It also became one of the treasures in the Jujutsu world but it was lost after this battle. It caught Gojo more off guard because he depended on his cursed technique more than anything and that became the most fatal for Gojo.

No black flash is something that no one can pull off consecutively it happens when someone uses cursed energy 0.1 second before the punch lands

The only time Gojo was the closest to death. The debate is what if Gojo had Red and Purple in the first fight, would have Toji been defeated earlier? I think it was the surprise element which killed Toji. I am sure Toji would have found a way to counter the purple, had he known about it. He was that much of a genius.

Round 2 was close as well. Toji lost cause he didnt know about purple. In general you could say that the fight was a RCT diff lol. Both got surprised by the enemy , but Gojo got a 2nd chance thanks to RCT, Toji didnt. Maybe a 3rd round where both of them are aware of the enemy's attacks would be the best

The part that always drove me crazy was the fact that he parried Gojo’s attacks with a weapon that destroys cursed techniques under usual circumstances. It destroyed Limitless, and should be able to destroy red and purple too. Gege is known for writing an inconsistent plot hole filled story though I guess

I love how concerned gojo was during this fight, for the first time he was becoming more of the hunted instead of the hunter.

the fact that Gojo was not only floating the entire fight and didn't touch the ground ONE time, he also learned a cursed technique and admired his surroundings at the same time. most notably, he didn't get hit throughout the duration of the entire fight. Toji was right, he's a monster!

I mean he stabbed him square in the head. I think most people would assume the person dead. And at that time not a single sorcerer could've survived that. Add to that gojo wasn't known to have RCT. you could say that him suddenly unlocking RCT at the moment of death is plot armor but toji not beheading him isn't.

He stabbed him in the head. Its reason to think he would kill him for that. He did not know Gojo could use reverse cursed technique because even Gojo learnt that while dying. Its not plot armour.
