Her sister came around in the end but I don’t think her sister realized how negative she is because she thinks she’s protecting her. As someone who has been there with her mother. They hold you back and make you feel unattractive by managing what they believe looks best which is usually covered up

Oh how I know that kind of advice. Not overtly critical but the only clothes they like on you are super baggy things that hide you. It can give a person a complex. My Mom always did that. Have even seen her do it to other women. Can’t stand any curves on anyone. I’m glad I got over listening.

I kept noticing that about a lot of the wedding dresses in this particular shop. I freaking love pockets and hate that so many of my clothes don't have them. Any time I find dresses with pockets I'm just like yaasssssssssss!

​@@alosialee Sometimes I think that the fashion industry believes us big people need large pockets to hide snacks in. I often see clothes for slimmer people that have teeny tiny pockets and then I go to the plus size section and there's are pockets you can actually put stuff in.

Sister is a very tricky kind of bully, the kind who really does want to do the best for her sister and never ever gives her space. I've met a few of them, always lovely people, always horrified when it's pointed out to them.

I love how she turns towards Jo and Al at the end and says "thank you" so sincerely and sweetly.

She has such a lovely skin, eyes, eyelashes and eyebrows not to mention lovely delicate personality

I couldn't get past the sister's eye makeup. Those 'wings' freaked me every time the camera panned to her.

I think the sister, while maybe a little too opinionated, her heart is in the right place. She loves her sister and seems very protective. But she has to fix that eyeliner before I can really take her fashion advice seriously. LOVE LOVE LOVE THE BRIDE!!!!

You can do a wing with a hooded eyelid. They're supposed to be at the SIDES, NOT in the center of your eyelid.

I am getting to the point if the video has photos of the stores or the people that own and work in the US stores.. I just scroll past. Yes, I am from the US, but I don't want to watch All their NYC and Atlanta, Ga. ..DRAMA, their perspectives, they're being rude to family members of the Brides and their loved ones, their opinions, comments, them showing a Bride dresses above their budget.. I could go on and on with reasons why. The main reason I watch say yes to the Dress is to get away from all that stuff. I just want to watch Beautiful People and interesting dresses, not drama queens and trashy dresses. These Two Wonderful Women who nurture and care about the Brides seem to put their egos aside and help the Brides find their inner and outer beauty. So, I am with y'all on this one. 👍.🕊️

She is absolute gorgeous!!! That face, that skin, those eyes, that figure. She could easily have been a plus size model imo. And such a lovely spirit. She lokked indeed ingredible in that wedding dress. I wish her all the best. May she live a long life full of love and hapiness and recognize her beauty within as well as on the outside.

@Miss Manawaka losing weight should be about health, not about beauty. Actually it will be so much easier to lose weight when you have a positive view on yourself. And people won't lose weight just because other people tell them they should, but only when they have internal motivation and believe in themselves. (with some medical or mental help if needed).

To this bride: Always remember your fiancé loves you just as you are! You look amazing!

Have watched scores of these. First time I've ever seen a bride to be turn to these two Wedding Dress Angels and say "thank you". Amazing transformation.

Sister is always nice to have for support but at some point we have to grow into our cells and become the best person we can be. It is so nice Jo and Al were there to guide this young woman/Bride Down the journey into believing in herself & finding her own beauty! You can just see in this bride‘s eyes and smile that she had found the right dress and I love how these two Shop ladies treat the bride & her find self-esteem, as well as, find the right Bridal gown❣️ If we could find MORE KIND & LOVING LADIES LIKE JO & AL, WHAT A GRAND WORLD WE WOULD HAVE❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️

Completely agree. Also, it is not like the sister is slim herself but she never fails to remark about the bride's size. I absolutely despise people like her. I had an aunt who was almost 300 lbs but every time she saw me she told me I have gained weight and should lose some!
