 m^3 / kg sec^2 For earth, M = 5.97 x 10^24 kg and r = 6.37 x 10^6 m Which gives 2.24 x 10^32 Joules.

Oh, I should also note that for the speed I "personally" went with.. the 13.73 FTL I "didn't" use the 10% total PL increase = 2x speed increase at all. The other numbers are simply other options other people could use if they wanted.. especially the first one which is actually 100% valid since again.. the YYH scaling is "guaranteed" and I "still" lowballed it.

I'm well aware that isn't the case in all aspects especially when u count jojo characters, like Johnny. Infinte Ap, but has the Durability of a bullet. If anything Hiei's Ap is way higher since 10% to 2x increse gives u a greater than 1 to 1 ratio. The problem is you assumed a 1 to 1 ratio thereby Lowballing. The math is wrong in that regard. The number would equate to 10 : 1. 3) I agree I'm quoting VSBW. See I difrreciate Plantary Ap and Dc. Ap wise Anything above 2.7 yottatonnes, classifies as Large Planet. Your numbers put Hiei at Large Planet Ap wise. Dc usually just looks at overall destruction of Planets like Jupiter and Saturn. And yeah it's hella confusing in this regard. Which is why I classified the 2 separately. Thereby inventing it's own tier. Vsbw agrees with me however the admin is a douche, the other staff members are more component. I swear I love their calc team. Cipher is dope his calcs are the best sadly their powerscaling team sucks. But anyway I classify anything below saturn and Jupiter but higher than Earth as Planet +. An object just 50x the size isn't nessarily Large Planet. That's primarily due to the insane diffrence between Jupiter, Saturn and Neptune. The gap between Saturn and Neptune is larger than the Gap between Earth and Neptune. It's safer to assume Planet + or Neptune can be classified as a Planet. But then the issue would be the numbers would have to change from 2.7 Yottatonnes to 50× 2.7. Hmm, this argument kinda got confusing it's based of interpretation, I'll just drop this one for now. 4)

@@listmaker2023 You know i'll answer any questions you have so ask away lol. But ya. I "did" lowball the AP as well and the proven stat ratio to total PL would suggest how you did. This however was for the "purpose" of lowballing. I mean.. to be 100%.. Hiei's AP off of YYH proven scaling would be more so in line with Saturn than with Neptune but I prefer absolute minimums. As for AP vs DC. Just in case I wasn't clear.. which I hate being unclear lol. When i'm talking about large planetary AP and I'm talking about "busting" it. To me.. both those things (busting that is) can come from AP or DC. The difference is this: AP= amount of matter destroyed divided by amount of AOE of attack + to what level it was destroyed (vaporization/ fragmentation/ etc) DC= amount of matter destroyed. The other factors don't mean anything.. just checks how much was destroyed. And being as it's attack "potency".. we care to find how "potent" the attack is and potency is the "concentration" of whatever it is we're measuring. The more concentrated.. the more "potent". This is why a wildfire will have far more DC but far less heat AP than a vase of lava... because the lava's heat is far more "concentrated" regardless of the DC. I don't think Hiei has the DC needed to destroy even earth btw... because he doesn't have the AOE to do it. AP cares about AOE however because the higher the AOE, the less AP required to "destroy". For example (i may just be rambling and you know all this lol): if you have a giant rock the size of a building and someone destroys it with an AOE attack the size of a building.. the DC is that of that rock.... but the AP could be anything. It's NOT simply at the level of the DC. Because of the AOE, the AP could be as low as barely above rock level "potency" and yet, via the attack covering every part of the rock... the DC becomes the entire rock. Still not impressive AP though. The AP "could" be much higher though.. but this would be a bad "ap" feat "shown" for example. This is why Sensui busting beheaded hill with not just the air pressure of his punch but from the AOE of his human sized "fist" is so absolutely impressive. Because it is 100% AP doing the destroying and not simply DC. The energy of his fist (far stronger than the air pressure) is "concentrated" in that fist and to take his punch would be to take the entirety of his AP whereas a human sized person would take literally fractions upon fractions of the AP of a mountain sized AOE attack. Which again.. is why DC has nothing to do with durability.

The primary thing i'm led to question here is the part about Hiei being *born* A class. I don't think that's accurate. I recall him reaching A class before getting the Jagan from Shiguire that reduced him to C class... but i was always pretty sure that he grew stronger to A class over his time of growing up in Demon world. It wouldn't make sense for him to be born at A class and never grow stronger while growing up, while we're essentially shown that he's growing up and getting stronger. in any case, great video. I'm tend to be a lil cautious of delving too far in the scaling and measurements (perhaps because of some of the science knowledge i lack, or maybe because i always presumed people would just tune out because of how insane the outputs end up being)... but i appreciate this video.

You know, you may be right and I misremembered lol. Him "attaining" A class is obvious but not being "born" A class. I will however say that him surviving the fall he did would still require around low B class dura I believe at minimum. That said, even if he was born A class, I don't think that would mean he never grew stronger while growing up, the gap between low A class and high A class is bigger than Low B to high B and that's a difference of 45% toguro to 200% toguro in power for example. But ya, the only other thing i'll note here is that he actually was reduced down to D class power and not C class from the Jigan implant but really glad you enjoyed the vid!

@@zaelleaz5644 haha, yeah... how the hell he survived that drop in a sealed SWADDLE, lol... as a lil papoose lol, is crazy lol. i usually just chalked it up to luck, but it could indicate something about his strength/power at the time. and that's a great point about the differences between low and high -- and with a good reference in Toguro. and thanks for that correction -- from A to D, as opposed to C. i been lowballing his power increases over the series too much haha (i like to point out to people how he's the one we actually see -- or rather KNOW -- to have increased in power the most over the series... at least presumably based on the logic of moving up in ranks). There's a legit discussion to be had between who really even ended the strongest between Yusuke and Hiei. Hiei's dragon absorption and the dragon itself already shows to be stronger than what Yusuke dishes out hit for hit, he has the speed and a sword no less and he shows at the end of the manga he can tank a full powered enraged Mukuro hit straight to the gut.. something more powerful than Yomi at full power and well.. unlike in the non canon anime.. Yusuke never comes close to Yomi. None of this means Hiei really "is" > Yusuke but it baffles me people think he's even remotely far behind.

I also strongly dislike people thinking Hiei was an inspiration to Sasuke in Naruto. All they had in common was the uptight attitudes and that's about it. Hiei was much more honorable and had care for others than himself. Sasuke was selfish, he even tried to kill Sakurua who honored him deeply and all he did for years was use others for selfish gains even with Oriochimaro. He was just an emo brat with no loyalties and ties to anymore but himself for personal vendettas. There is a reason why we like Hiei much more than Sasuke. I'd want to punch Sasuke as hard as I can while Hiei I'd want to be an ally who has my back and he WILL have your back if needed. Kind of like the bond Goku and Vegeta developed in Dragon Ball franchise. Hiei is more comparable to Vegeta who actually displays honor. Sasuke is just a prick and why he's hated.

So can we give hiei props for the achievements hes made in less than 112 episodes to go from D class to upper S class lets call it S+class or super S class from his introduction he has came a very long way from a low class thug to tampering with to eventually Master the dragon of the Darkness flame in a matter of days to being able to control the black dragon and be able to to shoot multiple dragons at one time of to be able to control the size of the black dragon and its destruction power and capabilities all in less than 112 episodes Just for reference Vegeta didn't turn SSJ until 124 episodes and took Goku 95 episodes to turn SSJ of DBZ So for hiei to accomplish all that in leas time it took for Vegeta to turn SSJ and took Goku 95 episodes to turn SSJ of DBZ for for hiei to do that in less time than both of the strongest warriors anime has ever seen thats something and i don't think Many people know about or talk about it

Constantly shown rather. Definitely not the case for the entirety as Yusuke obviously outscales everyone hard during chapter black and even eclipses Hiei's speed fighting Toguro but he does constantly show to be the fastest for the largest section of all showings and ought be faster than Yusuke by EOS even all techniques considered.

Hiei never used his last Transformation where he turns green and his body is covered in eyeballs.

Ya, no problem. Answer is simply that everything you just said is anime only and that's not canon. I'm only addressing the manga. The anime > manga for entertainment though.

I don't remember Shigurei being stronger than sensui. Only makuros 2nd in command with the mask was. Hiei went from low a class to low s class by the end of his dungeon wars. Sensui had sacred energy and beat Kuwabara Yoko Kurama and hiei easily at the same time

Shigure wasn't Mukuro's 2nd in command. He was one of her 77 S class generals. Hiei like kurama and Kuwabara when Yusuke died hit mid A class power, not low A. Sensui easily beating 3 A classes is nothing to himself even... let alone Hiei who easily killed 500 as sensui ended up going offensive armor and now simply his aura was enough to kill passively. Why is shigure stronger than Sensui? Because he gave not beginning of season 4 Kurama trouble.. but EOS Kurama trouble. In the demon tournament we know who fought who and who they lost to in general. Kurama barely beat Shigure while then losing to one of raizen's friends. Kurama had a PL of 152,000. Hokushin by contrast had a PL of around 36,000.. this puts sensui at around 20,000 at best and could definitely be lower.

What I say is that unnatural elements such as lightning don't "necessitate" they be the speed of the natural element. So no.. I don't think his spirit gun is light speed by beginning of series because there's no proof it in fact can move at such speeds by then. It does however become ftl by "actual" feats and scaling later however.

Wait question tho. How is Yuskue not close to Rizens friends or the three rulers of demon world when Yusuke went toe to toe with one of them in the DW Tournament? Just a question. I just finished YYH last week and haven’t read the Manga.

Your last sentence is the answer actually lol. The manga is different... especially so at the end. The fight is barely shown sadly and it's not close.. at all. Yomi straight up tells them he could take everyone out with 1/3rd of his power easily if he wanted and such even.

By the end of YYH Yusuke kurama and hiei were all upper S class top tier S class He was A class up until he got the Jagan eye implanted the implant drained all his energy down to almost 0 when he came to eath and found fought and teamed up with kurama and fought Yusuke for the first time he was D class by the end of the dark tournament he was lets say upper B class By the time Yusuke dies for the second time and hiei kurama and kuwabara follow Sensui to the demon world he was A class When he went to demon world at the request of makuro he was lower S class by the end of the demon world tournament he was top tier upper S class

that's why Nen is the better power system

Everyone saying hiei is stronger than kurama, but as far as strength goes I'd say they are about the same, maybe hiei is a bit more powerful possibly, but kurama is way more intelligent... tho I think hiei is definitely faster... So if they got into battle I would say kurama would win, if not a draw of course

I think it would be an amazing fight between them on equal power levels. They may even be the same power by the "actual" end after the demon world tournament. The big problem for Kurama is that he, unlike Yusuke and Hiei only trained for half the time tending to his family for 6 months instead. He also struggled with Shigure while Yusuke and Hiei fought the only 2 kings left. Idk.. impossible to know for sure but it sure seems like Yusuke and Hiei kind of like Goku and Vegeta were set up just a bit above everyone else in power and such. Not to the extent as in DBZ but still noticeable.

Hiei and Yusuke are about equal by the end of the manga. how close their speed is I am not sure but it should be pretty close as Yusuke and Hiei were always two of the fastest on their teams.

@@darkgoddarkseid2824 I am not that familiar with One Piece to know all of it but from the parts I have seen and read Yusuke at the moment utterly stomps Luffy. not saying One Piece is weak and the admirals pulled some impressive feats but yeah Luffy ain't got it especially in raw AP a punch from Yusuke would knock him the heck out and likely he'd get blitzed pretty bad too. But keep in mind Luffy is not even at his peak yet so One Piece is technically not at peak power yet if I am correct One Piece is still ongoing so we don't know where they are going to max out yet. I think it would be easier to see where they stand at once they are done. End of Series Luffy could end up being insane.

@@Naglfar94 Yusuke punch defeat Luffy? Where did this conclusion come from? Luffy is one of the few shonen characters that doesn't have any energy to launch, and his specialty is h2h combat. Luffy was able to destroy Noah huge ship, which was the size of an island. At what point did Yusuke achieve such a feat on sheer strength, not spirit energy? Of course, I'm not saying Luffy would win, but I don't recall Yusuke big feats by brute strength alone.

I consider Hiei above everyone in Naruto, One Piece and Bleach except "possibly" bleach god tiers with newest feat/scaling though I haven't actually delved into it personally.

Oof.. faster. We talking movement speed... reaction speed.. or combat speed? Short answer.... yes. Long answer: Movement- EXTREME yes. Reaction- slight/moderate yes at best. Combat- EXTREME yes. Should be important however that I go by feats and scaling and don't factor statements with no feats or any scaling backing up it's truth value.

Yusuke vs Raizen.

To me, I think you have to prove that lightning based attacks in any fiction are not as fast actual lightning. Because kid Kakashi cut lighting in half, but Sasuke attacked Itachi with a Raikiri. I'm pretty sure Itachi even dying of ninja aids isn't weaker than kid Kakashi, so in that case, the Chakra enhanced lightning is faster. But it's usually just safe to say it acts like regular lightning.

To be extremely clear. The only person/people that need to prove a positive claim are those that make them. I'm never saying fictional lightning based attacks "can't" be lightning speed. They "could" be FTL.. they "could" have "any" property. All i'm saying is that fictional element based attacks don't "necessitate" IRL element speeds and therefore all those making "their" positive claim that: X element attack in series IS = IRL element speed is complete hogwash and is seemingly never backed by proof. The kakashi lightning bolt thing also is purely statement only in canon and Sasuke's Raikiri comes out faster than IRL lightning due to it's own actual speed feat. Speed is simply distance/time. I don't need to make the "assumption" the dragon lighting manipulated by sasuke is "actually" IRL lightning speed just.. cause it's easier to assume that than find what's most accurate and consistent for its speed. Saying it's usually safe to say it acts like regular element speed is not only lazy imo (purely for convenience)... it's also not logical once you get to many other elements of things that don't have speeds. Obviously even these posts here by us could be simply opinion but one of my favorite examples with such things is chess. Chess has a shared goal that both players accept. Take out the king. Now.. in scaling.. we can have a shared goal or different ones. If we have different goals then everything can be opinion. In chess, sacrificing your queen for nothing could to "you" be better than taking their knight for a pawn. Why "couldn't" it be right? It's just opinion ya? Well.. no.. we can "objectively" call out what is or isn't a better move in chess when we know a shared "goal". My goal in scaling is to be as accurate and consistent as possible. When that goal is "shared".. taking fictional element "simply" as IRL element is NOT (even close) to the best metric to use... objectively.

A lightning jutsu is the speed and power of person using it and how it's used.. not "simply" therefore lightning speed if trying to be as accurate as possible.

Actually hiei would be way faster than thousands of times ftl because keiko was able to watch light go in the sky and something has to be 10 times faster than you in order for you to be unable to see its movement making keiko 1/10 to 1 time lightspeed and keiko isnt even low e class level meaning a high e class would be 0.35 to 3.5 times ftl my evidence is that hiei is able to beat 500 A class demons making him 500 times stronger than each of them and hiei and he was a class above them meaning if you are a class above somebody U should be around 500 times stronger than them if an E class demon is around 0.35-3 times ftl so kurama at the beginning of the series would be 175-1750 times ftl and hiei is able to cut one of the saint beasts 16 times and kurama can't even see the attack making hiei 16 times faster than kurama at the time meaning hiei at that times was 2800 to 28000 times ftl and when hiei is c class he is 1.4 million times ftl to 14 million times ftl and when hiei is b class he is 700million to 7billion times ftl and when he is A class he is 350billion times ftl to 3.5 trillion times ftl and at the end of the series he is 175 trillion to 1.75 quadrillion times ftl

Whoaa, I will never use numbers like this for any series. Keiko or any normal human reacting to things way faster than they should be able to is a normal fictional thing that would be an outlier at best. Additionally, even us regular humans IRL can see/follow/react to lightspeed (aka, light itself) as long as it's far enough away. The distance away from you matters by a ridiculous margin. Multiplicatively so. Additionally, beating X number of people never necessitates you being X times stronger than those people you beat. Especially then to extrapolate that across all classes. The funniest thing about it all though is that your end numbers "could" actually be correct based purely off them all traveling through hyperspace that is filled with countless stars within it and doing so in a very quick time. But that'd be at least using a feat.

Bruh, I just visited russian VSBW and Hiei is absurdly lowballed there, Island level and High Hypersonic, plus high stamina based not on six months of fighting, but on him fighting with one arm 🗿

His literal feats at the time were simply and "obviously" above hill level as it was. Now it makes sense on Sensui being mountain-island level. Hiei in his jiganshi form is likely stronger then yusuke Hiei in his jigan form absorbs 2 dragon I remember hiei uses 3-4 dragons in the movie So imagine he absorbs 3 in his jigan form then fire the final form

I personally have jiganshi + dragon absorption being > Yusuke but being weaker if not dragon absorbed (dragon itself would still take a toll on Yusuke). The movie is non-canon so I don't factor it in but if it was.. he'd easily be the strongest lol

@@zaelleaz5644 hiei let just say jiganshi increaess hiei more like 2x and let say each dragon gives a 2x boost he can summon 2 if not more that is still a 6x boost lowball and base hiei is weaker yusuke it's not by that they are somewhaat comparable but jiganshi form is probably more like 3x or 4x and each dragon likley give more then 2x let just say 3x so at a midball he is 9 times stronger then base at a high ball 12x boost with 2 dragons and jiganshi

Sheeesh, with a lowballed scaling like that, the only chance of Sasuke beating Hiei is highballing him off of vague databook statements and novel mistranslations 🤣

As long as you don't do the same for Hiei then yea. Taking unbacked statements for Sasuke but only feats and scaling for Hiei would be the "only" way for Sasuke to win.

YYH is simply a far stronger verse like DBZ to YYH. Hiei is way stronger. To be clear.. I don't use statements that have no feats or scaling to suggest they are true for "either" series. Feats and scaling = Hiei is far stronger.

Verbatim.. what I think on databooks: They "can" be wrong.. hyperbole exists and nothing "necessitates" what's said within them must be true and can't be hyperbolic or anything else. Given this.. unless there is "any" feats or scaling to suggest the truth claim people give for statements within databooks or "any" statement on it's own.. it follows in no way to be as accurate and consistent as we can be... ergo, we "ought" not scale that way. Aka.. I scale in lines to be as accurate and consistent as possible. In terms of accuracy and consistency.. just on a conceptual level I would absolutely say i'm scaling correctly because I care about that very thing.. being as accurate and consistent as possible.

@@jamesclarke6433 Indeed they are. I actually cover this in other YYH vids. The only problem is that this is highballing and certainly not a scaling that is most accurate. Cause.. while they are said to be gods.. nothing dictates a level of power to the title "god". We see this exact thing in DBZ itself actually with kami/dende and such being extremely weak despite being a "god".

Ok here me out he absorbs a dragon and let's assume he get's an 80x multiplier each time. He then fires another dragon and absorbs that Is the second dragon also 80x stronger than the first one and if he absorbs the second dragon would that be a 6400x multiplier from his first dragon absorbed

The real answer is we don't know and it's possibly true. We know of course he can fire the 2 dragons but we just don't get to see him absorb 2 separately. He may not be able to. "IF" he could definitely absorb both dragons he can definitely at least fire off, I would in fact argue the 6400x multiplier from base as true. "IF" that was a proven thing he could do lol.

Okay dude first off, he was a D class demon worked his way up to B class and clearly held back against mukuro. Also yu yu hakusho. My favorite anime. Isn't just about power. Its about strategy, skills, techniques, intelligence. There is no such thing as who's the strongest out of the 4. They each have there own unique abilities and shouldn't even be judged, do to the sheer complexity and compelling nature of each character. Also you don't know wtf you're talking about.

First off.. he worked his way to upper S. He "did" hold back against Mukuro who held back against him in an anime only fight. No one said it's about power only either. If you think there's no such thing as any of the main cast being stronger than others then this is the wrong channel for you and follows into you even bringing up their natures as characters. I don't know how to tell you this man but... this is a scaling channel. I scale how strong characters are. Foreshadowing, character development, world building and more.. all awesome. Also not my focus. It's going to really throw you for a loop if you see the vids I plan on doing soon where I start doing actual calcs to show the power of different feats.

But he didn't even fuse with the dragon of the darkness flame. So to say he wasn't holding back. You're an idiot.
