You arent customizing your character. You are projecting insanity on to other npcs into the game. Since time imemorial games knew if you select male game treated you male, if female game treated you female. Now you pick body type 1 (male) with walk type 2 (female) and a female designed hairstyle and customize makeup. And force npcs to refer to your male character as female. Or they/them. Instead of just selecting female. Thats not "choice" thats just superfluity. And from a dev as notorious as Betheada for "cutting out useless stuff" its a staggering display of hypocrisy too.
