@@val875 I think there's a HUGE stylistic difference between them. When nathan does quads they LOOK difficult. It's like he's bringing attention to how much strength and power actually goes into those jumps. But because of that he often lacks any sense of fluidity, every time I've seen him perform he just looks so stiff and rigid, it's almost like there's a sense of awkwardness when he's on the ice. And yuzuru does the exact opposite of that. his performances are pure artistry. He makes the INSANE jumps he's doing look completely effortless. It's literally like he's one with the ice when he's out there, no stiffness or awkwardness at all.

They must themselves prove their worth in front of him and get his place by their own merit, not by favoritism. Despite their fight against him, Yuzuru will forever remain the icon of skating, the king of ice, and the most popular throughout the history of this sport.

@@esterleng860 basically i think (cuz there’s a possibility that i’m wrong) that it means that most other skaters just skate and don’t really connect with the music, which makes it feel like it’s just background music rather than a part of the performance. whereas yuzu’s movements really connect with and complement the music instead. please correct me if i’m wrong. i am in no ways a professional at figure skating or dancing or music or anything like that
