Loved hearing your petite perspective. I see what you mean about the non-adjustable strap, I don't mind in flap bags where you can figure out a hack to shorten them, but camera bags not so much. I've thought about adding this bag so many times, I love it as an everyday crossbody. Thank you for sharing❤

Right? I am in heaven when I come across bags with an adjustable strap. I would to wear this bag as a shoulder style and get a little bit more functionality. It's a great grab and go crossbody camera bag. Have a wonderful week Mary!

Very detailed and helpful review Jamie ❤️ I own two of the bigger casual Lou camera bags in nude and dark red and I never use the tassels as they fly around because they aren’t attached. I have had my eye in this smaller Lou style but wish the strap was detachable for different options. It looks like a bag that would be a more affordable luxury option so I may get it black or a fun pop of colour like yellow or hot pink :)

This is a bag I've had in the back of my mind for a few years. I love the navy or yellow shade! I hadn't seriously considered it until I sat next to a woman on the train who had it in black, and I realized the pictures don't do it justice! The leather and hardware are even prettier in person! I've also gone back and forth partly because of the tassel. I've seen some go very wonky, and it makes me hesitate. Thanks for sharing your thoughts Jamie!

Go for the mini lou with vintage cold hardware. My lou has the vintage plate. I got rid of the one with the shiny gold.

I love ysl bags. I have a few of them but not this one. I do have the bigger one and I love it. I do t like non adjustable straps because I am petite (5’2) and a size -small so straps are sometimes too long. How tall are you? Thanks!

@@luxpetite it’s in the burgundy color called rouge legion. It is my perfect burgundy shade. I use it a ton in the fall and winter despite having so many other bags. The leather is smooth but totally carefree and durable. Not a scratch on it after 2 years of fall/ winter. I wear a lot of dark colors in the winter so it is perfect but it also looks so great with beiges and tan as the hardware is gold.

The colour "Dark Natural" looks very dark on the website, it looks very dark brown but here looks more caramel... Am I wrong? Can you tell me please which one is the real colour? The bag is beautiful!

I 100% agree with your thoughts on the dark natural! I think it's more a a medium caramel that pulls more warm than cool in tone. I find the the bag looks much lighter and warmer in person versus the website. Also, I consider it a lighter shade than my saddle bag's darker cognac color. Overall, I think it pulls more medium caramel than brown. I actually consider the YSL's "brick" and "mud" color as more of a true brown. I hope that helps!
