You hit the nail on the head when you said that creators highlight the shows, not take views away from them. A perfect example in your case would be letting people even know that new Total Drama reboot released in the first place!

Copyright is always a scary thing trying to avoid but these companies do no favor for people giving free advertisement to their shows. Thanks for the video Markis, definitely needs to be discussed.

KZread/google really need to flip the benefit of the doubt and burden of proof to the accusers, and they should allow monitization to continue until the video is proven to be infringement. Or at least, hold monetization earnings in a virtual escrow until the matter is settled.

it might be possible that warner bros is having all these videos copyright claimed because they are planning to make the shows/IPs the videos are about be tax write-offs and they don't want people to watch the shows because views on the shows would mean people want more of the show/IP, which waner bros doesn't want

I swear the copyright system has weird logic when it comes to reviewing or even dissecting certain characters in animated entertainments. It would be insane if I decided to make a full on hour video essay explaining the rise and crashing fall of CN as a whole from 2010 up to now showing many random clips of their commercials, episodes of shows that did air around that time to even the schedules of their run time. However I get copyright for something stupid that makes no sense be it "this should aimed at kids" or "you can't show this in the 1st 24 seconds" despite nothing really violating what I upload.

I think it's all of Warner Bros. I did a video on Supernatural recently and the exact same thing happened to me.
