My favorite thing about the camera is the laser touch. I have owned this camera since December 2008. All my video's are shot with it. It is spectacular.

Got this camera today! love IT It's great. And you can use the converter on the software that comes with it and it goes onto moviemaker fine. Can't wait to properly use it. Thanks very much for this review, it pretty much made my mind up to get this camera.

does this upload onto iMovie 09 for Mac? i am getting one for Christmas and am worried that it might not work for my computer.

Any idea on how to change the number/letter combination that it uses to save files? When I import my clips from Everio Browser to my Editing program, all my files are out of order and makes clips difficult to find when editing. Can't you change the number/letter file that it saves as?

i'm just wondering what your thoughts are on burning the video's onto dvd?

Fells nice and solid, all parts fit and move well, no squeaks wiggles or gaps, build quality is very good (almost always is with JVC gear I've found), and recording to SD cards removes a WHOLE bunch of delicate moving parts in tape drives and HDD's... I take care of my geat carefully, but don't feel a big need to treat this guy like it's delicate.

i have this camera, the image is pretty decent but i think the audio is to loud and harsh, is there a way to change this?

i saw this video a few months ago when i was looking for a camera to moutn in my bike so i can shoot the road and some places in a few road trips and this guy convinced me of getting one, now i had a blue Everio GZ-MS 120, and im happy with it

Take the SD card, put it into a card reader connected to your computer via usb, then access the card reader from "my computer." Copy the video from the card and save it onto your computer in a folder someplace. Open up Movie Maker, browse for the file, import it, and drag it into the timeline.

Would you recommend it for stopmotion? That's what I do. I have a DXG digital camera and I hate the white balance adjustment! It's irritating that the screen flickers especially when I'm getting better at animation.

Did you have issues with the mov files that the camera records in? I've read other peoples reviews who say that if you have a mac not to get this camera because the quality on the computer sucks once uploaded. Do you know if that is is true or not?

I bought this cam and returned it. If you move the cam or the subject moves, there is a strange motion blur (Jaggies at the edges of objects). Additionally, the .MOD file (MPEG) couldn't be read properly by Windows media player, and you can't edit it in Adobe Premier elements, VirtualDub, or any other editing program I tested it with. I don't know how this guy got such clear video with it. I thought something was defective on the first one, but replacement was the same result.

I have that camcorder for about 1 years and I love it ! Best for it's price. And good image quality for Standart Definition camcorder and quite good optical zoom but the digital image stabiliser isn't very well

problems with mod? i hadded it too download a cracked xilisoft video converter ultimate then put the mod in it i use the hd format what you will use?

I use the Ulead Video Studio for editing and it supports MOD files. You don't have to convert them, the quality remains great and you can save them in many different formats. MPEG 2 is the equivalent of MOD so i use it for my projects.

how do you turn the digital zoom on this camera off my quality sucks will it improve the quality?

Well, what I said only applies if this camera records in an .avi format. If it record in .mov then after you save it in a folder, you'll have to use something to convert it to .avi (such as anyvideoconverter) before you can use it in Movie Maker.
