The two bridal consultants are so funny, but also very sensitive to their clients needs. Great job ladies!

I like how they don't use dramatic music whenever someone says something they don't like about a dress. It's all uplifting.

I love the way the second lady getting the dress said its my body I love it, and if other people don't they need to get over it, so nice to see confidence like that

I’m a allergic to running too! I get it. I come from a family of runners and my grandfather comes from a people known round the world for running. I hate running. I did not inherit the running gene. I do love physical activity though. You just gotta find what you love and do that. It’s not about vanity. It’s about health. For me, its so important. I struggle with insomnia, depression, addiction and suicidal ideation. Exercise helps me more than any therapy ever has. If I fall off track with it, the struggles become huge problems.

ALL brides, no matter what size, should be made to feel as though they are the most stunning bride of all, on their wedding day ♥️ These ladies know just how to make that magic happen. Bravo 👏🏻

Given the money Kleinfeld's make you'd think they could provide a line of dresses that would make the larger brides feel welcome and beautiful as well. Maybe they just don't want larger women, always a mistake, we have money too.

Someone said they found a place in US. It had lots of gowns up to 26. And you were the sole apptmt. But they didn't say where. Said the assistants were lovely.

The first bride was beautiful. Her pink hair actually softened her look and made her eyes brighter.

I LOVE Jo and Al, they are just brilliant!!! I've seen all these before (a few times) and yet I still gasp when the bride comes out in "the" dress!!

For some reason the second bride, Vannessa, reminded me of the Vicar of Dibley (Dawn French). I think it was her personality. She was upbeat and funny and not ashamed of her body. Jo and Al are miracle workers. I really love them. They take body conscious, skeptical brides and turn them into princesses. Their genuine love, compassion and understanding is what does the trick. They deserve medals.

The first bride looked so beautiful in the dress she chose. And, she is so blessed to have such a supportive mother and sister❤️

It’s interesting because I think she liked the dress based on how her mother reacted to it, so she was really stuck on her mothers opinion and as soon as the mother said she didn’t like the fishtail dress as much as that one, she changes her opinion

I had weight loss surgery 12 years ago, lost 160lbs and have kept it off, but it is a lifestyle change. So many people I know who also had the surgery have gained their weight back, some gained even more than they originally started out. It's not just about how much you eat, its also about what you eat.

It sounds like the people who've regained the weight, have a psychological problem when it comes to how they view themselves and food. The 1st step should have been to see a psychiatrist. Followed by a dietitian/nutritionist to get the ball going, before considering weight loss surgery. I know someone who's been through it, and those are the steps he took, before surgery, and has kept the weight off, since the last time I saw him.

I do not know about you, but as these wonderful women nurture the ladies that come into their shop, they are nurturing me, inspiring me. Thank you Alison and Jo for what you give to not only those beautiful brides that enter your shop but for us that watch you on KZread.

She is so blessed to have such a wonderful sister. My sister passed away a year ago. We used to watch say yes to the dress and daydream of a version like the curvy brides boutique when we were in highschool. Her sisters comments remind me so much of my own sisters support. I wish she could be at my wedding, but since she cant be, ill make sure i do her proud. And wear what makes me feel as beautiful as she thought i was.

Weight loss surgery is definitely a life style change, I had the sleeve done 3 yrs ago, proud of her wanting to make that change. She's beautiful

Couldn’t agree more. Just love these ladies. They know their stuff and made all the brides to be look gorgeous.

I had a gastric bypass in 2004 when I was a size 24…..it was truly not as difficult as I envisioned. I learned to live with what I could and couldn’t eat which wasn’t too much! Now 20 years later I am still a size 8/10 and love my life. No regrets whatsoever.

Vanessa has the best outlook on body positivity ❤

I was in a 3-yr. relationship with a man who was 17-1/2 yrs. younger than I. It was never right - the chasm was too great. There were so many levels on which we never related.

"We know what Nathan wants" Yeah, a new mom!! I dated a much younger guy, years ago, I already had children and couldn't have anymore because I had to have a hysterectomy when I was only 26, and broke off the relationship as soon as I knew he wanted children of his own. Things change when there's a big age difference and both end up wanting different things. I had already experienced things he hadn't and deserved to experience having children. As they get older, he will change as he matures and who knows if they'll be on the same page still. I wish them well.

Eh. It depends on the people. My cousin likes the freedom his much-much older gf gives him b/c he didn't want kids, etc. And his mom can be SUPER overbearing so locking into a relationship with a woman who had already been-there, done-that and was also easy going was a plus for him.

The ladies are just so amazing,i have teared up so much,they are compassionate, empathetic,kind and also competent on their job. Aaah they sure do make the world a better place❤❤❤

The last bride and her BF are friendship goals.

I wish I lived close to these shops. I love how the staff makes people feel about themselves. It’s more than just shopping for a dress. It really is an amazing experience and I would absolutely love to be able to go to one of these places and feel half as special when I try my dress.

I had gastric bypass 3 months ago. Yes, I wish I could have done it on my own but I finally had to admit that I didn’t have the discipline. The surgery was the best more I ever made! If you have a bypass then it can be reversed.

I had the Lap band surgery 13 years ago, and I still have 130 pounds off my body.

I love these 2 women, they make these women feel beautiful. I was Charlie 2yrs ago so understand Exactly how these women coming into the shop feel. I never looked in the mirror 7st heavier. I would look at my face and want to cringe. I still have a way to go, but I'm almost there. I don't hate myself now, I kinda like me. These women look beautiful in their dresses 🥰
