Actually some people think Yuna is stronger in her technical elements but she's also PERFECT in artistry. If you look at her 2012-13 season free program les miserable, she's just... perfect. It's a bless to have her on earth. I miss her so much😭😭😢

Aemxyl Choi ahhhh that program is my favourite its just perfect! Her jumps the performance - PHENOMENAL!

height, distance, deep edges, everything is superior and textbook. not to mention the huge delayed jumps!

And after every jump, she goes back into the program, smooth.

Her triple loop, despite leaving it out of competition due to injury, is actually one of the BEST triple loops I've seen. She just hovers in and out of it...gravity defying.

facts. all the footage i have seen of her loops are pretty grainy and old but you can see its textbook.

Lizzie Wang... it s different era though. And female russian junior who does quads so far in international competion is only sasha and with the russian we never knew how long they will last. Because like eteri said, russian FS are for girls. Beside the 3Lz is still quite a tricky jump even for now with how few female skater actually can do it right and not flutz.

why did she never do a triple axel?

roter13 You know what? In the figure skating sports fewer than 10 female skaters tried triple axel(even not perfectly). Why do you think that yuna should try triple axel?

roter13 triple axel needs so much energy that skaters get exhasted which can lead to mistakes after the axel jump. also they easily make mistakes during triple axel. skaters usually try other triple jumps and so did yuna

she's not a power jumper, she relies on technique, so cranking out the 3.5 rotations just wasn't in the cards for her. Most of the guys rely on technique + power + it helps that they have completely flat tiny chests which makes it extremely easy to rotate (look at the builds on Hanyu and Fernandez)

This might also explain why she never mastered triple loop technique. Both loop and axel are edge jumps that require power

when she was junior she did that in practice she was full rotation with beautiful right edge n even entra was very fast n powerful in junior her 2axel was just like textbook also if she didn't stop practicing her 2axel'll be on top n of the female skater no one can't follow her all jump not only 2axel
