Thank you for defending Islam .It is very hard defending Islam and living as a Muslim in Europe .it is very sad that women and men in Europe don't understand hijab.hijab are an order Muslim chose follow it or not burqas ,too . It makes you closer to God . So why they are very close minded about it when they call them selves open minded people?!!

@Bodellia Well I watched the seminar on tv and I´m interested in topics concerning cultures/immigration/integration/segregation. My oppinion is that we in Sweden could have a integration system that works better than it already does. There is so much potential/skill and experience out there not being used due too a system with flaws. People from other countries with educations and experience as engineers, surgeons, nurses, teachers working as taxidrivers, genetors etc.

Just saw a interesting seminar from Sweden with this woman as one of the speakers. She spoke of the problems with demonizing islam and the problems with not being tolerant to eachother, the hardship of being labeled as a group instead of being respected as an individual and so on. Very interesting and thoguhtful and I agreed with most of the things she said for a good 45 min of the speech. BUT then in just 2 minutes she destroys her own credability by...->

@mmartini50 well I agree on something you said. In many instances, moral wisdom may not need to inspire from any particular religion. But life is not just made of those few moral qualities. It's not just that simple. We have interact with others and there is quite a different definition of what is the boundary of relationship of different kinds, all claiming to stay within the "limit". But in a society with different views, who sets this limit? u can not prove God doesn't exist.

I was a Christian for the first 14 years of my life. I became agnostic for 5 years and then atheist after I turned 20. I know about the Bible and Qur'an. I'm not really interested in what those two religions frbid, but I know for a fact that Islam alows it.

i tried to read the quran a few years ago and found it repetitive and quite uninteresting. i felt let down as i expected it to be filled with war, amputations, stonings blood and guts. constant reminders of the wisdom, knowledge, and mercy of allah and loads of stuff about a yellow/golden cow. . . . . . . . .all left me cold
