It seems that the Cuban sound engineers are quite good at their craft... You should listen to Rick Wakeman's live concert Made in Cuba (also here in KZread) exquisite... Also Cuban musicians are quite good as said by the members of the Dead Daisies... "music flows in the streets"

Voice is now very strong. The fragility of the early days no longer in the forefront. Must have very good technique and training.

I was working on creating curriculum before the start of the school year ‘21-‘22. Tedious work, but Simply Red lifted my spirits and allowed me to finish. I am so happy to have rediscovered them. Now, I cannot get enough of them.

As a singer and performer, this is a masterclass in every aspect of singing, stage performance, arrangement, sound and video production. I´ve always admired him, but was expecting the usual deterioration of the voice that usually comes with aging. His mastery of his instrument has actually improved. His dynamics and expressiveness combined with flawless technique is sooooooo inspiring. Simply Beautiful!

Lo que ud dice en el sentida estricto de la palabras "epicentro " por supuesto que tiene la razón ,así es. Me refería a que Ese Teatro representando Cuba ofreciendo ese concierto de rock. Sencillamente eso.

This guy is like a good wine and the music is timeless. A perfecty arranged and passionated performance in a beautiful location. If you are older than 40 you probably know most of the tracks.

I'm 39 from Bosnia and I know most of this songs from my childhood, despite war and shit with not having electricity some of these songs hit the charts. Few years ago I found out Mick and I share the birthday and I atribute that to the fact he's one of the few mellow acts I can listen, being into little bit heavier music in my youth. But Symply Red is world known and widely loved band.

The way this concert was filmed was simply cinematic. The lighting, camera angles and the whole performance was fantastic. I only planned on watching one song and ended up watching the whole concert. Just brilliant.

I am amazed at how the Cuban audience is so respectful. There is no yelling and screaming whistling people up dancing around. Although they did make most of this concert just him singing acapella with a minimum of musical accompaniment. So different from say. which I just watched.. Live at Trafford.... which i just watched. Watched so much of this for so long I can sing most of it by heart. What an awesome band. OK I can see at the end after they crank the music up then people in the audience start dancing...... how could you not??

Ich bin von diesem schönen Konzert überwältigt. Selbst schon 63 Jahre alt, habe ich Mick Hucknall als junger Mensch immer bewundert und ich tue es heute noch. Und hier: Was für ein schönes Theater, was für ein tolles Orchester mit all' den schönen Menschen, und das Ballett natürlich nicht zu vergessen. was für ein zugeneigtes Publikum, die, fast schon Evergreens, unvergeßlichen überaus melodischen Songs von Mick. Am Ende war es dann soweit "If you don't know me by now" und meine Tränen rannen. Ich wäre so gerne dabei gewesen. Tausend Dank an Euch alle aus Berlin!

Thats awesome, I'm 70 and still enjoy listening, I actually got hooked when I was watching MIAMI VICE (back in the day w/Don Johnson) they played a song in one of the episodes which was "Picture Book" and I saw at the end, the credits said music by Simply Red...and bingo I started listening to all his music, and my kids now love him too, and my grandaughter..his music is amazing! Went to 2 of his concerts in Los Angeles. He's a blessing to the music industry. Music is Life

Just found this concert out of nothing. One of the best live recordings ever. Perfect HQ video and sound recording. Perfect show by Simply Red. Great Set list. Amazing and spectacular musical arrangements. A must-see for everyone who enjoys high-quality musical entertainment....

This man is pure talent, with the voice of the universe. His real talent is to choose who he works with. Together they become one. There are very few with such ability.

I often spend my evenings (headphones on) listening to music. This is one of the finest concerts I`ve watched. The concert is a masterpiece. God bless you Mick Hucknall.

I echo everything you say. Would you believe me if I told you I sat at 12 pm tonight and started humming a song with 2 words and a few notes I remembered. It bugged me so much that I couldnt remember the artist or more words to search on you tube. I went to something that felt similar and knew it wasnt right. Next thing this was suggested. I was totally amazed that this was exactly what I hummed. Unbelievably exquisite performance. I cant believe his voice is so amazing...the jazz feel the romantic tension..smooth ..i can carry on. This was a special gift to me from the Lord tonight.

He's not underrated imo, it's just there are a lot more artists now but Mick has always been there. As an 80s child I've always been a fun of his and really nice to see he's still going strong 💪! One of those artists who transcends race, genres and generations. I just love 💘❤ him!

There Are Not dancing on the up tempo songs as well. The audience is just dead.

Mick always sings from the soul and over the years always listen to band in my car to keep me remembering the beauty of life and love with stories of faith and forgiveness. So uplifting ,poetic and innocent. I'm 52 now and thankful to simply red for their contribution to my life. So much talent and Mick your vocals never disappoint. I have seen him in Seattle about 30 years ago, and recently I stumbled upon this video. What a treat! I love music and saw many concerts, and sometimes I was a bit disappointed seeing my idols not performing the way they used to. In this case, the band just got better. Great music, great musicians, great performance!

I'm cuban living abroad and I'm so emotional looking at this gig. Simply Red is one of the best bands ever and these arrangements are just beautiful. Blessings

Nick es parte de la banda sonora de mi vida en la musica. Ese señor, cada dia canta mejor. Yo compré ese DVD cuando salio y lo conservo como algo muy valioso.

Simply Red is Simply AWESOME, hands down.

The production's top-notch quality shines through every aspect. Cuba's musicians set incredibly high standards, exuding pure elegance. The meticulous attention to detail is evident; this concert flows seamlessly, with Mick, the chorus, and the band fully at ease. The sound engineer and musical director have everything impeccably managed. The Cuban symphonic orchestra's performance is flawless, and the choreography strikes a balance between pure joy and professionalism. Cuba's musical legacy in the '50s as the crown jewel of the Caribbean wasn't without reason.

Im 27 and have grown up listening to Simply Red thanks to my mom. Definitely their music has a big role in my life and no doubt why... it is the finest!

Mick Hucknall is a genius, and a very great gentleman. I follow simply red since I was 13 years old. I felt in love for the very first time with a music band .

I think I've watched this video concert dozens of times now. Absolutely perfect! Love every minute of it.

Mick Hucknall motivated my interest in fashion designer Paul Smith. I've been a fan for years. This was a phenomenal show!

Oh this show is amazing ,simply amazing.If i could hold back the years. so that my wife could be here with me. She used to like to hear Simply Red .I am 81 and still love to hear him sing

I'm from France, and I've been a fan since my teens until now...Simply Red, you always keep your lovely voice! I love the modern classic orchestration, congratulations to the violinists, pianist, bassist, guitarist, and choristers, I would have loved to attend... Congratulations again Simply Red

Phenomenal guy and that voice so beautiful. I first heard him when I was in my late 20s and man I just loved him and still listening at 58 years old. Outstanding Performance. Cuba your so lucky.
