I know I can't imagine being a dress seller and telling somone to lose weight to find a wedding dress. So rude. Many people have had that experience. It makes no sense ...big ladies have money to spend just the same as anyone else. I do not understand a dress seller insulting the costomer.

"Can I keep it?" What a BEAUTIFUL bride with a lovely personality. Reaction from everyone was priceless.

All the dresses looked fabulous on her, but the final choice? STUNNING, she is goingto make a beautiful bride!!!

This bride is my size and seeing how flattering the dresses look on her body is so encouraging for me. I really worry I will look like a stuffed sausage whenever my day to shop for bridal dresses comes!

You will absolutely look beautiful! 18 really isn't big, it's pretty average. Just look at how beautiful this bride looks. She doesn't look big at all. I know you'll look just as stunning (if not more so!).

You dont have to worry at all😍😍 once those strings in the back are tied up, u will look amazing. And wedding gowns comes in such an amazing shape, it will definitely flatter you. Its not my custom to wear a gown, let alone white gown, but I wore one on my wedding and looked stunning😁😁

When you are plus size, everyone tries to give you suggestions, well-intentioned or not, to lose some of it. But no one encourages you to be confident in your own skin. These two women do that.. it might be a business but they are doing awesome job as humans too.. making brides feel beautiful without judging them for their shape..

@@andreakalinova1236 You can't tell. She might have excellent cholesterol and blood sugar control. She might have extremely low markers of inflammation. If that's the case, she's healthy as a size 18.

She's so pretty! Everyone needs to see that.

I can really relate to this woman. I went from a size 32 to 18 in 3 years, and clothes really do become a struggle once you hit a plateau and are gaining/losing the same 10 lbs. When I saw how loose her top was, i felt this pang of familiarity 🥺💜

@@sadiyanp9263 i was lucky to be in a situation where i could focus solely on my weight loss for the first couple years. I did a lot of research and learned all about counting calories, how to stay in a calorie deficit while eating nutritious meals, how to weigh my portions, and i had to learn a lot of cooking techniques in general. Losing weight made my movements a lot faster and lighter, so that helped me feel more comfortable to actually exercise in front of other people.

That is just what I thought. As if the dress somehow was a continuation of her own body. Unbelievably matching skin and hair tone, body form AND personality. You rarely see such a wonderful choice!

I've just cried at this because I went from a 26 to an 18 and it took my brain a year to realise. I'm 68 so it could be the age lol. A beautiful bride in a beautiful dress

I just feel like crying looking at her. Not tears of sadness... It's just... Ah.. I don't even have words. It's just that she reflects purity... You can clearly see she's a pure soul I love her 🥺❤️

I went from a size 24 to a size 8 years and years ago and I still see myself as plus sized. I loved this dress on her it was stunning!! I’m sure her groom was captivated at his beautiful bride!

What a stunning bride and so relatable. I went from a US size 26 to a size 14/16 in less than a yr and I still see myself as a size 26. It's so weird how your brain doesn't see things as they really are.

This one hit me so hard! She let herself be so vulnerable and she had so much support and love from her friend and sister and the lovely ladies at this shop. You could tell when she went from hopeless to "I've got this!" Loved it!

Her bringing little cakes for everyone is the most wholesome thing ever!

I freaking love these ladies you're genuine therapists!

I love Jo and Al! So kind and always on spot when it comes to picking the dresses.

That dress was made for you….absolutely stunning! Now start showing that great figure of yours! My son lost almost 50 kilos and it really does take time before your “brain” sees it. He’s there now….you’ll get there as well. Have a wonderful wedding!

The slowly dawning glorious look of surprise and delight on her face--I started to cry.

Jo & Al are the absolute best for our Plus Size beauties. OMGoodness I got chills when this bride found her dress. Beautiful! When I married in 1979, there were no Plus Size bridal shops or even decent full figure styles. So I made my dress sample from domestic with a white cotton lace overlay. Hoped to make a final version of ivory brocade but time & money got away from me. Size 14/16 cost less than $100.**. Spent 2 months making & designing it.

I love these women they really help give the confidence to these bride to see how gorgeous their body truly are

What a beautiful bride! She looked stunning in every dress. But I'm really glad she got a dress that really 'spoke' to her...something that really gave HER that 'special moment' you know. It really just made the whole bridal experience for her..

I’m normally not a ruffle fan, but this gown is perfect on her - it suits her body and her personality- the ruching on the bodice is lovely and really shows off her great shape, right through her hip line. So nice that it was her size, so she could REALLY see how it actually fit, and the top was snug, not gapping like so many strapless gowns. Beautiful Bride - inside and out, lovely sister/friend, and Al and Jo are just the best.

I relate to this bride. I lost over 100lb, gained some back, and my wedding is in 2 weeks. I never thought I would be in a fitted dress but that’s how my dress is. I’m still struggling with body image issues, so whenever the seamstress says I look beautiful, it’s great to hear, but *feeling* beautiful is something different

I completely understand what she’s going through. I also have PCOS and it can be pretty debilitating. When you take care of yourself it really helps but certainly doesn’t make every symptom go away! That being said do not listen to the doctors when they tell you that you won’t be able to have children. I have a wonderful six year old boy and one on the way! As a teen they told me I would not be able to have kids and it was crushing. She’s a gorgeous bride and she deserves all the happiness! ❤️❤️
