    Possibly my favourite fight in all anime, sound design and how well the animation and music are knitted together like a masterpiece. Trivia for those who didn't notice. They remixed the same song that The younger brothers died to for this fight, and honestly, it brings a tear to my eye on how tradgic the story between these four characters is and oh how i love it. Just like everyone thinks, 4:05 is a great scene with the music because it conveys the feeling of "Is it over?" and then it continues. Many times during sparring I've been hit with something that made me think "How much damage did I just take? Can I keep going?" and it lasts for about 1 second. In that moment I stop briefly and the anime conveyed the same thing excellently

  • @SassyRiolu

    @SassyRiolu

    6 ай бұрын

    I like to see the music as a projection of Yuji's thoughts. The track that plays is a orchestral rendition of the song REMEMBER from season one. They decided to mainly use trumpets, which make so much sense once you realize that this track starts playing after Yuji takes his first heavy hit and affirms what his objective is. It shifted from winning, to going down as a noble sacrifice. He obviously still fought with the intent to win, but he subconsciously decided that he was willing to even go as far as to lay down his life in order for everyone else to save Gojo. As such, trumpets are a perfect fit if this is how you choose to interpret the music as his thoughts, as in music theory trumpets represent prestige and nobility. The hit he takes at 4:05, can now be seen as his thoughts getting clouded. A sudden impact like that can leave you staggered, even if just for a brief moment. Once he brings his head back into the game, the music kicks in once again. And finally, the best representation of this interpretation is right at the end 4:50 . Yuji thinks he's finally got Choso where he want's him. The hit is all but guaranteed, and he is left with nothing but the anticipation of his fist connecting with Choso to land the finishing blow, only for it to be interrupted by an unexpected sensation. Completely bewildered, the objective he had in mind has completely phased out. In a complete state of shock, his mind goes blank, and he's left pondering about how his checkmate got completely turned around.

    Man idc what nobody’s says itadori fought until the very damn end. Literally Blocked an attack that exceeds over the speed of sound while caught off guard mid air in the beginning ,stabbed through both his feet, shot with a not fully compressed piercing blood,and then has his liver pierced by something bigger than a 223 bullet and still managed to fight back faint and stay standing. For a 1st year that’s been at Jujustu high for several months with no CT or DE to make it this far i give him his props🤷🏾‍♂️.blood manipulation is one of da most broken and most OP technique in the Kamo family.choso would’ve died if itadori hit his left side of his rib cage but it’s alright he did his best against a 150 year old being.even after that final blow from choso itadori was still breathing so idk why everybody saying he’s weak.any other 1st year would’ve died in mere minutes(besides yuta)

    in Shibuya alone: lifted 2 veils, alerted about Gojo's seal, fought and won against the old man curse user, fought and won against the praying mantis, fought Choso and Mahito (winning against the latter). Only 15 y.o., simply remarkable. Not appreciated enought, specially since he has no CT / Domain Expansion yet, with less than 1 year of Jujutsu Experience.

Itadori was definitely superior in hand to hand combat here, just going against someone with far more power. That being said, Choso is (spoiler) 150 years old, so I’m not surprised that he can routinely get the upper hand on certain interactions, even if Itadori outclassed him more often.

    It's wild that this whole bathroom fight is like "Here's a scientific reason why blood-control doesn't work in a flooded environment, also neither of these two characters know that." Like, Yuji should have at least guessed that the water was washing the blood away or something, but without Mechamaru there to explain it, all he knows is that he has an advantage now. Meanwhile, Choso doesn't understand anything (because he 'lacks combat experience', apparently) and has just resorted to raw fisticuffs

    Unusual pick, but by far my favorite bit in the whole fight is when Yuji hits a middle split out of nowhere, and uses it effectively in the fight's context. Characters like him, Toji, Maki, Rock Lee, and even Gojo in some cases, are so charming to me with the physical focus their abilities mostly surround. It's manga, it's anime, and it has manga and anime bullshit for the spectacle of it (no hate towards it, shonen battles go hard), but i love these little touches of realism, here and there, with the human body in such an exaggerated context like this one. Good shit
