Also, we don't get to draw a card going first anymore. The amount of powerful engines that exist would make going first even more of an autowin that it already is.

I don’t know if anyone noticed this but the order the sacred beasts were summoned is the same as the student ranks from lowest to highest Kinda makes me wonder if Kagemaru was the one who made the rank system not Kiba and decided to design it with the sacred beasts in mind but chose to use the names of the Egyptian god cards so no one would suspect anything

I still think Kaiba created the ranks solely because Obelisk is the highest rank, and Slifer is the lowest lol. Kaiba thought Obelisk was the best because it was his God card, and of course he wanted Slifer to rank lowest just to spite Yugi. If we took their actual strengths into consideration, Ra is suggested to be the strongest on a number of occasions, at least in the anime.

It wouldn't even be broken since you'd still go minus 3 for a 3k beatstick with immunity to traps and a decent backrow removal which wouldn't be useful turn 1. The revive effect is decent but your unlikely to have a trap to discard without awakening.

And if it's intentional to run that kind of engine if it was real, and your opponent couldn't counter it, it still would be a hard thing to get over. Especially if you draw traps yourself and choose to discard them because there's no exact position on how the traps should be.

Accesscode Talker, Mirrorjade, Knightmare Unicorn, etc. Even back when it came out, the card would be mediocre because of its specific cost of trap cards for a beater with no protection.

@@Red-Rebel I know. Before beatsticks used to be very intimidating, and the anime LOVED to make us think they were as well. But if they have no other benefit other than just a lot of attack points to their name, all that power means nothing. Even Blackwing Armor Master would be good to use to wipe out Uria's attack points because of the wedge counters it's able to place on monsters.

Also the way they attack Uria & Slifer: Form a hot, bright orb in both their mouths and can fire a that orb as a stream (though Uria can use both mouths for that) Hamon & Ra: Can attack with a bright & hot from either their mouth or their entire body. Both have 4000 atk and def. Obelisk & Raviel: Attack and crush with their hands. Their effects let them deal more damage in addition to attacking. Are the easiest to use of the 3.

Elemental Hero Kagemaru!

An easy way to have finished off Kagaru would be just break the glass and cut through any of his tubes. Then he’d just be immediately dead or dying before the duel even starts. Or even throwing some rocks at the tube to crack/break it, he’d likely die from the glass shards and the fluid leaking out.

The sacred beast cards remind me of the Egyptian God cards

I love Kagemaru's voice. He sounds like a bousie slob or Zarbon from DBZ

I've enjoyed this, but there is a big difference between the Sacred Beasts and Egyptian Gods plot. For the Egyptian Gods, the arc spanned a whole season and we were introduced to them gradually over the season. The Sacred Beasts arc also lasted a season long but we only see the cards at the same time in one duel.

with the sacred beasts, does one necessarily have to say I sacrifice my (Type of card here) to summon each one of them? and does one when dueling never say the physical name of the spell or trap when flipping a spell or trap face up unless either type is of a certain category, or even than no?

Not necessarily Each Sacred Beast requires its own specific tributes. Calling it out, while isn't required, is more for your opponent. As every disruption (Solemn judgment as an example) allows for the Cost of the card to still be played before negating the summon, thus losing card advantage.

@@nathanlabate1329 I see, it is not necessary to say I sacrifice my monster cards, my spell cards, my trap cards to summon Uria/Hamon/Raviel Calling out what I am sacrificing for them is opponents choice more than it would be mine to bring them onto the field for my own spell and trap card effects would I call for that before or after my opponent says they are activating their face down card or cards? (do I never say any names before flipping these up, as I have made that mistake in casually dueling, where if I am doing so competitively I absolutely can not afford that type of mistake at all whatsoever) I understand that with each disruption like solemn judgment allows for the maintenance cost of half the LP to be paid, than negating the card thereby destroying it to happen Card advantage is lost at that moment if I am correct

Yeah, if a hero monster has less attack, it gets 1000 points, but only whens IT attacks, then it goes back down. So when Tempest got hit the first time, Jaden should've lost 1200 points, not just 200.

Anime Skyscraper activates whether the monster attacks or is attacked, one of many small differences (Looking at you Bubbleman). Its never stated, but is consistent throughout the series. What's really funny is how Dark City did not get the same buff later on with Aster 😂

Because this all happened because of Atticus and Chazz stealing the keys to the Sacred Beasts.

Jaden was too soft on Kagemaru, I believe he would deserve to get his butt kicked.

Skysreper works only when he atacks so he should have taken 1200 from urai and kagedamaru was smart he would have destroyed that trap so jaden would lose sky skraper literaly if they didnt cheat like that jaden would stand no chanse
