That's awesome! Very easy to get residency here. Understanding El Salvador Residency Time Requirements 1) Year 1 - Temporary Residency: - Granted for one year upon arrival. - Leaving El Salvador is allowed, but no single trip should exceed 90 days, and cumulative days abroad should not surpass 120 days. 2) Year 2 to 3 - Visa Extension: - Your visa can be extended for another two years after the first year. - Requirement to stay in El Salvador for at least eight months each year remains in effect. 3) Year 3 onwards - Permanent Residency: - After completing three years, you're eligible to apply for permanent residency. - This status allows you to leave El Salvador for up to two years in one stretch. 4) Year 5 onwards - Eligibility for Citizenship: - After five years of residing in El Salvador, you can apply for citizenship. - As a citizen, you can stay outside El Salvador for up to five years at a time. Reach out, happy to help 🇸🇻🚀

@@Moneydelics Honestly I lived through the 80's and the U.S. funding of death squads in El Salvador. i read a ton about it and it scared me silly about not just El Salvador but the U.S. itself. And then came MS-13. I think El Salvador has to prove it can stand the test of time, not just the incumbency of a single politician (whom it must be fair to say has done some questionable things). The entire region has been questionable for more than a hundred years, significantly through U.S. intervention, and I worry that the U.S., which has every incentive to crush bitcoin, will not assassinate/invade/etc. the way it has everywhere around the world in order to scare the living bitcoin out of every ambitious politician trying to fix an economy and giving the least scare to U.S. megabanks. I just think El Salvador needs more time, and more than one politician to create a lasting structure and tradition.

I like that countries are competing for people now! I think nobody will catch up to El Salvador anytime soon - in terms of being the first mover onto Bitcoin, it's literally impossible. Most countries are headed for ruin at the hest of boomers and feminists. The $1M price tag for fast citizenship is fair. For many people it will be cheaper to get that citizenship and spend wealth in El Salvador than to get flayed by the tax authorities in their home countries. Besides, I understand that you can still get it the normal way. Also it was a good point brought up that it raises the national pride and willingness to build at home. The selling point that you can buy your way to being remembered, was however on the dumb side. That just made it seem cheap and money grab-y. Thankfully I only care about being remembered by those in my own life, so I'm good. But I'm still very much interested in helping the country in any way I can! Really hope nothing comes in the way of me moving there next year. It brings a tear to my eye that I can finally have some representation by a common-sense head of state. Bukele is awesome, and so are the people of El Salvador for electing him.

Hot take: If you believe that $1,000,000 is "too expensive" or that any passport in the world is currently superior to the one offered by El Salvador through its AdoptingES Freedom Visa program, it likely means that you don't fully understand one or more of the following: 1) #Bitcoin ; 2) How President Nayib Bukele is transforming the country and where El Salvador is headed; 3) What's happening globally. My bet is that most people outside of El Salvador don't truly understand number 2. And, obviously, I don't blame them for it. You need to see it to believe it!

What we do here in the US is pay a million dollars in travel and relocation costs but only if you have no money or skills or passport so we can be sure of spending even more millions supporting you for life. In case you’re wondering how you are going to pay for your fentanyl only being able to steal $999/day we’re working on adding UBI to the package. It’s a whole different approach and we’ll see who’s the real philosopher king Bukele or Brandon.

Why $1mill Economic liberty, only for people who have a spare 1 million what about the people who can come and participate but I haven’t got that sort of money but I have the potential you’re missing out on those people. I guess you’re looking at it through the lens of people I’ve got thousands of bitcoin talk to you, $1 million is nothing such a pity I’ve been following these two guys for years max And Stacey. That’s a pity they didn’t encourage more people to come and left it to the wealthy as it’s always the case, if you’re already wealthy and get the brakes. Stacey says they want the best, and the brightest no, they want the richest! What about if someone is super bright and super motivated, and super freedom minded, but lives in Burundi or Gaza and dosnt have the dough?

Since when did the Salvador legislator, who supposedly represent the wisdom of the citizenship, vote on this million dollar visa? People who have millions of dollars to throw around are generally not the best and brightest. The whole idea seems to have not been thought out very well. You will end up with a bunch of know-it-all snobs who will try to run everything like Wall street and California. It seems Salvador has idled their Constitutional government and therefore, the enjoyment of true freedom, is insecure at best. It has rounded up gangsters and innocent by standers alike, and when are these souls going to have at least some semblance of a fair trial. And how are the gangsters being rehabilitated? Bitcoin may be a gift from God as a life raft from fiat, but Salvador should not presume it will be the best and the brightest in the history books. Salvador's fate is fragile at best. No one really knows where Salvador is headed at this point in the game. On a Global scale, much of the World regions, with better climates, geology and neighbors having more stable governments, are waking up to Bitcoin, and it's general adoptions is in the process of revolutionizing many regions and nations. Instead of the World coming to Salvador, Bitcoin is coming to the World at gallop speed. But I do hope all the best for Salvador.

@@jerryarcher9489 I believe many of those classified as "gangsters" are more like apprentices and I also believe there are instances where positive training, patience and support from family members can have a positive effect and many such condemned souls will respond and become good citizens. 60,000 arrested can't all be chiefs, hardened veteran gangsters, many have never been taught a better way of life.

I visited San Salvador in October. It's ok, but it really is no different than Costa Rica or Panama, or any other Central American nation. The average person isn't using Bitcoin to any great extent, but they like Bukele. And the Bitcoin City is still years away. From what I saw, it's a very tough sell for $1 Million. It's years away from from being anything worth $1 Million. El Salvador has a lot to prove.
