Fr I rank it above Maho v Sukuna, the animation there is lacking unfortunately although incredible directing nonetheless. But this was had everything, physical counters along with special abilities, it had stakes tension and critical thinking on Yuuji part. With Sukuna we know he solos, bro was having fun destroying everything so it was more of a flex then a fight, kind of like Toji v Gojo round 2.

Even after watching the latest episodes with Sukuna and Toji, this is still my favorite fight in the anime so far. The cinematography, lighting, and choreography gave me late 80's anime vibes. And of course that reference to The Raid was pretty awesome.

god i love this anime's soundtrack

The fight sequence is just so great in this one. Choso who strength lies in range combat but if need be is competent in close combat too is well aware that yuji is a close combat fighter so he deliberately draw considerable distance from him to play it safe with attrition management to wear him down and ensure victory over him, but also was improvising when being lured into the confined space restroom knowing that is yuji's advantage predicted that he would use his injured inactive arm for his finishing blow. Choso is strong.

The complaints aren’t about this scene. Don’t misapply the criticism just trying to discredit it. Some episodes have had some pretty shoddy looking scenes, a noticeable dip from the first season. Most the show still looks great, and considering the time crunch that’s pretty impressive. Wish people would stop getting so butthurt over criticism. It’s fine, you can just admit animation looks bad sometimes.
