I have the Soho in black. Your review was really accurate. I now use it as my everyday purse. It fits so much stuff in it! I just ordered the YSL in the grey (looks like an army green in some of the reviews).

Your review of both bags are spot on. I was so torn between the two, but when Saks had a giftcard promotion, I went with YSL and cannot be happier. Have the Mini Lou in grey. Like you said, the leather is the main selling point. It's INDESTRUCTIBLE and super elegant at the same time.

Both are lovely bags. The mini Lou fits so much. I was on the fence about the size but I think it is big enough for me. I have the bigger ysl Lou camera bag which is the same size as the soho disco. I love it. I think that size would be a better comparison if someone is trying to decide between the soho disco and a ysl camera bag. Anyway I think you’ve convinced me I need the mini in white! I love my Gucci Soho Bag in the same beige color but when I saw ur video, this YSL Mini Lou cant get out of mind. And finally after almost a yr waiting I decided to give in. I literally placed it the cart and checked out 🤦🏼‍♀️

Thank you for this! I owned the Soho but sold it because I wanted to upgrade to a full size bag...but now I regret it and wanting a small one again lol. So I thought about repurchasing the Soho or the small GG marmont camera bag, but then I came across the YSL and love the look of it so much more. I think the YSL wins :) thank you!

Hi. Really great video. I recently treated myself with Gucci soho disco in the same colour ( rose beige). I am terrified to used it with any dark clothes. You mentioned that you have no colour transfer on yours. Do you treat spray it with anything? If yes, what do you use.Thank you.

That's the thing with bags. They just aren't a one size fits all. I have issues with bags that stick out too far from my side. It always annoys me! haha

I typically lean ysl. I have three ysl bags and i love them. For some reason Gucci is generally not my vibe. Ysl has a slight elegance around it for me because of the logo that i think is more versatile for casual and dress up. But great comparison!

I completely agree that YSL just has this classy and elegant feel to it. They have been coming out with some beautiful bags lately. I have been eyeing the medium Lou Lou bag in beige :)

Thanks so much for watching! I agree that the Gucci Soho disco doesn't hold it's shape as well. I think it is more of a casual bag, so it doesn't bother me too much. I do think the YSL mini lou camera bag will hold its shape better. The leather is a lot sturdier. xoxo

The YSL camera bag does come in another size that's comparable to the Gucci Soho bag

Oh no 😢! Did you end up getting the gucci soho or the YSL. The sides of the base on each of my bags were not caved in at all when I purchased them. It sounds like you may need to exchange because that doesn’t sound normal

I have the gucci soho and is my worst luxury bag ever. It just broke on several parts. On the corners inside and the zipper. I die not even use it for one year unfortunately i bought it got pregnant and wzs in back to back precnancies on bedrest. So started to wear it just after the waranty was going out and it broke beyind repair. Im pristine on bags and solt most when im done in pristine or mint condition
