I haven't listened to Cat in a very long time. Then, I heard Father and Son. This a.m. played it at my home and sat and just cried. I haven't a clue why. I just cried.

Cat Stevens isnt a singer. He is a poet and what a wonderful wisdom found in many of his songs. Sheer poetry. Im so glad he's gone back to performing. A genius!

The United States wouldn't let him into the country in 2004 for "unspecified security reasons". How could any sane person think this man would hurt anybody? His flight was not allowed to land in DC and was rerouted to Maine, 600 miles away where the FBI greeted him and put him on a plane headed back to England.

I am 71 now and remember buying the album tea for the tillerman in 1971. Loved it then and still do.

The Chilean audience is singing along to every song. Cat/Yusuf has such a worldwide appeal. He's a once in a generation artist

Cat Stevens was a big part of my life. I drove from Los Angeles to New York City and listened to his tapes all of the way. I was all of 18 years old and drove a pale yellow VW Bug. Good times indeed 1972. ♥

and I'm 81, and come here from time to time just to hear the singer I knew as Cat Stevens. He is wonderful to watch and listen to. He doesn't need all the lights and noise on the stage, just by himself he is a great entertainer and I close out the concert with him in peace and joy.

Stumbled on to this concert and KZread old concert footage from the 1970s when I saw him in concert. Had an older sister and brother who would take me to concerts to see my heroes like Cat Steven's. I would play his albums over and over again in my room. We need more artists like this today to soothe our minds and souls.

I am 65 & bought & listened to this album when it came out. I recognized there was a spiritual aspect to it. It was part of the hippie revival happening in those days. But I was young and not so much a part of that. Yet I always like this album & listened to it often. At age 33 I was born again & now at 65 I have granddaughters in their 20's. One born again & one lost in the world. They do not have the rich music we had back then so I share these old tunes with them. Thanks for posting it.

Wow! What that must have felt like. Young , with friends in the biggest most alive city in the world with nothing to stop you. With one of the best sound tracks playing in the background!! Sounds like how a million movies start! Hope you had fun. We should all thank our lucky stars we lived in some of the best times that ever came down the pike!!

Truly an American icon.....and now im too broken to speak..mesmerizing, and always indescribably wonderful all rolled into one the greatest of the great...thank you for being there.

Astonishing seeing how much he can still move a crowd. The man crying during Sad Lisa is so touching (29 mins in). I totally get his spiritual conversion. Mind, body spirit in harmony is a good place to be in this world that is awash with materialism and the 'me me me' society.

Born in Feb of 1957, I saw Cat Stevens at the Shell Waikiki, in '76, when I was 19, and he was absolutely epic. He had all of his best songs out by then and he played them all.

Some things never get old! His song's are so timeless, I wonder how far into the future his songs will reach.

I discovered his music way back in 1972 when I just entered college. Till date he remains my all time favourite. But today when I chanced upon this video, I went head over heels... Thank you Cat Stevens... You made my pandemic claustrophobia disappear in a whiff!!! And what a performance at this age!!! Hats off, my HERO...

Father & Son is the first song I taught myself on the guitar! I just heard this beautiful song on American Idol again sung during Disney Week by one of the top 3 finalists...Iam Tongi from Hawaii. I know he'll win!

I love that I still remember all the words. I can’t count all the hours sitting in the dark with headphones on during college in the 70s. Foreigner Suite is my favorite. Thankyou Cat/Yusef. 🥰🎸🎶

I can relate to you. I would always put my headphones on and listen to How can I tell you a million times and cry my eyes out. Still cry at the song. I absolutely love it !

I love Cat's songs. His greatest hits got me through a dark period in my life. Singing along with Cat in the car brought moments of tears and joy.
