YouTube Comments Said This Is The BEST TRUCK EVER MADE... Now I'm FIXING It

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

According to the internet this is the most perfect truck built in the last 20 years a 2006 GMC Sierra work truck without a single option. I bought this truck for just $1,500 and while it technically runs and drives, it needs a transmission to actually go anywhere. Now it's time to fix the 4L60e that's slowly moving towards all neutrals.

What motorcycle do I ride? A few. Ducati 1198, Honda Goldwing, Honda Grom, Honda Ruckus
What do I do for a living? Make KZread videos.
Can you wheelie? No, I suck.
Are you fast? Sort of. I suck mostly though.
Where can I keep up with you off the bike?

Do you go to school? College, for 2 classes.
Why do you ride so dangerously? What do mean? I was doing 25.
Do you go to the track? Of course, hopefully there will be videos in the future.
Do you play video games? No, but I might stream N64 Goldeneye at some point. Twitch: WatchJRGo
Are you afraid the police will watch your videos and arrest you? Something something evidence something something warrants and due process of law

Mine came out about a thousand dollars by the time everything was said and done. It was 700.00 to rebuild the transmission and about 300 in labor fluid and all. The guy who dropped it and put it back in for me was a friend. The reason being I the was because he was one of my commercial accounts. So I always helped him out with parts and he would help me when I needed. But one thing I learned in the auto parts business is help out your accounts because you never know when you're going to need them.

The 4l60 connectors on the neutral safety switch have glue on them. That is why they are so hard to get out. The trick is to heat them up with a heat gun and they will slide right out.

@@ezdubbin97 I'm old, back from the days when TH400, C6, and A904 ruled the roost. Maybe not the best, but if you kept the filter and fluid changed they just kept going with a few hundred pounds torque ahead of them. Which would probably grenade today's gasoline stuff. Japanese Automatic Transmission Company has built some good trannys, but Honda and Toyota build their own trannys now for a reason. And let's not forget the VW/Audi 010 for non-longevity, but at least it was cheap, lightweight, and easy to rebuild. It's right down there with Fords 6-speed nightmare. You'd think that with greater and longer experience designing them that today's transmissions would be damn near perfect but it seems they're going the other way to me.
